Come spend the night in the beautiful village of Corrales! From nature walks to breweries, galleries and more, there is something for everyone. Located 45 min from Santa Fe and 30 min from downtown Albuquerque, we are just outside the chaos but close enough to see it all! Our guest room is separate from our home and art studio and has a private entrance. Inside you will find a space that is very clean, quiet and comfortable. Se habla español. Pets must be preapproved. Sorry no cats.
Our space is a modern oasis in a small village setting just outside of town. The room is walled off from the main house offering you full privacy. My wife and I are very welcoming and flexible. If you need something not listed here or have questions, please let me know!
The village is home to many animals including packs of coyotes. You're very safe here, just want you to know it's possible you'll hear them running through the field behind our home.
  • Christa’s place was very clean and exactly as advertised. She was especially nice with accommodating our two pups. We would highly recommend this Airbnb.

  • This is a great Airbnb find - stylish space in a peaceful neighborhood. Bed was really comfortable and bathroom is large and well appointed. Would definitely recommend staying here for any Albuquerque area travel. We were sad we didn’t have time to explore the walking paths nearby. Coffee and fridge goodies were much appreciated!

  • It was such a pleasure to stay at Cristina’s and Meredith’s house! Everything looked just like the pictures. The space was just as described, very private, comfortable, clean and it was equipped with everything you could think of to make our stay more enjoyable. Cristina was helpful and quick to respond and has such an organized and efficient system for guests. Location was nice in a good quiet neighborhood but not too far from all the main attractions of Albuquerque. Overall I had a very pleasant stay at Meredith’s and Cristina’s home and would definitely recommend the place to others- great price, good location, spacious, and a friendly, attentive host.

You can tell the hosts have put a lot of thought and time into making the stay comfortable and accommodating - Would recommend! Corrales is fun too...Sweet little town. Thanks Cristina and Meredith!

  • Arranged to stay at the last minute as had a change of travel plans. Cristina was super fast to respond and arrange checking in etc. The place is small but well laid out, comfortable, extremely clean, tidy and cozy. Spotless bathroom. Helpful notes dotted about to help with things. Location is peaceful and quiet and near enough to Albuquerque but nicely out of the way. Really pleasant place to stay. A real gem.

Vacation in a small village on the edge of Albuquerque. Located on 4 acres of apple farm balloons will often land right outside the front door! The home has a kitchen, living, and dining area. The bathroom is located in the bedroom. This is a great, quiet, relaxing spot for people as well as traveling animal companions!
Located in a small village 3.5 miles outside of Albuquerque on 4 acres of apple farm this guest home has floor to ceiling windows on one wall. The view of the Sandia Mountains is breathtaking! The home has anything needed. Kitchen, livingroom, bedroom, bathroom, washer and dryer, basic t.v., and wifi!
Corrales is tucked away between Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. The main road is lined with small, local businesses and the Village is rich with culture and heritage. A quick walk or bike ride down our street and you will be at the Rio Grande River. A quick drive 3.5 miles out and you are in Albuquerque. A perfect getaway location!
  • Michelle’s guest house sits in the middle of Corrales, near the Rio Grande River, a third of a mile or so off the main road. The area features much history and the beauty of the Bosque with nice views of the Sandia Crest. Wild turkeys and a great flock of cranes were in an adjacent field during my stay. I would come back just to run my Vizslas on the local acreage, while soaking up the serenity of this home and it’s setting. This is rural old New Mexico that is slowly gentrifying, with new upscale restaurants, live music, nearby coffeehouses, quilt store, and other ‘boutiquey’ businesses in the area. Very pleasant and sublime. Michelle knows the area like the lifelong local she is, and can guide you according to your interests. She can tell if you are infatuated with the ‘Land of Entrapment’ as I am. It was great fun to sip a morning cup of coffee while watching 20 or so hot air balloons pass overhead. The guest house itself is modest, homey and comfortable, with all the space you could hope for. And did I say it was spacious? Kitchen, dining table, living room, large screen TV, and a nice place to sit outside. The queen bed was very comfortable for this very picky sleeper. And by the way, if you find silence appealing, it doesn’t get quieter than this unless you are backpacking. This locale was quiet. quiet. quiet. My experience is exactly what I was looking for.

  • The place is spacious and comfortable. The wi-fi is a little spotty, but I was able to get all my work and emails done that I needed to do. If you're there during the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, this is a great viewing spot. They fly right over head and all around. I was able to get some great photos and videos. There are apple trees in the yard that you can pick and eat in the fall. Michelle is so accommodating and hospitable. I had gotten into a car accident on the way there and messaged her to say I was behind schedule because of it. She was extremely flexible in accommodating me for my changed arrival time and even left some ice packs in the freezer in case I was sore. Michelle also had good recommendations for places to eat. It was very easy going and relaxing place to stay!

  • Quiet and relaxing spot. Great 2 or 3 acres of open space for visiting pups, lots of wildlife for them to watch from a wall of sliding patio doors. Host is friendly and quickly responsive to anything that pops up. This was my first experience on well water, host provided gallon of drinking water upon arrival. Would definitely visit again, looking forward to apple picking in the right season.

La Casita has a queen sized bed and a private bathroom. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, microwave, on the counter stove, coffee maker and a toaster. There is a comfortable sofa, a table with three chairs and a cabinet with drawers. The front has a small porch with seating, while the back patio area has a pergola, dining furniture, and a view of the Sandias. Balloon Fiesta Park is nearby and balloons throughout the year fly over the house. Situated at the crossroads of culture and vistas!
La Casita is spacious and light. There is ample seating and the queen sized bed is super comfy. The WiFi signal is strong and the TV is equipped with Apple TV, so there is access to Netflix, youtube, music and more. Coffee, basic breakfast items, water and soft drinks are readily available. There is dish and hand soap, as well as shower gel and shampoo & conditioner. There is a basket of sundries at your disposal in case you forgot something!
Corrales is a very quiet--which makes it such a nice place to live! Loud music and noise will not be tolerated. We are close to hiking trails and the village itself is small, but there are some great restaurants and some interesting shopping. Don't speed in Corrales, the police enforce speeding in the village.
  • I loved staying at the Casita! I will definitely come back on my next trip to Albuquerque. It is a wonderful quiet little space with gracious New Mexican touches. Everything is just as described, only better.

    Gayle2019-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lynne and Juris are wonderful hosts. They were very welcoming and the Casita was a perfect place for rest and relaxation. The amenities were ideal and the location for my needs was excellent.

    Dave2017-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was a wonderful place that really captures the essence of the spirit of New Mexico and Albuquerque. It is beautifully decorated and the area is quiet and peaceful and far enough out in the country to experience a bit of the wild, but 20 to 30 minutes to anywhere in town. Everything you're looking for in a place to stay. Very close to some awesome dining and great artisan shops. Super views of the mountains as well. Lynne and Juris are super down-to-earth folks and seemed like they would be happy to help with anything you might need, but the place was great and I didn't need a thing.

