Quiet and clean room for rent in the historic Steven's Square-Loring Park neighborhood. Perfect for a longer term 1-3 month stay. This is a central location to nearly everything you'd want to do in Minneapolis. Easy access to downtown, uptown, loring park, and interstate corridor 94 and 35. Walk or bike to coffee shops, restaurants, public transit, museums, parks, or grocery stores.
This is a clean, quiet, and quaint room in a beautifully kept 1915 building. Lots of natural light, modern updated bathroom and kitchen, and large common spaces for reading-eating-internetting.
  • I was a longterm stay at Dre's place and she was great. Accommodating, respectful, knew the city well, and cared about her guests and her space. The location is wonderful and the place is cozy. Also the room is very nice. Neighbors are mostly good. I biked around the city everywhere. There's a garage for bikes and there's bike lanes, and it's also not too far to get to the midtown greenway. Overall a good experience.

  • I stayed here for one month in July 2018 and cannot recommend this listing highly enough. Dre's apartment and the room available to rent is a little perfect haven in Minneapolis. As mentioned, the apartment is in a quaint beautiful building in a very safe neighborhood and extremely easy walking access to the downtown area. From day one, the apartment was impeccably clean and very tastefully furnished. The room itself is extremely comfortable for a single guest. After a late arrival due to a delayed flight, it was a treat to arrive to a cozy room with snacks and water thoughtfully included by Dre. My favorite common space in the apartment is a beautiful sunroom with great natural lighting, perfect for reading and doing work from home. The dining, living and kitchen areas are very large and well equipped. I really appreciated having access to a well functioning washer/dryer as well. The bathroom was very clean and included a large tub with great water pressure! The apartment is on the first floor but street noise was never an issue. Dre is a delightful host; she is a very caring housemate, available for wonderful conversation but happy to let you do your own thing too. I truly enjoyed my stay at her place and still can't believe how lucky I was to find this listing! I'm sure future guests will also feel this way.

  • Andrea is an amazing host and makes you feel at home. The location is very close to downtown Minneapolis at a very quiet location and accessible via local transit network. The apartment is super-clean and very scenic. Andrea has lots of plants in the house which make the house really comfortable to live in. There are all the amenities one could ask for.

It’s a quite place downtown, without the madness of being downtown in the traffic or the noise.
My cozy studio apartment is a block away from Loring Park and the Walker Art Center which hosts the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden where the Spoonbridge and Cherry is located.
The neighborhood is great, full of creative and kind people and it is also great because you’re not in the busy part of Downtown but can walk to most places in 10 mins. Bus stop locations are on the end of every street and the light rail is very close as well. Places to eat near the apartment is the Eggy’s breakfast & lunch Diner, the Nicollet Diner, Muffin Top Cafe, Dunn Bros Coffee, Ping’s Szechuan Bar & Grill, Brits Pub, Cafe & Bae Lurcat and many more!
  • This place is perfect if you are visiting Minneapolis. I was there for the Xgames at the US Bank stadium and was able to walk there no problem. 1/2 block away from Loring park, a couple blocks from Uptown, and a couple blocks from the downtown night life. I don’t spend much time in the airBNB cause i am out and about. I just need a bed and a shower and this was perfect! Such a great price for what it is. Jay is punctual, polite and sticks to the plan. Great spot!

  • Jay’s place is great. The value for what you get can’t be beat and It’s located within walking distance to several great spots to eat. Jay was awesome on working with my schedule to check in and out. Definitely recommend.

  • Great location! Centrally located near breweries, parks, restaurants, and public transportation. Parking can be a bit of an issue on weekdays, as only paid street parking with a two hour limit is available.

    Daniel2018-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Jay’s place is fantastic... one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. Jay is super responsive, his place is a super easy walk downtown, and it’s very clean and comfortable. I’m definitely coming back!

    Daniel2018-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Jay was great! Very helpful and flexible with my schedule. The apt was exactly as pictured and the perfect place for my trip. Right next to downtown and a lovely park. Would definitely recommend.

  • Although I never met Steve, I had a really easy and safe stay. He gave me all the information I needed for my first time staying in a hostle and I am super grateful for that. There was a lot of parking around his house which was a MAJOR plus! It was a little difficult to get bathroom time which was the only difficult part of my stay. Ladies bring your own mirror if you are expecting to get ready at Steve's place.

    Chloe2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • It's a bare bones place to stay exactly as advertised. Everything describing it on here is accurate. My only complaint was an allergic reaction that kept me up all night itching.

    Logan2017-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • Steve is great and responds quick. Other guests are very considerate and it is exactly as described. I actually booked another night since I couldn't find anything better for the value & location. If you need a quick stay with PB & J and coffee, this is the place. Definitely recommend it. Thanks Steve.

    Son2018-11-25T00:00:00Z

  • This was a perfect place for us to crash for one night. Everything was very clean and stylish and while not huge, still comfortable. They were quick to respond to our questions and even let us hold our bags there after checking out so we didn't have to drag them around the city. We'd definitely stay here again!

