We can accommodate two guests. Our place is close to parks, restaurants, nightlife, and downtown. We are seasoned Airbnb hosts having been in the game for a three years now. You'll love our place because we are awesome hosts!! Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We do have two large dogs: A Greyhound mix and a Great Dane. There is a bakery that is amazing next door. This is a great location to start brewery hopping. We have been doing remodeling again
The Airbnb room is located on the first floor. The room is a decent size, with a pillow top, queen mattress, a T.V. Programmed to Netflix, a mini fridge, a keurig , multiple pillows and a feathered down blanket. The room also has a large closet with plenty of storage space for luggage. It also has plenty of hangers, extra pillows and blankets. We provide clean towels, wash rags, city guides, books, high speed WiFi, assortment of k-cups for the keurig, creamers, and bottled water. WiFi information can be found written on a picture frame hanging on the wall. We have a smart lock, so you will be provided an individual code at the time of check in, which will automatically turn off at noon the day of check out. Your room is located right next to the bathroom. The bathroom is a shared space and quite small but we do have a large double head shower head, that adds a bit of luxury. There is a second half bathroom on the second floor if needed, but we do work around our guests schedule for bathroom use. We do have the goal to re-model our bathroom this year. As for the rest of our home, you may enjoy any part of the main floor or laundry area in the basement. Cook away in our kitchen or lounge in the living room. We have plenty of board games, movies, an iron, and ironing board . we do not mind showing you where everything is, you just have to ask.
We are smack dab in the middle of East Town, East Grand Rapids, and Heritage Hill. Some people are sketchy to go south of here, but this is Grand Rapids. Our worst street is still walkable at night. If you want to see beautiful 100+ year old homes then venture west about a mile and take a look at Frank Lloyd Wright's home (Meyer May House). If you want to see lavish homes in Grand Rapids, head to Gas Light Village a mile east. If you want to be in more of the party town with great food and drinks, then head north a mile to East town or venture downtown. There is an amazing bakery next door for coffee and food including lunch and breakfast that has draft beer and great wines. The neighborhood is pretty quiet. I have not had any complaints yet. This is not the Bahamas, but it is not the South side of Chicago either.

  • Joseph was a kind and gracious host! The room was clean and there was plenty of parking. Great option for a quick stay.

    Brooke2016-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Devin and Joseph’s place is so beautiful. The bed is very comfortable and so are the pillows! They have a coffee pot and mini fridge right in your room, as well as a tv and lots of information on things to do in the area. They really make you feel welcome, it’s like staying at a friends house. If you’re looking for a great room at a great price look no further. This was our second time staying, and it won’t be our last :)

    Alyssa2019-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first airbnb experience and it went great. Devin and Joe were very easy to get in touch with and everything went smoothly. The room was great and worked out perfect for a quick overnight stay in GR!

  • Sammi, their pup was in immense amounts of pain upon my arrival and they still did everything in their power to welcome me with open arms, direct me to hot spots around town, and even accommodate my late arrival and next day checkout. I was very impressed with their positive, welcoming vibes and would enjoy staying with them if I ever travel back to Grand Rapids, MI.

    Kennedy2016-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent as always!

    Leah2017-04-13T00:00:00Z

    Jeff2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Devin and Joseph were very accommodating hosts during our short stay. They were friendly and knowledgable about Grand Rapids, offering places to go and things to do while my boyfriend and I were in town. The house was comfortable and conveniently located to some fun restaurants. The dogs were adorable!

Firstly his house is amazing and the room, the bed, the bathroom, the kitchen all is up to a 5* standard! Just perfect! Secondly, he welcomes you and is so kind it really makes you feel youve just come home to your own brother, honestly I am lost for words!!! If you are looking for a place to stay in Grand Rapids, DO NOT LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! The location is perfect also, shops/convenience stores are seconds away!! Thanks Jesse for everything - You really have exceeded expectations!!!

Come enjoy a cozy room next to Martin Luther King Park and less than 3 miles from downtown Grand Rapids and a variety of restaurants, breweries and coffee shops. License Number: HOB-17-0218
The room is on the 2nd floor, straight past the stairs. It has a twin sized bed. My home has air conditioning in the summer and heat during the winter. The bathroom is shared and I provide towels as well as basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and body wash).
My place is located in the South East End neighborhood which is largely residential with a lot of churches spread throughout. It's also home to Martin Luther King Park which has basketball courts, a baseball field, tennis courts, a children's play area, a pool (with summer hours) and a farmer's market on summer weekends.
  • Nice people and a great value. Nice bed and the bathroom was nice and clean.

    Geff2019-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Terrific choice of a home with turn of the century Grand Rapids amenities such as tiled bathroom floors, a laundry chute and more - very close to East Grand Rapids, Reeds Lake and architectural gems of homes built in the early 1900s. Young couple is great about communicating and the breakfast spread is outstanding!