    Brian2018-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful studio style "inlaw apartment" setup with very gracious and kind hosts. Clean, spacious quarters with many amenities (secure wifi, apple tv, newer television with broadcast channels, all in great working condition most labeled for ease of use ) to make for a very comfortable stay. The view of the Sandia Mnts going to and from the house is alone worth the stay. My partner and I, along with our Pomeranian, visited the area in late summer and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a great space that thankfully welcomes traveling pups without smelling of previous visitors (also thankfully). There are a few things to consider in booking this location. Firstly it is quite a distance from the majority of Albuquerque and if you are traveling with an agenda or find yourself in a rush (i.e. you are not from New Mexico) this may be a factor. Also, the space is very well lit and has wonderful skylights throughout. If the morning sun isn't always a welcome thing while you are traveling then you may want to pack an eye mask. Although, the final night of our stay was a near full moon with a clear sky that filled the apartment with the most amazing moonlight that combined with the peaceful quiet of the surroundings made for one of the best nights of sleep. Highly recommended

    Daniel2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Although we were only here for one night, it was a wonderful stay! Very clean and nice. We wish we had been able to stay longer. Lynn and Juris were very communicative and they even welcomed our white husky!

    Leeza2017-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely, well-appointed little casita in the heart of Corrales, New Mexico. There were thoughtful touches everywhere and the whole place was very clean and well stocked with amenities. Plus, we loved the chickens in the backyard. Lynne and Juris are very welcoming hosts and we hope to stay with them again while house hunting in the area.

    Marilyn2018-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We were so happy to stay at Lynne and Juris's Casita again. It is a beautiful property, very clean, nicely furnished and all the amenities are first class. Albuquerque is a short drive away and you're not too far away from highway access to Santa Fe, as well. We definitely plan to come back.

    Rando And Donna2018-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a gorgeous place in a beautiful spot with all my favorite things, sagebrush, chickens, mountains, and a door that opens to a covered backyard table strung with lights. What more could anyone want or need?

  • We had a wonderful time at Thackery and Yelena's home. Tucked away north of town it a quiet and we'll kept home with access to the whole home for guests. Mike the property manager was gracious and even allowed us to stay an extra day for a extra day price. 10/10 would definitely stay here again. Close to food and a micro brewery.

  • We arrived late on July (Website hidden by Airbnb) our surprise we were able to enjoy double fireworks from the backyard!! First, Rio Rancho, then Albuquerque! Clean, comfortable, and very spacious! Celeste & Joe

    Celeste2013-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Thackery and Yelena's place is beautiful and basically, as the ad suggested, we had the inn almost completely to ourselves. And it's so close to restaurants, as well as hiking and biking in the bosque. The pool table was a nice addition and the rooms are nicely decorated, not to mention exceptionally clean! My wife and I felt completely comfortable and it was a quiet location too. We highly recommend your place to others and will continue to let our family, friends, and others know about it. Oh, and your caretaker, Al, was very friendly, responsive, and shared lots of information with us regarding Corrales. I forgot to mention that the price was tremendous! Thanks for everything - what a wonderful get away for us!

  • We loved our experience at Camino Encantado. My husband and I stayed in the Sandia room and my mom stayed in the Roadrunner. We were all in town for the balloon fiesta. The location is very close to the field and the balloons often fly over the property. The location is great. It is very quiet and peaceful with plenty of comfortable places to gather inside and out. It was nice to feel outside the city, yet be so close to all the city conveniences. The room was spacious and comfortable. We slept great. Thackery and Yelena are excellent hosts and made us feel like welcomed guests. I continue to be surprised at how wonderful airbnb hosts are! We are planning a trip back and hoping to stay longer.

    Molly2014-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Camino Encantado...the room was clean and had a wonderful atmosphere, which reflected the general ambience of the entire AirBnB listing. We had a puppy emergency during on it second night there and Mike and Thackery helped make sure everything was OK (they did the heavy lifting, actually). We wish we could have stayed longer! The only snafu was on my part - I forgot a plastic bag of my dog's business by the door as we rushed to leave. Hopefully Mike got my voicemail and it wasn't too much of an inconvenience!

    Lakshmy2015-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Though we never met Thackery and Yelena, the caregiver Mike was very nice. Clean, quiet, and a nice stay.

Stay in a modern custom adobe home enjoying views of the Sandia mountains! The south wing has your bedroom with queen bed, private bathroom just across the hall and an office/lounge. We love travel and sharing tips and stories. Tom is a certified sommelier and Norma loves cooking. We have lived in Corrales 13 years and can help you plan your visit – from restaurants, wine tasting, hiking, Native American crafts, museums, cooking classes, Breaking Bad sites - whatever your interests are.
Your accommodation is a private wing in the house. Your bedroom features a queen bed with your own private bathroom right across the hall. An office/lounge is on your end of the house for your use. Enjoy watching the sunrise over the Sandia Mountains and in the evening, the sunset glow.
On a quiet cul-de-sac, one-acre lot amongst sage, pine, cacti, apache plume, and desert willow with roadrunners, rabbits, and quail. We are located in the north-west area of Corrales, just 5 minutes drive from the village and 50 minutes from Santa Fe. Corrales is a village just outside Albuquerque that has kept its rural lifestyle, with magnificent views of the Sandia mountains, cottonwoods, adobe architecture, irrigation acequias and agricultural land. To the east is the Rio Grande river, to the south is Albuquerque. Santa Fe is just a 50 minute drive north - an easy day trip. The greater Albuquerque metropolitan area has over a half million people, with Corrales, having about about 6,000 in population.
  • What a perfectly wonderful way to travel: greeted with warmth and enthusiasm; environment and furnishings just as represented online; and all sorts of little amenities we weren't expecting. My wife decided to come along after I'd made initial contact with Tom and Norma, and they welcomed us both with cordial hospitality. We're looking forward to staying with them again next year.

    Dennis2014-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Tom and Norma were very engaging and openly shared about their pictures and tips from traveling around the world. Their home was open and airy and they made me feel quite welcome. They are in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the Sandias mountains that has quite the New Mexican feel with the dusty roads and prominent cactuses.

    Breanne2016-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • It was an amazing stay. We've never felt more comfortable away from home like staying with Tom and Norma. Amazingly comfy bed, great hospitality, beautiful home, and great scones! Never again will we stay anywhere else next time we're in Albuquerque.

    Rodolfo2015-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Tom and Norma are cool people. They have traveled a lot and I enjoyed hearing their stories. Very easy conversing with them. Norma had fresh scones and French-pressed coffee on the counter for me in the morning. I'm an early riser. The home was exactly has described. The accommodations were beautiful. Bed slept like an angel. The bathroom was large and nicely decorated. Everything was functional and available if needed. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Albuquerque.

    Dana2016-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • This adobe is located deep in an amazingly rural (lots of corrals and fields nearby) village just 15 minutes away from the busy Albuquerque proper. Pace here is slow and relaxing. Our hosts were informative and friendly. For those seeking absolute privacy, note that the bath is outside the guest room and the room next door is an active office. We loved the sunken living room facing the great Sandia mountain to the east!