This is a charming historic unit with french doors and a non-working fireplace with lots of natural light. The unit is nicely furnished and ideal for up to four guests. The unit is on the second floor of a Victorian home built in 1903. LOCATION: The apartment is just 1.3 mi from U.S. Bank Stadium, walking distance to downtown and minutes away from the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Convenient bus lines run to Uptown, LynLake and, U of M campus. Coffee shops and Eat Street are close-by, as well.
This space has a lot of historic charm with east and south facing windows which bring in lots of natural light. This is a small apartment so although it will fit up to four people, occasionally I get feedback that the apartment is most ideal for two. However, I have had many groups of three and four who were delighted with the space. It depends on where one is from right? New Yorker's and people coming from urban areas find the space to have plenty of room, while people from rural areas sometimes feel the space is too small. I think the space is somewhat small, but well appointed and optimized for best use. The home was built in 1903 and is an example of a paired down victorian. Although the unit has been updated and modernized it still has many aspects unique to an older home such as squeaky floor boards, tighter access points, and blemishes on the porcelain bathtub and sink. The heat is controlled by myself on the third floor of the house, so if some adjustment of the heat is desired one should contact me regarding any concerns and I can make appropriate adjustments.
The neighborhood is a diverse, busy and urban area with some charm and a lot of grit. There are a number of cafes and stores within walking distance. The Boiler Room cafe is a charming garden level coffee shop situated in the a boiler room of a commercial building and is 2 blocks away. CVS and Starbucks are about 2 blocks away as well. MIA or Minneapolis Institute of Arts and The Minneapolis Convention Center are about 5 blocks away. A restaurant called The Copper Hen is about a 7 block walk and has French fusion food and a charming high end country aesthetic (think Marie Antoinette playing peasant in her pretend village). Wedge Table is about 6 blocks walk and features organic healthy wholesome food with a spacious and clean cafeteria style layout. Slice of New York is 5 blocks away, open late, and has the kind of delicious and greasy pizza slices one would grab before hopping on the subway for a night out in New York. The Bad Waitress (a diner), a Pizzeria called Black Sheep Pizza, and Pancho Villa Mexican Restaurant are all good choices on 26th and Nicollet, which is about 8 blocks away. Ice House is on 25th and Nicollet and has great food, live music, and outdoor seating adjacent to a pocket park with a water feature and sculptures. The Black Forest is a German Beer Garden with German food (nothing to write home about) but a really lovely outdoor terrace. Little Tijuana Restaurant is open super late and has great Mexican food. Rainbow Chinese is excellent and about 12 to 14 blocks away along with Quangs and Pho 79 which are both lively and affordable. There are a number of Asian Restaurants on Nicollet which people like, but I have not personally tried them.
  • Thomas' place was cozy, warm and decorated with an expert eye (seriously, who's your interior designer?). The apartment-situated on an upper floor of a charming old building- was walking distance to public transportation, drugstore and even an urgent care (which was convenient since I had come down with the flu prior to checking into the apt). I enjoyed the large, sunny windows during the day and a view of the downtown lights at night from the bedroom. Thomas was very responsive to any questions I had. I would love to stay here on my next visit to Minneapolis if he will have me :)

The unit is located on the second floor of a 1900's home, perfectly located in Stevens Square. The apartment was originally a one bedroom which I have converted into a studio with an office. I favored the idea of a queen bed ( which wouldn’t fit in the room) with a private area to work/study area instead.
The apartment does have a private bathroom with a great claw foot bathtub.
Stevens square and the surrounding neighborhoods offer something for everyone. The centralized location makes it close to all neighborhoods of Minneapolis, including the North Loop and Uptown and the university of MN. It’s also a quick, one mile walk to the convention center.
  • There were a couple of minor problems but Alex addressed them during our stay

  • What a find! Stylish and comfortable, a great place to stay in Minneapolis. the immediate neighborhood is electric but downtown and uptown are a short uber ride away!

Apartment #3 is the lower(basement)level of the 1806 Lasalle mansion. In my opinion, this one offers the best character, with exposed brick walls, decorative arches and stained concrete floors. It has an industrial feel, warmed up with bohemian decor and ultra comfy mattresses, pillows and blankets!
The apartment is dedicated to our guests. This is primarily an apartment for Airbnb. What is in the apartment is for our guests to use! This floor plan has some great space and a lot of character that is well noted! You’ll love the stay!

  • Adorable apartment with a great location. Cozy, comfortable, and decorated so nicely.

