This is a cosy, comfy double bedroom (Room 2) in a 2-bedroom flat. It has its own private en-suite bathroom! The views from the windows overlook the Centre of Life and other local bars. Located in the heart of Newcastle the apartment gives easy access to grocery shops, restaurants, bars, pharmacies, banks/ATMs, etc. Within approx 5 mins walk to central train, metro and national express bus stations.
This is a modern 2-bedroom apartment in the centre of Newcastle, right opposite the centre of life. Its location is perfect if you are attending for a course, university work or just visiting the area. It is a 5-minute walk from the train and the metro stations (central station). There is a local corner shop (open till late) and a lot of takeaways, restaurants and bars, all within a 5 - 10-minute walk. This is one of two rooms on Airbnb in this apartment. The room is cosy yet spacious. There is a comfy double bed with plenty of pillows. Extra blankets are available for the winter. It has its own en-suite bathroom with a shower cubicle. Shampoo, body wash, toothpaste and towels are provided. You will find ample storage space in the wardrobe and chest of drawers (great for a long-term stays). All windows are fitted with blackout blinds for a good night's sleep and the (closed) windows help keep the noise to a minimum (especially on weekends). The open plan kitchen is combined with the living room. Here you can find plenty of kitchen utensils (pots/pans, oven dishes and cups/glasses). Tea and coffee are provided (not including milk). Feel free to use all these areas, but please remember to leave the communal areas in a clean and tidy manner (as you would like to find it). There is a TV which has all the freeview channels and you can access Netflix/NOW TV etc through it (your own login details are required). There is a large balcony which can be accessed from the living room. (No smoking on the balcony/in the apartment). **Please note apart from the bedrooms, the rest of the space is communal and may be shared with other guests. The Centre of Life is just opposite the apartment, which is popular for conferences and exhibitions. Newcastle's gay district (bars and clubs) are located just in front of the apartment too. Quirky attic room!
I use this room so it has my stuff in it and isn't a long stay room - if I am away it is rented out, sometimes I will be there but only if work has been delay so I stay on the pull out bed in the lounge - often found asleep there even if no-one is stay its really cosy and in front of the TV!
I live in a lively part of town handy for going out and music venues above the Jazz cafe, opp o2 academy & 10min walk to the arena. Fabulous local pubs, coffee shop & bakery on Pink Lane plus all the usual chain establishments.

Hi there! Welcome to my city center flat, a cosy, warm bohemian place just a 5-7 min walk from Central Station, close to clubs, bars, shopping & night life but also far enough away from the noise! Perfect for nights out or nights in! FREE car-park space for one vehicle. Very chill low key place, sofa bed is almost double size. My double bed room and en suite is available at an extra cost, just ask. Perfect for travelers or a quick business trip. LGBTQI Friendly :)
My place is very low key, relaxed and artistic, it is a creative household. You will be staying in my living room on a fold out sofa bed which is almost double size, also with your own private bathroom. Duvet and towels provided. I will be in my room or the kitchen :) _______ Need more room?: If you'd like to have the main bedroom with double bed and en-suite or the entire apartment it can be arranged prior to notice and at an extra cost. Entertainment: You're welcome to use my sound-system if music is your thing, there's a huge desk for studying and working on. PS4 and PC free to use, Wi-FI provided. Brand new studio basement in Georgian townhouse. King size bed, en suite shower room and fully equipped compact kitchen. Private parking. (We also have a double room on the first floor so if 2 couples wanted to come or a family we can accommodate.)
We have recently renovated the basement of our Family home - a 5 storey Georgian townhouse. The basement studio has a kingsize bed, en suite shower room with rainhead shower and underfloor heating. There is a compact kitchen with a fridge, small sink and hob as well as a combi oven - the kitchen is fully equipped. By the window there is a breakfast area with chairs for 2 guests. There is also a small utility room next door where guests can use the washing machine and dryer if staying for a longer period. We have wi fi and a smart tv and storage for clothes. We have been airbnb hosts for 2 years now and are really looking forward to offering this new space.