    Hong2016-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying with Norma and Tom in Corrales. Their home is peaceful and elegantly decorated, and offers beautiful views of the mountains. Norma and Tom were engaging and welcoming hosts and we had a blast chatting with them over wine in the evening and a scrumptious breakfast the next day. They are extremely well-travelled individuals with many interests that we loved learning about, and as hosts they had excellent recommendations and made us very comfortable in their home.

    Christina2015-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Tom and Norma were incredibly hospitable and had great suggestions for places to hike, eat, and explore. The pictures of the area do not do it justice-you must see the beauty in person.

    Amy2014-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Tom & Norma were extraordinary hosts for our short time for ABQ's Balloon Fiesta! Before our arrival, they informed us about potential rush hour and Balloon Fiesta traffic, and emailed us directions for a more scenic and less chaotic drive. Upon arrival, they greeted us, and made sure that we had everything we needed, including a list of nearby restaurants, attractions, and activities. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate and spacious, just as the Airbnb photos show. Tom & Norma left coffee and scones for us in the mornings, and welcomed us to use their kitchen and hang out in their community areas. We borrowed their bicycles and had a fun ride around the village. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Note that this beautiful Adobe home does not have a separate entrance for the wing, (not that we mind!) just a heads up. Their home was a perfect place for our stay. We recommend this to anybody else in the ABQ area!

A peaceful rural location on the northern edge of the "big city" of Albuquerque, NM, the Village of Corrales equates to quiet relaxation and a chance to get away from the bustle. Close to Balloon Fiesta Park, it's not unusual for hot air balloons to float quietly overhead. Corrales is a short 50-minute drive from Santa Fe's Plaza, and it's possible to get everywhere in Albuquerque within 40 minutes or less.
Off the main roads in a quiet residential area, this is country living close to the city. Corrales boasts several wineries and is home to many artists with home-based studios. Set on one acre in an established subdivision, this location offers a chance see the stars and mountains, marvel at the coyotes and quail, all just a brief ten-minute drive from the city. The specific space for this listing is The Yellow Room, a single room for two guests with a firmer full-sized bed. If you need more space, please see the twin listing, "A Quiet Space in Corrales: The Blue Room" (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/27963475?s=51). If traveling with a horse in tow, there is a small barn and large, sandy corral on the property, so your horse will be able to stretch its legs. The barn and corral are currently empty. Bold colors and eclectic international decor are par for the course in this home!
The neighborhood is perfect for taking walks and enjoying New Mexico's climate and the outstanding views of the Sandia Mountains. Corrales is wildlife-friendly, so it is not unusual to see rabbits, coyotes and quail in the yard. This is an excellent location if coming for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in early October. In 2017, the winds blessed us and hundreds of balloons floated over the house three out of the fiesta's nine days. It's a quick 15-minute drive to Balloon Fiesta Park on Alameda.
  • Fantastic place to stay. Leigh is awesome and her house is stunning. Beautiful location. Super comfortable. She gave me so many good recommendations for places to visit. A DELIGHT. Will absolutely stay again.

  • I could not have had a better time! This little casita is a perfect experience in a perfect location with two of the most wonderfully gracious hosts you could ask for. The house was pristine with so many thoughtful touches. You'd think these ladies had been running vacation rentals for decades. I can't remember the last time I had a value this good. The grounds are beautiful, the home is beautiful, and the views are beautiful. Love the ample parking and quiet community. You feel like you are deep in the high desert but you are actually minutes from everything you'd need. I arrived well after midnight and everything was waiting for me so that I didn't have to disturb my hosts. I would absolutely stay at this perfect little getaway again!

Its a very relaxing and peaceful area with frequent wildlife sightings such as birds, bunnies and distant calls of coyotes. I stayed here with my daughter and we will return. Thank you for all the thoughtful touches and for creating this space for visitors to New Mexico!!

  • The Sage Guest House was even nicer than depicted in the photos. Sitara had great communication leading up to the stay and during the stay. The guest house is in a great location, both private and not far from shops and restaurants. Great place to walk and take in the Phenomenal views of the Sandia's. No detail was overlooked in the guest house and you could eat off the floor. The towels and linens smelled divine. Thanks for the great stay, Sitara!

  • What a great experience! The Sage Guest House was so comfortable and clean, and Sitara and Sue were really helpful to me and my two boys. We felt truly welcome from the moment we arrived and got great recommendations for restaurants (Flying Star was delish!) and activities (We loved MeowWolf in Santa Fe - great recommendation!). The Guest House is beautiful with spectacular views, great coffee and snacks (which my boys devoured), and visits by a roadrunner and numerous quail and rabbits. The night skies were incredible and were even treated to a rare thunder storm! We can’t wait to return!

Welcome to Casa Girasol, a beautiful spacious and completely private room with lovely sitting area and a queen bed in a classic adobe casa . Private entrance with terrace. Refrigerator. Filtered hot and cold water. Coffee and tea provided . Wifi. En-suite bathroom. Walk-in closet. Scenic walking and biking to Corrales village, restaurants, shops and other amenities.
My house is located in the center of Corrales. It's a five minute drive to local restaurants and breweries and the local convenience store, and about ten minutes from two supermarkets, Walmart and other shopping. It's a half hour from the Albuquerque airport or downtown.
  • A Gem of Corrales; impeccable beauty down to last detail in architecture, design, and placement of art. The floor plan/layout is one of best anywhere. Mike's Casa Corrales is one of best Airbnbs ever!!

  • Great home for comfort and safety!

    Rita2019-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely place to stay while in Albuquerque!! Mike was gracious and friendly. The room is simply gorgeous. Loads of character and charm. It doesn’t feel at all like a room in someone’s home but a comfortable, homey hotel room. The sheets are incredible! The bed is firm but fair. A couple of cozy little chairs to relax in that are every bit as comfy as they are inviting. The bathroom is situated very well to accommodate two travelers who aren’t a couple but are traveling together. The bath and toilet are separate from sinks and the huge closet he has set aside for your use. Makes it SO easy to get ready without feeling cramped. I cannot say enough nice things about mike. He seems to be a good, kind person. Easy to stay there and really wish i had been able to stay longer! I didn’t get to have coffee on the adorable patio!

  • Great Location, beautiful room. Bicyclist's paradise.

    Martin2019-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • The room decor and comfort is as good as one will find on Airbnb. The private entrance is also a plus. Having said this, if fast internet speed is important, be forewarned that the bandwidth is low and is nearly not useable. Also keep in mind it does not have a microwave or TV. If these are not an issue, it is very nice accommodations.

  • Great Location. Great Host. Our stay passed our expectations! Mike is a wonderful host. Highly recommended!

  • We stayed a total of 6 nights during the week of Christmas opting to book an AirBnB instead of staying at my mom's house 10 minutes away in Rio Rancho. Mike's place was the perfect refuge after spending the day with my loving but large family. It saved our sanity to be able to go back to our peaceful room. The room has so many comforts for the price and is located in a quiet and lovely area. Thanks, Mike, we hope to return again in the future!