    Chelsea A2018-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed for 4 nights in mid-August. My main take away is that it is a cute, large apartment. I would not want to stay again only because of the flooring issues described below. The heat/humidity sucked (I knew this going into the reservation thanks to other reviews), but humidity/heat made the floor peeling stick even more to my skin and clothing and ultimately this was the defining feature to me. The good: (1) The location of this space is perfect for travelers heading to the Minneapolis Convention Center (12 minute direct walk). (2) There are two standing fans provided to deal with the heat, and a dehumidifier to deal with the moisture levels. (3) The style and decor are cute, and the space is plenty large for a small group of people. (4) There are kitchen basics, like a pot, silverware, plates, cups, coffee maker, microwave, oven, and fridge. Also, hangers to hang up my conference outfits. (5) I was able to check in about an hour early to drop off my things and head immediately to the conference center. (6) The wifi is ok, and works well enough for streaming on your laptop in the bedroom and at the main table. (7) The damp basement smell is strongest in the entrance area, but it did not bother me in the apartment itself (unless you are particularly sensitive to that smell). The bad: (1) My main issue (and an unexpected one) was the flooring. It is concrete (basement, expected), but it is painted or covered in a black/rusty colored stain that is peeling all over. I could not walk around barefoot and found that the flooring got all over everything. I would find it stuck to my skin under my clothes and on my face at times, which was a big issue for me as I was attending a professional conference. (2) I was aware it was a basement apartment, so was not surprised by the damp musty smell upon walking in. (3) Previous reviews mention there was not direct AC in the unit, but I was still surprised at the heat/humidity of the place. I had to move a fan around to different rooms with me, and slept with both fans directly on me. (4) The dehumidifier filled up in about 4-5 hours...so I ended up dumping water out multiple times per day. (5) The wifi never worked well enough for me to use Netflix on the provided TV. (6) The people walking around the area can be a bit sketchy (catcalling), but safe enough if you are used to city areas.

    Stephanie2018-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was as described! Great for our short stay in the city and easy access to our adventures. We thought the trundle bed was separate from the living area/couch.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alex's place. The location was fantastic, and we were able to walk to local food and drink spots with ease. The space itself was wonderful. It was roomy, clean, and felt like home for the weekend. Alex was also a great communicator and helped us to check in a little early to drop off our luggage. The price was fantastic for the location and space. I'd highly recommend a stay for anyone looking to travel to MPLS.

We have a beautiful condo in a small, quiet building 3 blocks from the Convention Center and downtown hotels. So whether your meeting is at the Convention Center, Hyatt or Hilton, you are a short walk to all. Connection to skyway system in inclement weather is a plus!
The room is in a beautiful small condo building. Decorated in soothing colors and very quiet. The bathroom is ensuite with heated floors and features a large walk in closet with coffee/tea service and snacks. Small fridge and microwave available for use. Warm, comfy robes provided. Private entrance and elevator comes directly into our unit.
This location is ideal! Easy walk to the convention center, convention hotels, sports stadiums, restaurants, etc. If you are visiting Minneapolis for a conference, this is the place for you! Great coffee shop across the street.
  • Dave and Sue were outstanding hosts! Their condo and the room is beautifully custom built with lush amenities like heated flooring, a private back entrance, and even an elevator to get your luggage up and down. It is a safe and easy .4 mile walk to/from the convention center, where I spent the majority of my visit for a work conference, from there you can take the skyway most anywhere downtown if you prefer to travel by foot. There are so many good restaurants within a good walking radius, Sue and Dave will let you know where to go! There were snacks and beverages waiting for me as well, and any other travel item I might have forgotten-I will definitely stay here again if and when in Minneapolis-it is Perfect!

  • I highly recommend this listing. Sue and David are great hosts and are ready with recommendations and information about Minneapolis. The room is comfortable, spotless, and the air-conditioning works great. There are also extra shampoo, soaps, etc. if you forget anything. The location is great, within walking distance to downtown, restaurants, the lightrail, and the bus stops right across the street (if it's not walking weather).

    Stephanie2015-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place was like a five star hotel with friendlier people. Could not be faulted. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was very convenient for my nearby conference, and Sue and Dave were just great.

    Lily2014-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place was an excellent choice for our weekend stay in Minneapolis. Sue wasn't home this weekend but she had a neighbor meet us to give us the keys and show us around. They had all the amenities: a small bottle of wine, ice water, coffee, tea, any toiletries you may have forgotten and a mini fridge. The room and bathroom were very clean and we slept like rocks (which is what we needed the night before the marathon!). We felt safe walking downtown to restaurants, we didn't hardly drive our car the entire weekend. We will certainly look to book Sue's place again if we make another trip to Minneapolis!

    Megan2015-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had a great stay at Sue's place in Minneapolis. The room was very spacious and perfectly clean! The photos accurately reflect the space. We greatly appreciated the coffee machine and snacks/bottled water/wine that was provided. We enjoyed exploring the restaurants and bars in Minneapolis and St. Paul. We were easily able to walk downtown and to Target Field. The light rail train was also within walking distance. Sue was always available to answer any of our questions via text message or in person. We would highly recommend this space to anyone visiting Minneapolis!

    Lindsey2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Sue and her husband made me very welcome to their place. The private room is comfortable, clean, and quite, and it's just blocks from downtown Minneapolis and the Institute of Arts. The immediate neighborhood is fairly quite and there's a great coffee shop across the street that serves light breakfast items. There are also plenty of bus lines within a few blocks of the location and the light rail stations are just a few stops away.