Located within the Summerhill Conservation Area the flat is situated in a quiet residential area that is occupied mainly by families and professionals. The Summerhill community is close-knit and you will find the neighbours friendly and the area safe. The flat is within easy walking distance of Central Station, St James' Park, Newcastle and Northumbria Universities and the start point of the Great North Run. There are numerous good bars and restaurants a short walk away. The flat comprises of the whole lower ground floor of our four-storey family home. Please note that whilst the flat has its own lockable entrance door access to this is via a shared front door and hallway. The flat has period features including original sash windows, timber shutters and stone fireplaces and benefits from central heating and underfloor heating in the kitchen. The flat has original art works and guests have free access to high speed wifi internet. The spacious double bedroom has a kingsize bed with feather / down duvet and pillows, double wardrobe, storage cupboard, armchair with foot rest and a desk and chair. There are two bedside tables with lamps and the room is also has dimmable spotlights. We are also happy to accommodate up to two young children (under 12 years of age) free of charge on the large sofa in the Lounge (bedding can be provided). The substantial lounge / dining room has a large 7 seater corner sofa and dining table with six dining chairs. It has a 55 inch Panasonic Plasma TV with Freeview HD, Blu-Ray / DVD player (with a small selection of films), Apple TV with Netflix etc (also with a small selection of iTunes purchased films), CD player and an Altec Lansing 2.1 speaker system with aux cable (for plugging in phones, iPad etc). It has two floor standing lamps and dimmable spotlights. The hallway has storage cupboards and additional wardrobe. The flat has all the essential equipment such as iron, ironing board, hairdryer, DAB radio etc The well equipped kitchen has sink, induction hob and extractor, electric oven, combi-microwave, fridge, freezer and kitchen equipment including kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine etc. There is a good selection of crockery, cutlery and utensils. The kitchen has a supply of essential basic groceries for your arrival, including tea, coffee, milk, sugar, eggs etc The shower room has an electric shower, WC, washbasin and heated towel radiator. We provide bathrobes for guests and for stays of less than a week we will provide shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Please note that the shower enclosure has a limited headroom of 188cm or 6'2".
The location is very central but it is also very quiet. Summerhill Square is an attractive green oasis within Newcastle city centre and consists of large 4-5 storey period houses (dating back to the early 1800's) surrounding a small public park and a community owned Bowling Club. Summerhill is the largest surviving urban fragment of Newcastle's early 19th century expansion outside of the city walls and it became popular with wealthy industrialists and merchants who moved away from the then overcrowded and polluted city centre and quayside. Despite being relatively small Summerhill Square has been home to numerous nationally, and internationally renowned figures including writers, musicians, social campaigners and politicians. Perhaps it's most famous resident was Robert Stephenson, son of George Stephenson (known as the 'father of the railways'). Robert has been the called the 'greatest engineer of the 19th century' and is best known for building the Rocket locomotive (Stephenson's Rocket) and for designing the magnificent High Level Bridge in Newcastle, the world’s first combined rail, road and pedestrian bridge. Summerhill Square recently featured in the 2019 BBC TV documentary series ‘A House Through Time.’ In the programme Tyneside born historian and presenter David Olusogo uncovered the amazing 200 year history of the residents of 5 Ravensworth Terrace. These days Summerhill is best known for its attractive and well preserved 19th century housing and it is regularly visited by groups on organised walking tours of the city. It is also known for its strong sense of community and a charity set up by residents known as the Summerhill Trust which organises numerous community events and activities. The community owns much of the open space in the Square and the Trust hosts a community cafe and garden, allotment and orchard (as well as keeping bees). The community owned and run Bowling Club (once frequented by the cricketer W G Grace and once regularly used by Newcastle United's famous centre forward from the 1950s, Jackie Milburn) is rentable for events, meetings and parties and has even become a popular wedding venue.