    Caroline2018-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • Mike’s place was great. We were in town for the balloon fiesta, so we were in and out of the room at very random times of the day. While it is technically a private room you are renting, it’s more of a private mother-in-law suite with a separate entrance, so it feels much more like having your own place. You do share walls so we tried to be quiet and respectful and Mike did as well. Great and cute place to stay, highly recommend.

Unique design, open concept combines living, dining, kitchen and den, incredible views of Sandra mountains, rural, quiet and safe neighborhood, outdoor living with shaded patios and mature landscaping.
To cross the borders into Corrales is to step into another time and place where the stresses of twenty-first century life give way to the grace and pace of another era. Corrales is distinguished by its broad green pastures and orchards, its rich historic and artistic character. Only three miles south from the house you will exit Corrales and you will enter Albuquerque, where is large selection of shops, restaurants and entertainment.
  • This was a work/pleasure trip. Jan's hacienda is simply magnificent! The views of the mountains and terrain are breathtaking! The layout of the home is airy, spacious and at the same time cozy. We really enjoyed sitting on the veranda, relaxing and enjoying the surrounding beauty. The evenings were so quiet except for the howling of the coyotes. That “experience” along was simply amazing! I would recommend this hacienda to anyone traveling to Albuquerque whether on business or pleasure.

    Perry2013-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Jan's home is an amazing space! I've used it now twice for retreats, love it, and can't wait to go back!

    Cory2015-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • My wife, nine month old son and I stayed at Jan's hacienda for 10 days and we were totally blown away! This was the perfect home base for our adventures in New Mexico. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils, the stove/ oven was a dream to cook on. Jan provided us with privacy and freedom to enjoy the entire property aside from his private apartment with a separate entrance. The house has endless nooks to grab a coffee or favorite drink, turn on some mellow tunes and relax! The numerous patios and balcony offer a stunning view of Sandia Peak and the city of Albuquerque. The home seems remote but is only 10 minutes from a major shopping center with everything you'd ever need. If the house is available, hurry and reserve your spot! This place is a total home run! Jan is awesome, he even went out of his way to stay up and wait for our late arrival. We will definitely stay again!!!

    Robert2014-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Unfortunately, I was not able to meet Jan, but my husband said that he was very pleasant. Jan's place is beautiful and we had an amazing time as a family just chilling out in this spacious hacienda. I highly recommend staying here for a quaint desert getaway. I am hoping we can come back and do it again.

    Allie2014-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Both Jan and the house were fantastic. Everything was as advertised and we were thrilled with the house and the gorgeous neighborhood. Very relaxing! The kitchen is built for cooking - what an amazing cooktop. Really, really well equipped. We felt right at home. You can feel the love and caring that was put into creating and maintaining this home. Jan's beautiful photographs add even more to the quality of the house. We would definitely stay at Jan's place again!

Our Casita is a great place to stay to get away from it all. Corrales is filled with great walking/biking trails, art, culture and stunning views of the Sandia Mountains. You’ll love our place because of the outdoors space, the ambiance, and the beautiful surroundings. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers wishing to enjoy a quiet and relaxing experience.
The Casita is very clean. Please make sure you leave the place tidy including taking out the trash and doing your dishes. Please don’t feed the dog on the other property, he is friendly, but for health reasons we ask that you not give him treats. Don't speed in Corrales, it is known for strictly enforcing its speed limits. Please drive slowly on our street and watch for horses, dogs, coyotes, quail, road runners and rabbits. Enjoy and always let us know if there is anything that we can do to help you enjoy your stay with us!
  • My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay at this lovely Casita in Corrales. The house was super cute and comfortable with incredible views of the mountains from the back porch (especially in the early evening when the sunset reflects beautiful colors on the mountains). The house was also stocked with a nice array of coffee, snacks, water and other food items. We happily used some items, and left some items behind for the next visitor. We would gladly return to the Casita on a future visit!

  • I was so impressed by the entire experience. There were so many thoughtful touches on the rental. It was obviously set up with the guest in mind. It was cozy, but didn't feel small, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The couch was comfortable, and there was tons of storage space. The pantry was fully stocked, and Roch told us that we were free to help ourselves to all of it. They had also stocked the fridge with water tea, and healthy drinks. He gave us dining tips, and tourist tips as we checked in, and was just overall pleasant to talk with. The back patio is thoughtfully done, and the view is incredible. It was such a nice view that we decided to hike in the Sandia mtns the first day we woke up. 10/10 would rent again!

    Daniel2019-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Still mornings on the porch with coffee in hand, scurrying rabbits, bird song and the rising sun. Evenings with a glass of wine under a gigantic, twinkling sky with lights of active Albuquerque in the distance. Long walks filled with friendly waves, waging tails and meditative thoughts bring out the peace we all look for in life. This is the place, book it and enjoy what I have come to call home when I’m visiting NM.

  • My husband and I travel quite a bit. We were absolutely delighted with the Casita. Deanna and Rocha were wonderful hosts. The space was sparkling clean, very very well equipped, and every thoughtful touch that we could think of was provided. The patio outback is perfect for watching the birds, the rabbits, and looking at those gorgeous Mountains. We certainly will stay here anytime we come to New Mexico. If I could give this 10 stars I would but it would only let me give it five.

  • This place is perfection. So clean, so stylish, and so BIG. It was perfect for our family of 6. We needed somewhere super last minute and the host was so quick to communicate with us and graciously accommodate us. Would love to stay here again. Thanks a ton!

  • Daniella’s space is great! It is located in Corrales and very close to more than a handful of great local microbreweries, coffee shops, and restaurants. Plenty of shopping at nearby mall as well, and even a great few thrift stores. A farmers market and good grocery stores are nearby too! The place was clean and even more roomy than I expected, a great living room for just hanging out!

    Craig2018-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Place was awesome and Daniella was a very accommodating host. We were passing through on a cross country move and she was super helpful giving us directions in (for a large uhaul) and making sure we could park and leave with ease. The house fit 5 of us no problem, and could easily have fit more. Super clean, comfortable furniture and beds. Location looked to be outside of Albuquerque (for someone who has never been there) but it's actually really close and there's a mall and shops within a few miles. Nice neighborhood to walk around too, lots of people out jogging and cycling enjoying the fresh air. Check in and check out were a breeze, would stay again.

  • We were visiting family, was a great place to stay and have our own space. Exactly as pictured. Has one bathroom, which can be hard with a larger group.

    Stephanie2018-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • A little off the beaten track, which is part of its charm, as that reflects the atmosphere of the village of Corrales itself -- and yet not that far away from a mall and shopping, or the city of Albuquerque. Spacious, excellent for large groups or a family (though only one bathroom -- but with a great walk in shower! AND a tub.) So comfortable and peaceful, and very nicely furnished! We were visiting family in the area, and definitely plan to come back.