    Curtis2015-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • Sue and David were very friendly and accommodating. The guest room was the epitome of clean and sophisticated and they have a beautiful and comfortable home. Easy walk to Convention center and downtown, outdoor space very welcoming. The perk- she has a personal coffee pot in the walk in guest room closest and stocks the snack basket with fruit snacks and mini Twix and Snickers. Winning:)

    Katie2015-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • The guest suite is absolutely perfect! Its private and right off the main entrance so you don't feel like you're intruding on the hosts' home. Walking distance to downtown, well lit and safe feeling. There is also a cute little coffee shop just up and across the street, less than a minute walk. Off-street parking was very convenient. My husband and I were celebrating our first anniversary and Sue left us a little treat to say congratulations, very thoughtful! While we didn't get to meet Sue, her son Derek was very nice and responsive during checkin and checkout.

  • Amber's home was situated in the heart of downtown, connected to the skywalk for the convention center and multiple other downtown locations. For that, it couldn't be beat. The building itself had a lot of security, and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Amber was very flexible and communicative throughout our stay, would definitely stay again.

This condo is nestled between Uptown and Downtown in the heart of MPLS. Safe neighborhood that's a $6 Uber/Lyft to pretty much anywhere you will want to go ( 2 miles to US BANK/1 Mile to Convention Center) Walkable to CVS, Coffee shops, grocery stores, Eat Street and some really great bars and music venues. Quiet building in a bustling neighborhood with plenty of off-street parking (underground parking may be negotiated).
A 1 Bedroom Condo with an open floor plan and modern amenities, large bathroom and laundry. Fully functional kitchen with a crock pot that is great for queso dip and a working oven that makes some great nachos. Smoking is permitted on the balcony ONLY with the patio door shut. Your non-smoking guests will thank you.
Whittier is the best place to be, you are literally smack dab between downtown and Uptown, some of the best restaurants are in walking distance and definitely some really fun bars. Like Pinball? 2 of the best pinball bars are within blocks.

Spacious unit and beautiful views. Across the street from the Convention Center, only a few minutes (walk) to the State/Orpheum Theatre, Target Center, First Ave, U.S. Bank Stadium, Orchestra Hall and is skyway connected to almost all buildings in downtown Minneapolis. When I said the heart of DT, I meant it. Perfect if you don't have a vehicle and/or want to avoid traffic. Bus + light rail options available nearby. Full sized bed for your use, as well as, a twin XL mattress topper, if needed.
Downtown Minneapolis is sprinkled with architecturally interesting skyscrapers, most of which are interconnected, mainly on the second level above the street level, by a growing web of Skyways, now approaching eight miles in total length. This is the perfect location for business trips, as Minneapolis is home to the most Fortune 500 companies in the nation. Nicollet Mall is right down the street and is the main semi-pedestrianized shopping street in downtown Minneapolis.
  • Great location. Plugged directly in the skywalk so going around in any weather is easy. I was there for an exposition at the convention center and you couldn’t be closer to it. Clean with all the necessary stuff in the bathroom, it doesn’t come a lot better than this.

    Bernard2019-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay if you have business in downtown Minneapolis and/or convention center!

    Renetta2018-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Nice space. Parking is a bit confusing but they were very helpful and quick to answer questions. The building is attached to the sky walk, which meant I didn't have to wear a jacket to get to the Hennepin bars! Definitely my #1 favorite thing about this spot. So convenient.

Our garden-level studio is located in the quiet Steven Square neighborhood, steps from the Convention Center, and right on the edge of Downtown Minneapolis, blocks from Eat Street, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, Children's Theatre Company, and more. This cozy basement studio has it's own kitchenette, bathroom, and key-less entry from outside.
This cozy space is located on the garden level of our historic cottage condo unit. We have setup this space especially with Airbnb guests in mind complete with everything you might need, whether you are here for a convention or just to visit! There is a double bed, plus a sofa bed. We way the unit can sleep up to 4 people, but please be aware that it is close quarters for four people.
Stephen's Square is a quiet neighborhood in the center of Minneapolis. We are a short walk or bus ride away from the convention center and downtown Minneapolis, many restaurants on Nicollet Avenue (known as Eat Street to locals), Loring Park, and the Minneapolis Institute of Art. We love living in Stephen's Square because it is close to everything and very easy to get around, but doesn't have all the late night noise of downtown. Some guests have told us it's a bit sketchy after dark, and while we understand the vibe, we both feel comfortable being out and about anytime of the day.
  • I truly enjoyed my stay! Apartment was convenient to public transit, a short walk from the downtown area, and a comfortable, welcoming space -- snacks, drinks, coffee/tea, cooking supplies, etc. Check-in and check-out were easy. Highly recommend!

    Kaylin2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • No complaints. Great location, walking distance to downtown was perfect. Having water, drinks, snacks was very helpful. We were happy to have use of Netflix.

    Joselyn Kaxyek2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • As a bicyclist with a ticket to Rock the Garden at the Walker Art Center, the location was great. The use of air fresheners to address a previous guest didn't work for me, but everything else about this AirBnB did.

    Sean2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • The best place to stay in Minnesota. Close to everything, walking distance from a free museum. It’s clean and they provide so much more than expected. Snacks, free WiFi, shampoo, soap, clean towels, kitchen items, snacks, movies, reading , board games. They thought of everything, microwave. And cutlery, dishes. This place is a must. You will enjoy this quaint place for sure. Room enough for 2 to 3. And it is extremely clean.

