In this walking tour of East Berlin, we’ll walk along Karl-Marx Allee and learn about the distinct socialist architecture of this boulevard as well as visit several contemporary art galleries, checking out new works from emerging and established artists and speak about the history and present of Berlin as a hotbed of creativity. • We’ll meet up at the ecclectic Café Tasso to talk about how artists have shaped Berlin since the reunification of Germany in the early 1990s and about the city’s diverse art scene. We will also talk a look at the vast collection of second-hand books in the basement of the café. • Then we’ll make our way along Karl-Marx Allee. Along the way we´ll visit several galleries, such as Galerie im Turm, NBB, Capitain Petzel and others, to tour their current exhibits and, occasionally, speak to curators I know. • As we walk down the street, we’ll discuss the artworks we have seen. I’ll also point out some of the most notable buildings around us and intricate details of them, which reflect the Stalinist “wedding cake” style of architecture that makes this street unique. • The tour concludes at the Café Moskau, another iconic building of the post-war era of eastern Berlin. The tour is a great way to explore the Friedrichshain district of Berlin and get an insider’s view of the city’s vibrant contemporary art scene.

During this tour we will have time to go to details, to see hidden corners of the Old Town of Prague, we will visit several churches, take a walk through Jewish Quarter, will see Klementinum, get learn something about Jesuit college, national library, places connected with Vaclav Havel, modern history, will hear about the astronomical clock, Mozart, Smetana, Kafka, Albert Einstein, mystery of the Old Town of Prague, Charles bridge, its history, secrets of the statues and much more. We will experience both ancient architecture as Romanesque, gothic, renaissance and baroque, but will see also richly ornate Art Nouveau –the phenomena of the architecture of the turn of 19th and 20th Centuries. This tour includes also 40 minutes boat cruise across the river Vltava going to “Venice of Prague” – famous channel (included the price) - the cruise with small refreshment, we will have time to stop for the beer and pretzel and chat over drink. Séance photo dans la fabuleuse Prague ♥

Я предпочитаю проводить фотопрогулки утром, чтобы не было огромного количества туристов в кадре, и конечно, у вас был свободен целый день после нашей фотосъемки. Фотопрогулка начинается со встречи у м.Малостранская. После чего мы знакомимся и идем гулять к набережной Влтавы, где будет первая остановка для фотосессии на фоне Карлова моста. Далее мы идем гулять по улочкам к Карловому мосту, возде которого и на котором у нас будет следующая остановка для фотосессии. Далее направимся в Староместской площади, где сфотографируемся возле Орлоя и также на самом Старомаке ( так местные зовут свою Староместскую площадь).

My tour of Berlin is very different than the usual Politically correct BS. Actually, think of this as the Politically incorrect tour of Berlin, so feel free to bring along your favorite rude jokes when joining us. It will be full of bad language and bad taste jokes-while paying respect where it is due. No snowflakes allowed! Our exploration will involve memorials, monuments and graves, along with churches and parks. We will discuss a mix of history, current events, local cuisine, the best spots for a cold German beer by the city center of Berlin. Be prepared to be socially active. Other things to note The tour is meant for adults, 18 or older. Each guide will be identified with a small yellow flag and our name!

Next to the Astronomical clock, you will meet your guide in a stylish historical costume, who will lead you into Old Town’s darkening alleys. There, you will be shown locations of dreadful discoveries, medieval graveyards, ancient churches and hospitals, as well as other places of Prague associated with the undead, demons and strange apparitions. The stories about them shaped the city’s self-perception for centuries! Through the lightly theatrical storytelling, you will familiarize yourself with the authentic creepy lore of the locals, but also learn a lot about the city’s past, as your guide will put the tales into historical context that further expands your understanding of Prague and its horrorful side. The tour makes stops at a handful of famous Prague landmarks (see under “Where you’ll be”) but also leads through picturesque areas off the beaten path with hidden gems. In 90 minutes, you'll be back at the starting point, where you will receive further tips for the evening and sightseeing suggestions inspired by the experience. * If the tour seems sold out, scroll down and "contact host", we have always more.