    Diana2018-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing! Great costumer service and a friendly host. Make us feel like home! Clean, quite and the best part of this area is the perfect location for biking, running, BBQ, and other out door activities. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone who wants to visit Albuquerque. Daniella and Bryan are the perfect hosts for anyone who comes there and they will make sure to make your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible. Good luck guys, I know we will be back there in the near future :) God Bless You!

The property was nicely decorated and, while preserving its historical perspective, it blended very well with the high tech gadgets available. • This space is more stylish than it looks in the photos. An adobe cottage with plenty of space and everything is a brand new from the paint to the carpet. A Keurig machine is a nice touch as well as a (Hidden by Airbnb) Home speaker with Pandora. It's not a full stove/oven but they have a min fridge, toaster over, microwave and hot plate. We were able to make eggs and toast easily. We stayed here on our way north, it was the perfect stopping place between Flagstaff and Taos. Arroyo Secco is located north of Albuquerque proper but it'a a short (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minute drive to the city and we hopped right on I-25 N. On the drive to the highway we noticed that the surrounding suburb had tons of shopping and that was convenient because my son had forgotten socks so we bought them at a Wal-Mart on our way out.

Come stay in the heart of Corrales in a casita on over an acre on a gated property! Walk to restaurants, shops and bars, run on one of the scenic ditches or ride horses along the Bosque! Feed the cows or alpacas a few doors down or soak in our Japanese hot tub purchased from Ten Thousand Waves Spa in Santa Fe! King-sized bed in separate bedroom plus a sleeper sofa in the living room to accommodate more people. Kitchen has two electric burners and oven, microwave & small fridge. Full shower.
  • A wonderful casita in old Corrales very convenient to shops and restaurants. The outside area was beautiful, with a lovely Japanese hot tub, fire pit and stunning view of Sandia Mountain. The casita was comfortable and well equipped. We traveled with our 2 sons who used the sleeper sofa. When it was out, living space was tight, but doable. The king bed in the master was very comfortable. As we have family in Corrales, we are happy to have found your lovely Casita!

  • We needed to stay away from our home while going through a rough week in our remodel. There were several local options but we feel so fortunate to have chosen Amy and JP's beautiful casita. It is nestled amongst some very old and beautiful cottonwoods. The space is large and very comfortable and beautifully furnished. We found everything in the casita to our liking especially the luxurious king size bed. Amy and JP are warm and so welcoming and made us feel like part of the extended family. One morning we received a text from Amy alerting us to an eagle in the top of a nearby tree. We were thrilled to see it and it was so thoughtful of Amy to think of us. Thank you Amy and JP for being such incredible hosts. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

This little town also has fine dining, great breakfast, and a farmer's market on Sundays. All within walking and biking distance. In the fall, roast green chilies at Wagner's Farm. Have breakfast at Hanna and Nate's. Later, enjoy a beer on the patio of the Corrales Bistro, or have a lovely fine dinner at Indigo Crow. Shop for antique turquoise and fine art at the tiny shopping area downtown. All businesses within walking distance along the tree lined irrigation ditch.
Quiet, friendly neighborhood with trail access to shops, restaurants, and the river! Ask about borrowing bikes, or where to go horseback riding. Private chef dinners using farm fresh vegetables available upon request. Advanced reservation required.
  • I spent a week in this casita with my mom while she was visiting from Germany. It is such a peaceful retreat and the perfect location to stay while visiting the Balloon Fiesta. Not only is it close to the Balloon Fiesta Park, but the front courtyard is perfect for seeing balloon ascensions in the morning and the fireworks in the evening. It was a cozy space to stay in! Extra perk: really friendly dogs and goats roam the property!

  • Nifty converted barn farmhouse. Nice design touches and great location in Corrales and not far from the city. Nice view and good walking along ditches down to the Rio Grande.

  • Rachel was helpful, available and the listing doesn't properly portray how great it is! We were two couples with a 10 month old baby and could not have asked for better accommodations! The house is practically baby proof with all the open space and the perfect amount of furnishings. The walls are thick enough that we were able to sleep through a fussy baby in the next room. If I head back to Corrales I will be staying in this fabulous little casita. :)

    Cristina2013-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Rachel is a great host. The farmhouse is charming and cozy and comfortable. During our stay we had an unexpected snowstorm, and Rachel promptly took care of the small inconveniences that came up. We definitely plan to stay there again in the future.

    Prasoon2019-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • This is a cute quiet casita, nicely tucked away, but near enough to walk to cafes, etc.

    Martin2018-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Rachel’s casita is a wonderful and unique place near Albuquerque, NM. My girlfriend and I stayed for weekend during the Balloon Fiesta and it was the perfect place for it! You could see the fireworks perfectly from the property and if the wind is right in the morning the balloons can land in adjecent fields and open spaces!

Enjoy sharing my lovely pueblo adobe home on an acre of a beautiful desert landscape. The guest suite is on it's own side of the house. You can access the Great Room with fireplace, office w/desk and wifi, kitchen, laundry and back patio for relaxation/dining. Running and bike paths are nearby. A friendly cat lives here. Driveway parking. Its own quaint village, Corrales has local restaurants, shops, and weekend Farmer's Market. 15 minutes from mall shopping and movie theaters
The bedroom accommodates two in the double bed and a third person on the sleep sofa. I love to serve you a continental breakfast of pastries, tea, coffee, juice, and if you want to fix meals here, that is fine, I have a spacious dining room table in the kitchen, and there is small patio table on the portico overlooking the mountain view Also, I've lived in New Mexico 25 years and can answer most of your questions about what to do and see here, in Santa Fe, and around the state.
This is a pueblo-style neighborhood, with houses spaced apart on their acre-size lots. All landscaping is desert xeriscape; we frown on green lawns due to water shortage in the underground water table. You'll see jack rabbits, roadrunners and even a coyote now and then. Get used to sand in your shoes--it's everywhere. But you can't beat the subtle colors and peace and quiet of my neighborhood. Plus, the view of sagebrush and the Sandias is really fine!
  • I want to start off by saying what a wonderful and humble host Carol is. Her lovely home is just a huge plus, beautiful inside and out. She is very inviting and informative on so many things and not only on ABQ, NM. If I could have stayed longer I would. I attended the Balloon Festival Saturday morning and was able to see the balloons from the window in which I slept it! She even woke up early to have ready a small breakfast before taking off at 5am for the festival. There is nothing I would change about my stay with Carol, only wished I had more time. If you're a cat person, you'd love her cat, he is very friendly and so affectionate it's the cutest thing. The home is in a way secluded but is only about 9minutes from major stores and restaurants. Being right outside her home is very private and comfortable to just chat outside in the back or her patio. ABQ is just so pretty will definitely book with Carol if and when I decide to visit once again! Much love, Cynthia

    Cynthia2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Carol was an amazing hostess, she had nice small touches that truly made the stay wonderful. She had a wealth of information about the area and had even printed a coupon for me for the art festival I told her that I was going to attend. The home was clean and check-in was easy. A great place!