    Carla2018-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Perfect for a short stay where you need basic amenities and the ability to get in and out easily. They even had a kitchen stocked with drinks and some basic foods which was a pleasant surprise! The location is very convenient in terms of getting around but not necessarily in the nicest of places so just something to be aware of in case you're sensitive to that (I was totally fine and didn't feel unsafe or anything). Would definitely stay here again - so much cheaper / better than a hotel!

    Alex2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Garvin was an excellent host! He worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed, and the place was easy to navigate!

    Carrie2017-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • Garvin was really communicative and has an amazing website with house rules, check-in information, and a guidebook! This was super helpful in planning our stay. There was also a binder with the same information in the apartment in addition to transit map, historical guides, and other tourist information. The apartment is super lovely, a perfect size for me, my partner and our friend! Garvin had it stocked with breakfast foods, snacks, and beverages and was available if we forgot any toiletries or other essentials. The place was walking distance to the Basilica of Saint Mary and Loring Park, where we went to a music festival, as well as downtown and other fun stuff! Would 100% suggest this place to anyone traveling to Minneapolis.

    Camila2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • The garden apartment was conveniently located to downtown. It was just a short walk to MIA, which we definitely recommend, and around the corner from a nice city park, which was great for kids. The apartment had everything you'd need for a stay in the city.

The apartment is our most antique and classic in the whole mansion. This one packs in a ton of character and makes you feel welcome and comfortable. It is on the main floor and also has its own private entrance from the outside.
The space is much larger than the picture appears. The apartment has been updated with a new kitchen and bathroom with most of the original lighting and woodwork in tact. Please note: one of the beds is in an open
Stevens square is a sought after neighborhood with a great spread of people living in the area. I love being about to get anywhere in 5-10 minutes. It’s also about 20 minutes to the airport which is convenient. Close by is the convention center, target field, target center, and the USbank stadium. Just a few miles away is the University of Minnesota.
  • The space was very clean and stylishly decorates. The queen bed is a memory foam mattress that is very firm. The king bed is a regular mattress and comfortable. The location is great if you love the Uptown, Lynlake and surrounding areas. Would stay again!

  • Alex's apt was so peaceful and stylish. A very open classic Victorian. I was more than happy staying inside relaxing, cooking watching TV. And I usually am one to roam the city. It is walkable to eat street, grocery etc. I will definitely be staying here when I am in mpls. She also has other chic apts in the same building. Hoping to check those out on my next trip.

This apartment is the top floor of the Lasalle mansion ( with a complete renovation!!) and has incredible views of downtown. So, it has stairs to climb- it’s the top floor :) The location is perfectly tucked in between downtown and uptown. It’s neighbors are Loring Park and Lowry Hill east! Walk in any direction and you’ll find something you love!
The apartment is 100% set up for guests. Anything that is in the apartment is for your use ☺️
The apartment is in Stephen Square, which happens to be one of my favorite parts of Minneapolis. At any given time, in any given direction, I can head out of the house and find something fun or exciting or delicious to do… Or eat ☺️ If you’re in the mood for a fancy evening downtown, or a walk over to eat street for some amazing food, or to any of the close by lakes in Minneapolis for a fun outdoor event you can do that, so easily!! You pick!
  • Alex was a very gracious host and was reachable at all hours of the day :)

    Michelle2018-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Pros: - lots of space, easily slept 6 people - nice living room/kitchen area to hang out - wonderful décor and modern interior - full kitchen - easy checkin/check out - easy access to Minneapolis attractions Cons: - less clean than I expected. at first glance the place looks great but once we settled in we noticed dust and dead bugs along the edges/window sills - some blankets and sheets did not smell fresh, had a musky odour/ did not smell clean - bathroom door would make loud noise when opening/closing - not suitable for elderly/ or individuals with mobility issues , located on top floor which had 2 sets of stairs to climb - very limited parking, we had oversized SUV and lots of difficulty parking/entering/exiting - alex's space is good, however the rest of the building looks quite old and run down.

    Connie2018-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend staying here! The check-in process was quick & easy. Alex was responsive whenever we needed anything. Loved the interior design of the apartment & the incredibly soft sheets! Also, this is in the perfect location. <15 minute walk to the Minneapolis Convention Center & plenty of downtown restaurants. Try Eggy’s for brunch & Lotus Restaurant for some good pho or banh mi sandwiches!

    Hong-En2018-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Alex’s place was a very nicely renovated top floor apartment in the Loring Park neighborhood. Had everything we needed! Pictures were accurate to the space - very cozy and convenient to downtown! Was able to walk to Target Field/Target Center or easily Lyft/Uber! Alex was incredibly responsive to the few questions we had upon arrival - a great host as well as great space!

    Sarah2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is the tour de force of downtown Minneapolis apartments. Ideally located, sparkling clean, and cherry ripe for couples, families or small groups. Roomy, cosy, with modern furnishings and appliances, and off street parking which is hard to come by downtown. Even more impressive is Alex — the most outstanding and responsive host who accommodated us in every way possible.

    Grant2018-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Very well decorated space and cozy. Close to town and easy to walk to restaurants and bars. Great space and 2 spacious bedrooms. Large kitchen space and plenty of kitchen amenities available! We felt very safe and enjoyed our visit.

  • We were in Minneapolis for a conference at the convention centre and had a great stay! We were a 10-min walk to the convention centre. The apartment was spacious and had all amenities we needed. The host even provided a fan since it was so warm when we were there. 100% would stay there again.

    Andrea2018-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Alex was a good host and communicated well. The unit is in walking distance to; restaurants, a brewery, and many downtown/uptown sites. The rooms are all a good size and nicely decorated. If you are in town for a short visit, I would recommend staying at this property.

The Whittier neighborhood is one of the oldest in the city of Minneapolis. In the 1800's the area was the choice of the wealthy who built their homes here because the land was at a higher elevation than surrounding terrain and was close to the downtown business district. Many of these homes still stand strong, giving our portion of Whittier the title "Historic Mansion District". Today you will find everything is nearby - Convention Center, three beautiful parks, theaters, museums, dining, groceries, coffee shops, laundry, pharmacy, and shopping - all within walking distance.

  • A. R. and David were gracious hosts. They have a lovely property and are conscientious of the needs of a traveler. Everything was where it needed to be when it was needed. Their communication clear and timely. I found them both warm and helpful. The neighborhood is quite, but with near by access to the hippest part of the Twin Cities. It was a great place to come "home" to after a day at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

    Harold2014-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • A.R. apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. It worked out well for 2 couples to meet in Minneapolis and yet have our own "space". The house has great charm and you can tell it's well loved. A.R. has thought of almost everything, too! Thanks for a great stay!

  • AR's place is a historic gem. From the furniture to the magazines...it all is in tune with the historic interior and exterior. Eat st was a short walk and AR had lots of recommendations for what to eat and what to do. I will definitely return if I'm back in Minneapolis again.

The rooftop is just gorgeous, I only wish we would have had time to grill while we were there. 10/10 would stay there again!

Renovated to match our building renovations. Parking lot side of our building, no busy traffic out your window. Second Floor, with access to the shared amenities. Laundry on site, Fitness room. The common Area has Cable, Wi-Fi, and more! Cable not in suite. Can connect to the Wi-Fi from the suite (strongest in 1st floor common area). 1 outdoor parking spot provided with stay.
Nice updated apartment building with a furnished suite. Great for that home feel for a few days or weeks! 2nd floor, with a small walk from the elevator down the hall.
Great location with easy on and off access to I94 and 35W. 3 blocks to the nearest sky way entrance at Leaminton Ramp, and a quick walk to US Bank Stadium and the Minneapolis Civic Center.
  • Good stay, walkable to downtown. Responsive to a few issues that I had. The common area is really neat - I wish I had taken advantage of it. The gym is a nice perk too!

  • Great stylish space! Well worth the money. Great host

    Bryce2019-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • There are some redeeming qualities to this place. The space is huge! Tons of closet space. They allow pets. There's a gym and club room area, which is cool. And, there's parking. These are all great things to have. It's hard for me to write this, because I've never given less than a 5 star review before, but, I take issue with the serious lack of really basic things... You pay for lots of closets, yet there were no hangers. You pay for a full kitchen, yet there's no pots / pans, nor a COFFEE MAKER. You pay for a TV, yet there's no remote, nor a cable or antenna hookup. So, it's useless. Missing lots of basic things that you need if you're going to be staying at a place for a few days or a week. (no bucket for ice maker, no bath mat or garbage in bathroom, no door mat for wet shoes, etc, etc.) While I wouldn't stay there again, it is a big, clean space near downtown with parking included. I'd recommend that anyone considering this place makes sure that the host has addressed all of these missing things before booking. Best of luck...

    Jeffrey2019-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay! The host's communication about check-in, the tv, etc. was great; the bed and couch were very comfortable; we had enough towels, blankets, and pillows; and the location is awesome. The only thing we wished we'd had was a coffee pot - otherwise we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Clean, updated 3rd floor apt in Triplex with cool layout and natural light. Great location, 4 blocks from the Convention Center, close to Downtown Minneapolis, 5 min drive to US Bank Stadium, Uptown. A Starbucks and CVS is within a 2 min walk. Fully remodeled kitchen and bathroom. Hardwood floors throughout apt. Skylights and windows at the front of the apt give great natural light and views of downtown Minneapolis. This apt is the 3rd floor of a triplex. Tenants live on the 1st and 2nd floors. There is a shared porch off the 2nd floor that provides a great view of Downtown. There is off street parking in the back for 1 car.
Walk to Starbucks, CVS, restaurants. Uber, Lyft to Downtown, Uptown, West End.
  • Comfortable and really close to the Covention center. Pretty convenient for my trip.

  • The space is sunny, open, welcoming and in a fantastic neighborhood. Recommend ed!

  • Our stay here was amazing and the host was awesome. Even for a short time it really felt like home.