    Heather2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Besides having a beautiful home, Carol was a fabulous host!! You will not be disappointed!!! She was beyond accommodating to our every need and crazy schedule. We can't wait to find an excuse to go back to Albuquerque just to spend time with this amazing woman.

Exclusive Southwest Vacation Home, Wonderful private home on a cul-de-sac in a great neighborhood with unobstructed views of the mountains and sunsets. 2 bedroom, 2 bath, fully loaded up with everything you need including DirectTV and WIFI. Tile and hardwood flooring with carpet in the bedrooms. Completely remodeled recently. Covered back patio with comfy seating and a fire pit. Walled back yard for the pets. You will feel right at home here.
The home has a copper metal roof and brand new windows. We completely remodeled the home in 2017 with all the newer amenities. The bars on the windows and doors are just a southwest style not necessarily for safety, however, you will feel safe because of them.
The neighborhood is very established and quiet. Neighbors are great and they know about the vacation home.
  • Gorgeous 2-bedroom, 2-bath with a 2-car garage and all the amenities, as well as a great outdoor area to grill or just relax. Jenny has a true eye for design and her place is absolutely beautiful and squeaky clean. Do not hesitate to stay here. We didn't want to leave and hope to be back!

  • We were a group of 4 adults. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and outdoor space. The kitchen was well-stocked and great for preparing food and cooking in. We also loved the walking trail nearby. And, we found the neighborhood and house to be very quiet and safe. There are grocery stores and other shops nearby. Jenny was wonderful to work with and she was very responsive to my inquiries. We would stay here again!

    Phyllis2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny’s place is centrally located, clean, and has everything we needed to be comfortable. Jenny was easy to get in touch with and her place is exactly as described. There’s also a great path walking distance from her house with beautiful views - definite plus!

  • This place is awesome for large crowds. We had 13 people and everyone had a bed. Each room was uniquely decorated. She had plenty of dishes and things for a large crowd. We also had a few toddlers with us and she set up a baby pool for them and has a nice fenced in area for the children. I would recommend this home for a reunion or anytime you have several people for a get together. We were all pleased. The host was welcoming and friendly.

  • Bill’s and Melissa’s casita is a lovely adobe located in s beautiful country setting with stunning Mountain View’s and near numerous walking and bicycling trails. It is also less than 15 minutes from a major mall and nearly any store or restaurant you could want. The casita is very comfortable and nicely appointed. I slept like a log as the house and surroundings are very quiet. I loved sitting on the porch and watching the mountains and general, beautiful scenery. Bill and Melissa were easy to contact and responsive. I highly recommend their place.

    Alice2018-07-31T00:00:00Z

  • I was lucky enough to find this fabulous casita for my sister and brother-in-law who came to visit. It is a gem! Here are her comments: We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home-away-from home so much! It met all our expectations and was exactly what we were looking for! Very well appointed; had everything we needed. Best part was waking up to the view of the mountains and the horses and the sound of the rooster. Spectacular; just loved it!

  • This casita is lovely and situated in a gorgeous, serene setting with stunning mountain views, The casita is fully equipped as Bill and Melissa seem to have thought of everything. I only wish I could stay longer.

  • Nice, quiet, beautiful place with a good view. Excellent house with all you need, with privacy and peace of mind. The pictures don't do it justice, in reality, it's much more beautiful. Bill was fast to help and answer questions. I stayed for 2 months, so I've had time to find all the good things and all the bad once, my only remark is that the water presser in the shower was a too low for my taste, but that's it, the place is good as home. Very recommended and I personaly will be getting back soon.

Stunning backyard has spectacular east facing views of the Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande Bosque. Relish in the tranquility of a morning sunrise or balloons dancing across the sky. Don’t be surprised if a balloon lands in the yard! We have been fortunate enough through the years to have many balloons land along the road. Great for wedding guests from out of town, family reunions or friends just getting together.
Quiet community. Great and friendly neighbors.
  • Coby and Denise, we absolutely loved the home! Thank you for sharing this gem with our family. Cherished the smaller, quiet community for our stay instead of our usual hotel stay in Albuquerque proper. What a blessing! Loved also taking the grandkids to Albuquerque Aquarium and Botanical Gardens (don’t miss this with kids)… Enjoying our old faithful Garduno’s restaurant, Pueblo Harvest for Thanksgiving dinner, but also enjoyed making food in this beautiful kitchen… New Mexico breakfast casserole, cookies, and lots of tea and coffee. God bless you both. Hope to see you again soon! The Harris’

Cozy adobe home with room for the whole family! Tile floors, 2 fireplaces and a pellet stove to cuddle up in front of. Large kitchen w/ stainless steel appliances & granite. Sleeps 6 to 8 easily. 6 miles from Balloon Fiesta Park, 20 mi to ski area.
Large adobe home on 1 acre property, with lots of room for parking or even an RV. Wheelchair access to the ground floor only, but note that the driveway is crushed gravel. Since both full bathrooms have bathtubs you must step over and into, they are not really suitable for mobility-impaired guests at this time.

  • Big and beautiful!! Chip's place was spotlessly clean, with warm welcoming touches. Check-in was a breeze and communication was prompt and polite. His place has plenty of room for everyone in my large family to have their own space and large, comfortable common areas to hang out in together. Nice quiet neighborhood. We loved our stay!

  • We had a wonderful stay in (Email hidden by Airbnb) munications went smoothly from start to finish. The host greeted us upon arrival with a nice informative tour of the property and a lovely gift basket full of NM goodies. We spent most our time in the back yard enjoying the peaceful, welcoming, and very comfortable seating options. Chip cleaned the water fountain before leaving us for the night to make sure it was working at its best. Our dogs also loved the back yard and it offered a safe and secure area for them to play with each other and explore all the new scents. All areas of the home are well appointed, spacious, and we lacked nothing while there. The location is prime for taking in the Corrales/North Valley restaurants, winery’s, walks along the river, etc… I would highly recommend this home and host family for anyone considering a visit to the Corrales area.

  • Wonderful large house with many great living spaces. It easily accommodated our three couples providing plenty of common and private space. The kitchen was well equipped and enabled us to prepare enough food to host a small, pre-wedding barbecue dinner for 17. The patio was our favorite spot; a relaxing space with lots of furniture where you can sit for hours and stare at the hummingbirds zooming around the garden. Chip and Linda live nearby and were very responsive when we needed them. We would definitely return to this rental.

    Jeff2018-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • This home is beautiful and extremely spacious. My wife, 4 children and I had an excellent time. My mother in law and friend also stopped by for a couple of the nights we were there and there was plenty of room to accommodate them. A larger group could also enjoy the home easily. Very clean. All amenities needed including various tvs,DVDs, 2 fire places and a toasty pellet stove. Kids had a blast. Very family friendly. Chip was an excellent host and was always easily available if we needed anything. He graciously extended our stay an extra night without hesitation. The location was perfect as we really did not want to stay in the city, but wanted to be close to it at the same time. Only a few minutes away was a mall and other grocery stores. Albuquerque is right there. We went to various locations in town with no trouble at all. Literally nothing bad to say about our experience. If you are looking for an excellent vacation home, please give Chip a try!!