    India2018-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place is awesome! Loved that it is only a few blocks from convention center and other restaurants! I will totally come back to this spot in the future! I really recommend this place! And Russell is on top of everything! Thanks man

    Joel2018-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • What is there to add? The place is nigh-on ideal for a business traveler like me. Parking was easy. Entrance to the place involved two lock boxes, but this also afforded me a peace of mind that I appreciated. It is the best place I have ever been to, in terms of the instructions and small, thoughtful touches that make the difference between an awkward and easy travel experience. The place was spotless. Russell planted helpful signs all over the place to find things, get around town, get hooked up to WiFi, and to find any supplies I might need for my stay (blankets, pillowcases, iron, towels, soap). He even threw in chocolates and good coffee beans into the mix, for good measure. The apartment is accessible by two flights of stairs, but otherwise it seems perfect for just about anyone. The property is situated just one block from a neighborhood chock-full of nice foreign restaurants and cafes. The bikeshare is one block away too, so accessing my conference at the convention center (and the excellent 24-hour Nicollet Diner along the way) was absurdly easy. I was able to get from my apartment to Nicollet Mall in 7-8 minutes on bike. I would love to return to this place.

    Fernando2018-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Very charming and clean place. A great view of downtown. Perfect location, I took the bus most places. Near a ton of restaurants (it's called Eat Street!) and convenience items, a CVS is right around the corner.

    Emily2018-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Very good place to stay and close to a lot of things

    Salvador2018-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Russell's place was perfect for us. My husband and I participated in a trade show at the convention center and the apartment is only 4 blocks away so getting there was a breeze. The bed was comfy, apartment was cozy even though it was 5 degrees outside. Burrrr. There are several restaurants within walking fistance as well as a CVS pharmacy. We never felt unsafe in the neighbirhood but there is a outside door alarm and an apartment alarm. Russell was very helpful... Hint:The volume for the TV is on the side if the remote lol We will definitely stay again. 😊

  • This was my first Airbnb experience and it was great! Melissa responded to all my emails and questions super fast and was very nice and flexible in terms of check in time! She even let us store our luggage for a few hours after the official check out time because my flight was not until later that day. The house was great and clean and all of the art on the walls and decorations were very cool! I really loved this place and would definitely stay here again :) Beautiful house with really nice hosts! Love!

  • Akieno was so warm and welcoming. She accepted our request at the very last minute on Thanksgiving weekend!! She made us feel like longtime friends, and she paid attention to every detail to make our stay enjoyable. The apartment was spotless and well stocked. It was also a great location in downtown Minneapolis. Thank you, Akieno! I highly recommend to others!

  • We had a very comfortable and exceedingly convenient stay at K.'s well-equipped and stylish place while attending a conference at the convention center. All of downtown is easily accessible through the skyways - no going out to brave the Minnesota weather. Lovely view of the sunrise, too!

    Christy2017-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Good host in a nice apartment. But the dishwasher didn't work, and the air mattress didn't work properly--lost a lot of air, and there was not a pump, so it took forever to get aired up.

    Braeden2017-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great experience during my stay in K’s place. Perfect for those headed to Minneapolis for a quick business trip. Great amenities & stellar location.

  • K. is a thoughtful and communicative host and her place is wonderful! Perfect location for work and play in downtown Minneapolis. Check-in and check-out processes are smooth. The apartment is sparkling clean, comfortable, and stylish. You don't want to miss out!

    Kaylee2018-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Akieno was very hospitable, even helping us with tips for parking and greeting us upon arrival. We LOVED the location, so close to everything in downtown Minneapolis from dining to shopping. We parked and walked everywhere. The apartment was perfect for 2 people and had a great view of the city. We would definitely stay here again. We did not use any of the building amenities as we were out the majority of the time but if we stay again would love to check out the rooftop and the pool/hot tub and gym facilities. You cannot go wrong with this if you prefer a private place over a hotel.

Surrounded by brownstones, you won't find a house closer to downtown! Our quirky & fun, hipster-decorated house is full of character and personality, but our huge yard is what sets our place apart. While being less than four blocks from downtown, our place features a 1/4 acre, fenced in yard, including fire pit, BBQ, & hammocks! Includes full kitchen, free laundry, off-street parking, easily accessable (close to major highways and bus lines), and just blocks away from downtown.
The entire place is yours! We have a wonderful record collection, lots of craft supplies and are close to everything in Minneapolis! Large yard with fire pit and off street parking for up to three vehicles.
  • gret place to stay of you have a large group. Well located within Minneapolis and on a private street — so its pretty quiet too.

  • This place was awesome! The house is really cute and the outdoor space is amazing (and huge!). There was a useful house manual and little notes around the house to help us with things like the TV and AC. The hosts were very flexible in allowing us to have extra guests stay for a small fee and were very clear in their communications prior to our arrival. The location was also really convenient. I would definitely book this place again.

  • I was traveling with 3 friends and we all had a great staying at Benjamin's! The house has everything (and more) we needed for our staying; it is very close to downtown and a lot of bars/restaurants besides being very convenient for the convention center. The house manual in the living room was very useful. Benjamin and Cassidy are a great hosts: they made sure everything was going well before we checked in and was very responsive with emails. Highly recommended.

    Lisa2018-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Pros: Great location if you have activities at the convention center. Good space for the price Building amenities are nice Cons: Slow communication floors were dirty the smell of cooking food from nearby rooms

    Steven2018-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was clean but rather spartan. The king-sized bed was comfortable. The blinds in the bedroom unfortunately let far too much sunlight come in at 5 a.m., which woke me up and kept me up too early two of the three mornings I was there. Only one side of the bed has bedside furniture. Neither bureaus nor luggage rack were provided to support suitcases; we had to put our suitcases on the floors instead. There was only one light source furnished for the bedroom instead of a lamp being provided on both sides. I had really hoped to use the jacuzzi but when I tested the temperature of the water, it felt tepid. I did enjoy hot chocolate made from the beverage maker in the lobby, which is capable of making a wide variety of beverages.

  • Great place! I was attending a conference at the Minneapolis Convention Center and Reed's place was closer than any of the hotels in the area. It was a quick trip, and I didn't get to enjoy the pool/workout/etc., but I did check them out and they looked great. Thanks for taking care of me, and I'll book again when in MSP!

    Josh2018-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely very walk-able and good location. Overall clean, but we did find items under the couch and ottoman that should have been swept up if cleaning had been done properly. There was some confusion/communication difficulties in regards to check-in, parking, and check-out. Good view and we did have a good time, but there were some details that were bothersome and needlessly stressful.

You can't get any closer to the US Bank VikingStadium and Convention Center. Bus stop right on the block. Within 2 blocks of CVS for convenience. Many coffee shops nearby. A whole strip of international cuisine on Nicollet Ave "Eat Street" -within walking distance.
The studio is on the second floor of a small building, right on the edge of downtown Minneapolis. It's close enough for quick, comfortable access to so many things, but also far enough for peace and quite when you need it.
The roads around the Vikings stadium are closed for the Super Bowl but we are as close as you can get! also very close to Nicollet Mall for the outdoor concerts. food options and bar options nearby are endless. Our place is quiet enough to chill and take a break from the crowds.
  • The location worked well for me. My flight arrived late, and was delayed - the hosts were very accommodating and met me at the apartment. Without A/C it got pretty warm - I kept the windows open most of the time.

    Silver2016-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • I did not have the chance to meet Selam, she was out of town, a friend of her met me to give me the key of the place. very convenient apartment, 5-10min walk from convention center, which is near downtown too. No need of a car to stay Minneapolis for the week. Great.

    Jerome2015-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • This studio was perfect for my weekend of events at the Minneapolis Convention Center. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the Third Avenue entrance to the MCC. You do need to use 15th St. to cross over the highway, but there are sidewalks the whole way. The area is pretty quiet at night, and you might want to see about getting a ride from the lightrail stop in the winter months- it's about a 15 minute walk, so that could be chilly. Selam offered to pick me up at the station, but I had already walked from the station and was happy to do so. The studio itself is perfect for a couple of people. It has high ceilings, and there's a nice open space in the main room for those who would want to exercise a bit- I loved having the space to do some yoga. Though I didn't use the kitchen much, it would work just fine if you wanted to do a bit of cooking. The bathroom has a tub with a shower head and good water pressure. As a host, Selam was lovely. This is her sister Eden's place, so Selam checked me in and Eden picked up the keys when I checked out. Both were warm and laid back, and Selam offered to give me ideas for things to do if I had any free time to kill. This was my first trip to Minneapolis, and I loved every second of it. I will definitely be keeping Selam in mind as a host if I every return!

    Michelle2015-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Very, very welcoming! The place is a 4 mins walk from downtown, without feeling like you are in the downtown proper but in an actually lived neighborhood. Great little cafe two blocks away, Segue, near the CVS. It's a small studio, cosy and livable, creative. I felt happy and calm coming in. It went below freezing and the studio was nice and warm. Hosts were great at communicating, giving tips, and I had all I needed in the house.

  • Selam and Eden were both very kind hosts. I got in late at night and it was no problem coordinating key pick up at the apartment. The apartment was quaint and spacious enough for two people. It was clean and with fresh sheets. The location is great! It is five minutes walking distance to the Convention Center which was extremely helpful since we were attending a conference there. Ten minute walking to restraunts down town. Certainly more affordable than staying at the expensive hotels down town! One thing is that there were no fresh towels when I arrived but Selam and Eden promptly took care of that. Very attentive hosts. Great experience over all!

  • Selam and her sister were very welcoming and provided good communication. They had great recommendations for local food. The listing was pretty close to what was advertised; looks just like the photo. Multi-unit complex is older and not renovated and allows pets. The apartment was perfect distance to the convention center Except for navigating highway exit ramps to get to the convention center else walking a few blocks out of the way to get there, the neighborhood was safe to walk around. If you have a car, let Selam know ahead of time. Finding free 24-hour parking is a little tricky, but very close. There's a nice park 2 blocks away and a great park 1 mile away.