  • Very beautiful home with a wonderful, relaxing back yard. Owners are very accomodating and make you feel welcome. Located in a very central area to shopping and sightseeing.

  • Chip and Linda were wonderful hosts during our recent visit for the Thanksgiving holiday. The home was decorated for the holiday and it certainly was cozy and hospitable as were our hosts. Chip and Linda greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of their lovely home. The pictures do not adequately capture the beauty of this adorable adobe home. They left us wine and snacks to enjoy and were very responsive to questions via text message. They made sure we had serving platters for cooking during the holiday, wood for the fireplace, and pellets for the pellet stove that kept the house nice and warm. Linda could not have been more welcoming in sharing her home with us. We appreciate the insight into local places to eat and visit as well as passes to the local art show. This was such a wonderful place to spend time with my brother and his children over the holiday. There was lots of room for them to run around outside and plenty of room inside to accommodate two families. We cannot wait to visit the cozy adobe in Corrales again very soon!

This is, quite simply, the most spectacular home in all of Corrales. It is a converted church, which has been tranformed into 'farm loft' living. An elegantly appointed massive space, ideal for large gatherings. Over an acre of manucured and gated grounds with spectacular views of the Sandias. It seems that a lot of folks like to get married here. We’ve had several weddings lately. Love to have you and your guests!
In addition to being the most architecturally stunning home in Corrales, the amenities are too many to list: Huge fire pit, an acre of manicured grounds. 2,000 square feet of patios and decks. Golf chipping range in back yard. Hammock. Zip line.
Corrales Village is an idyllic New Mexican town. Right on the Rio Grande River, it’s full of galleries, shops and delicious restaurants.
  • Great place for family gatherings

  • I was in New Mexico for my birthday, and Nick's house was the perfect place to stay for a large group or family. The location and neighborhood were great, he has an amazing backyard and plenty of space for everyone. We chose to cook dinner one night, and his kitchen is well stocked with amenities needed if you choose to cook. Both Nick and his property manager were responsive and quick to answer questions during our stay.

  • The house is the same as the photos, it’s very big and pretty. Unfortunately it wasn’t clean at all and that’s the reason we couldn’t stay in the guest house. The closets, the refrigerator and the bathrooms were full of the owner’s stuff so we couldn’t use them to unpack our things. They left nice cookies and champaign.

Amazing Views. House sits on a hill in North Corrales. Great views of the Balloons and many land in open space near home. My place is close to restaurants and dining and family-friendly activities. You’ll love our place because of the views, the location, and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
  • Todd and Raquel's spot, high in the hills of Corrales, is utterly breathtaking inside and out, and their hospitality is delightful. I was welcomed by a lovely handwritten note from Raquel (the family was away when I arrived) detailing all the particulars. The bedroom and bathroom are gorgeously appointed and sparkling clean. Thoughtful amenities, from an array of soaps and shampoos, toothpaste, and even Q-tips and tiny nail files grace the bathroom, with its lovely rain-shower feature. Morning coffee on the wraparound terrace as the sun rises over the Sandias is magical. The place is surrounded by a symphony of birds, including quail, hawks, mockingbirds, and even the family's rooster (named Steve) and some hens. Guests have the use of the enormous kitchen (which also features a broad selection of morning coffees) as well as the family gym, and a fabulous home theater, which was perfect for curling up and catching films I hadn't seen on the big screen. The pool and hot tub were out of commission during my visit, but they are set in the lusciously green back yard overlooking the valley. It must be wonderful under the countless night stars! Todd and Raquel's young children were away during my stay, and their parents tell me the atmosphere is more lively when the kids are around. Todd and Raquel are excellent hosts, and I would recommend their space to solos, couples, and families. I look forward to returning.

  • Oh my goodness! From the beautifully decorated home and fabulous view to the above-and-beyond touches, hospitality and quick, helpful communication, this location was perfect!! We celebrated two birthdays during our stay. Mike and Diane surprised us with birthday balloons and a welcome basket filled with nuts, chocolates, sparkling water and champagne. The bathrooms had extra items and special lotions available. The house is both stunning and fascinating with delightful artistic touches everywhere you look, inside and out. The veranda was a cozy gathering area for us to grill, talk and even catnap. What made this even better was how accommodating, accessible and helpful Mike was from start to finish. My daughter left a phone charger behind and it was in the mail to us the next day. I would HIGHLY recommend this location and only hope I get to visit again.

The specific space for this listing is The Blue Room, a single room for two guests with a softer queen-sized bed. If you need more space, please see the twin listing, "A Quiet Space in Corrales: The Yellow Room" (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/28083971?s=51).
  • Leigh’s home is lovely and inviting! The bed was amazing... we slept very well. The entire home is super clean. Leigh made us feel at home and was such a pleasure to meet. We will definitely stay with Leigh again!

  • The stay was quiet, nice neighborhood out of Albuquerque. Easily accessible to area attractions. Leigh was very helpful with info on area.

  • Corrales is beautiful and this place is in perfect location to walk to everything!

  • Thackery and Yelena were very helpful as was their caretaker Mike. We had some delighful conversations. We loved the location with its timeless feel yet close to neighborhood restaurants, walking trail along the acequia, and proximity to Albuquerque and major shopping areas.

  • Camino Encantado is a unique place > it's quiet and sits along a canal in the heart of Corrales. There are several restaurants CLOSE BY - but also retail shopping 'down the road' in ABQ and Rio Rancho. The location is ideal. The East Terrace Room has a patio and the back door opens to a large, landscaped garden-yard. SCENIC! My stay was over a month - it was a great!

    Mary2017-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely find! Quiet, clean, with everything you need! A great place to unwind, walk along the canals, walk to wonderful restaurants and shopping in the heart of Corrales. I love that my two dogs are welcomed and they love the enclosed courtyard and the walks along the canals! Very thoughtfully decorated and all the right little touches that make this such a wonderful place to stay! The price is unbelievable and makes it an even better find! Near enough to ABQ as well as Santa Fe to do touristy things in both places, too. Can't wait to return!

  • The host made me feel very welcome, inviting me in, and even helping me with luggage. The place was even nicer than the listing led me to believe. I really enjoyed the village 'vibe' of this community. I truly enjoyed the wonderful room I was in. I really enjoyed things like the kitchen, the dining area, and living room. I had the ability to socialize, or to retreat to my room or other part of the house to work or read. The courtyard in the back is very nice, and offers a particularly nice place to read, chat, or view the night sky. A particular highlight was the 'community' of different guests. I had a great time, but also was able to get a lot of work and reading done. All of the places that I needed to go were conveniently located, but sufficiently removed - so as to preserve the 'vibe'. Really an excellent space to stay in.

    James2016-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great setting in a lovely community with horses at every corner, a great walking path, beautiful back garden. Had a great time!

    Sarah2016-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • A friend and I stayed here during the Balloon Fiesta and it was the perfect location. One morning we woke up and the balloons were floating right above the house. This was a very warm and beautiful home with lots of different rooms to stay in. Our room had a private bath and private outdoor patio area. It would be perfect for a romantic getaway.

    Nicole2013-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Corrales is a unique community just outside of Albuquerque with an equestrian focus. I appreciated that there is a trail behind the house that follows the canal and it was being actively used by equestrians, people on bicycles and people walking/running. The house was lovely and very spacious. Both the host and the onsite caretaker were exceptionally responsive and gracious. As for the accommodations themselves, with some additional attention to the finer details necessary for maintaining a guest house, this is a comfortable accommodation. Large groups/families would benefit from staying here if they'd like to all stay under one room.

  • Awesome place, will definitely be staying again!

  • As a travel nurse, it can be challenging to find the right locale, right price, and right resources. Camino Encantado hit all three square on the head. My room was extremely comfortable with just the right amount of closet and storage space as well as a small fridge in the room. As a bonus, there is not only a large fridge in the kitchen but another fridge and upright freezer in the utility room. As someone that preps food a few weeks out, this really helped me stay healthy and on task. Although I didn't make as much use as I should've rose covered courtyard garden was very peaceful and the perfect place to start the morning. Mike keeps the place neat and made me feel very much at home. The library is also a handy resource for New Mexico travel books and magazines. It's also close to an excellent gym, Designer Bodies just down the street. Good food, entertainment, and walking trails surround the place. For a day shift traveler, it hit all the sweet spots. If I'm every in Albuquerque again, I will definitely stay here again. Many thanks for the hospitality and making a challenging assignment much smoother.

  • Camino Encantado is the finest place we have stayed at on a long term basis ever. We live in Arizona and have found it necessary for the past 5 years to "Get Out of Dodge," so to speak to avoid the oppressive heat. Everything at this location is superb...The rooms are spotless, amenties are excellent, and a Kitchen that includes all utensils for preparing meals. This location also includes a great courtyard for morning coffee, and a very expansive garden and gazebo that add to a restful, and wonderful stay.. The caretaker Mike was very kind, and helpful.. This location is situated in a town of 9000 inhabitants and 3000 horses...a sort of "Country in the City," atmosphere. Walking trails, and bike trails are among the many pluses available to guests staying at this location. The owners, Thackery and Yelena are most gracious. We fully intend to stay at the Camino Encantado for 2019 and beyond....

    Michael2018-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Thackery And Yelena have a wonderful home that was the first bed and breakfast built in Corrales. The room was very nice, the living room and dining room very spacious and well-furnished, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed checking out the nearby wineries, international balloon museum, and petroglyphs. Corrales has a small town feel, but is very close to all the big city convenience.

    Ryan2013-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • The Road Runner room was a great stay. It was clean and in a quiet neighborhood and the house was beautiful! It was exactly as advertised except that the hot tub was not actually up and running, which was a bit disappointing. The host was nice and accommodating. Very comfortable.

    Rosie2014-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Thackeray and Yelena are great hosts and very welcoming. You don't get just a nice room (with wifi) but a whole house, lovingly decorated, in a beautiful setting. Cats and dogs are welcome, you have landscaped spaces on the property to enjoy, and Corrales is nice place to explore. All at a bargain price! But guests have to do their part: you keep your room clean yourself, and you clean up after yourself in the kitchen. Yup, you take out the trash. But that's not much to ask for, for an affordable, comfortable place to stay for a couple of days, weeks or months. I highly recommend Camino Encantado.

  • This was a perfect place to stay in or around Albq. Thee rooms are spacious, clean & have all the necessary amenities. The common area both in & out doors are all done in good taste. The host is friendly & personable without being intrusive. The price per room is one of the best, if not the best, in all the Albuquerque area. The kitchen is great too. Nothing is perfect but I do not have any negative comments about Camino Encantado! No I'm not a relative & never met the manager or owners before my stay. In sum, it was a great stay!

  • Mike & Thackery were incredible hosts. They greeted us and introduced us to the amazing place that is this Airbnb. The place was HUGE and decorated beautifully. The room itself was likewise- roomy with more than enough space for two. The bed was comfortable and clean. Walk in closet was definitely a bonus. We especially loved having the laundry room to use as we were road tripping for quite some time. Overall, this place is a steal for the price and delivers.

Can't say enough good things about this place or the caretaker Mike or the owners Thackery and Yelena. They have made this an absolutely perfect retreat for my cat Bonny and I! Recommend HIGHLY!!

  • Lovely host with nice touches! Small and lovely. The only detraction is the clear bathroom door.

  • I scheduled this Airbnb for my in-laws' wedding anniversary. This was their first Airbnb experience and they had a great time! My mother-in-law said it was very peaceful. The location is perfect for the Balloon Fiesta and Robin was a gracious host. The scenery was beautiful and they could see the hot air balloons from the house.

    Jordan2015-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Robin is the perfect, very sweet hostess. She gave me the rundown of events happening in ABQ during my visit, and went out of her way to make me feel welcome in her Corrales Compound. The Casita stocked with coffee, hot chocolate, fresh raspberries, sparkling water, italian soda, yogurt, granola, chips, salsa! Bed very comfy. I saw Hot Air Balloons right from the yard. Spotted a few roadrunners. Within walking distance of the Corrales downtown area with shops and restaurants. Corrales really has a small town country feel but is very close to Albuquerque amenities. Best of both worlds. Thanks Robin!

    Allegra2016-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Robin was a wonderful hostess and her casita ("Robin's Nest"), which is located behind the main house, was delightful. Well-stocked refrigerator, fragrant soaps and fluffy towels. The casita is a short walk to a 600-acre nature preserve along the Rio Grande. Finally, the Village of Corrales itself is both sophisticated and quaint, an easy 15 minute drive to downtown Albuquerque. Highly recommended!

    Charles2016-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at Robin's nest -- the little casita is a gem, and Robin herself is a generous, gracious, and kind. The casita is clean, quiet, well-appointed, and comfortable: she had the place stocked with chips, salsa, bananas, apples, scones, sparkling waters, and cream for our coffee. The towels and bedding are high quality, and there are fantastic views of the mountains through the many windows or from the porch. Robin was so kind and communicative throughout our stay -- she told us she was making banana bread, and left a slice for us on the porch table in the morning :) Delicious! It's the ideal location for the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta -- Corrales is a charming town, and as you can see the balloons rise up in front of the mountains from the yard. Robin let us use her two bicycles, so we parked closer to the fiesta grounds and biked in to avoid the traffic and parking hassle. You can also use the bikes to easy pop over to the market just up the street. We will definitely be back and I'd recommend Robin's nest to anyone coming to Albuquerque or to anyone who wants a restorative trip to the desert.

  • Robin is warm, friendly and will do anything to make her guests feel welcome. The location exceeded expectations., The casita is charming and tastefully decocrated. We came for the International Balloon fiesta. By stepping into the courtyard it's possible to see 600 hot air balloons. Great location. Fell in love with Albuquerque.