Peaceful home on the SE side close to parks, restaurants, and coffee shops. This home has everything; great host, welcoming atmosphere, and a place to rest! The room has a twin bed and can accommodate a comfortable air mattress. Great for solo adventurers, business travelers, and those wanting to check out this great city. Located in a diversely-vibrant neighborhood, 5-10 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from the airport by car. Close to public transportation as well.
Your Room The room is conveniently located on the first floor next to the half-bath and the kitchen. You'll have a TWIN bed with fresh linens. The room can easily accommodate an air-mattress for an additional guest. The room also has a shelf for storing items, a bedside table, and a decent closet complete with hangers. Guest also will be given clean towels and washcloths for their stay. **Please note that if you are booking for the Summer Months (July - early September), temperatures can be in the 90s. This house does not have central air, but guests are provided with a portable air conditioner to cool down the space. The House I enjoy opening my home to friends and family as well as hosting sing-alongs, dinner parties, and porch sitting. Grand Rapids is great and I'd love to help you get the most out of your stay in this great city. This is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware for you to use anytime. Fridge and shelf space are also provided should you want to store some groceries. My hope is that you would feel at home, so I encourage use of the dining and living room as well. Space in the bathroom is also available for guests. Guests also have access to laundry and basic toiletries. If you need anything additional (lint rollers, safety pins, etc.) don't hesitate to ask.
Close to coffee shops, restaurants, and a bakery. Safe running and biking routes. Close to a park with playground and swimming pool. The neighborhood is a somewhat-older, working class neighborhood with a wonderful, culturally diverse feel.

License # HOB-15-0114 We have a comfy, quite, Eastown happenings home right in the heart of it all. We live on a main street for bikers, runners, walkers and Aquinas College visitors. We have plenty of safe ticket free off street parking.
Our Eastown home is a perfect location for Eastown and downtown visitors, we are very close to the restaurants food and bars. If your visiting downtown and want to park your car and take an Uber this is the place for you.
We love being close enough to ride our bikes or walk, to a variety of restaurants and local attractions.
  • Had an amazing stay. Really appreciated being able to pick up our key & drop our stuff off prior to check in. Was an absolutely lovely space, much more private than expected. Comfy bed, great tv, clean bathroom & a good snack selection. Thank you!

  • Mona was very courteous and welcoming. Unfortunately we were not able to meet Joe as he was not present when we arrived. We were out 'til late and didn't have to worry about finding parking as there was a spot for us at the driveway. Room was well decorated and homey.

  • Mo was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and private and the hose is in a GREAT location.

    Mary2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • All of the afore-written reviews are "spot on", so I won't repeat. I will add that JoMo absolutely went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Their warmth, concerns re house temperatures to our satisfaction and the kindnesses that were extended were amazing. Their recommendation for a specific ethnic restaurant was excellent. The signage on the bedroom door reads: "Welcome, Enter as strangers, leave as friends".... we did just that! We highly recommend JoMo. You, too, will have an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

My house is less than 2 miles from downtown Grand Rapids and is in a very walkable area with great dining and shopping! You can even walk to the farmers’ market and make yourself a gourmet meal in the large fully equipped kitchen if you would like! For those of you who like to workout, I have both the Peloton bike and the Peloton Tread. Come try them out. You will be amazed! Please note, the bike requires shoes with SPD clips.
Built in 1912, my house was once considered one of the most unique homes in Grand Rapids (I have the newspaper article from then to prove it). After years as a college dorm, a rental property, and finally a two family home, I have been restoring The Big Orange House (as I like to call it) to its former glory. I love this home and I hope you will as well! Follow the transformation of this historic home on Instagram @AHPrangeHouse
Eastown is a 70 square block area of Grand Rapids, Michigan. It has been described by some as the Greenwich Village of Grand Rapids. Today a walkable mixed-use neighborhood, Eastown began as a streetcar commuter suburb of downtown Grand Rapids.
  • Hard to put into words how wonderful it was staying with Stacy. She is a great hostess and takes a lot of pride in her home. Just about any creature comfort you can think of is found throughout your private space as well as the shared spaces. No doubt you'll feel welcome by her two dogs. These teddy bears are the best greeters coming home each day!

    Tyler2019-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautifully and lovingly renovated, historic home with a very interesting story! Stacy is a wonderful host and she made us feel welcome. The living space is immaculate. We highly recommend it on every level.

Our historical home has easy access to all that Downtown Grand Rapids has to offer! By bike, public transit, or car, you can be where you want to be quickly and efficiently. We have one king bedroom available on the second floor. The bathroom is for our guests only. Children are welcome. Convenient to breweries, Van Andel Arena, De Vos Place, Spectrum Hospitals, GVSU, East Grand Rapids, Eastown, children's museum, Aquinas and Calvin colleges and more.
This home was built by Calvin College as the parish house to the first Reformed Church in West Michigan. Its built with simplicity in mind and all the quality that you would expect from 100 year old design.
This neighborhoid offers diversity and a sense of community. We love having our huge park a block away with tennis, swimming pool in summer and great place to walk a dog. There is a play ground and baseball field as well.
  • Bonne compréhension de notre horaire charger , bonne liberté des lieux, simple. Je recommande cette chambre ! Le lit est très confortable .

  • I stayed here with my friend and 10 month old baby. The bed was super cumfy. Leslle was very helpful and gave us great suggestions on best places to visit and eating establishments. We sat and talked with her, her husband and her youngest son. They were all very nice and helped us with whatever we needed. If i go back to grand rapids, she's my go to place!

    Amy2018-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • Leslles and Pete are both awesome !! Communication is great, they made sure I had everything I needed. Super sweet couple! I enjoyed my stay! Highly recommend

    Deangelo2018-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful three night stay at Leslie's. The room is large and very comfortable, with plenty of storage space. She set up a generous breakfast for us in the kitchen. As a host, she was incredibly warm and welcoming, always happy to chat and even going through the trouble of giving us a ride to the bus station at the end of our stay.

    Salar2017-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous old home with spacious, comfortable rooms and beds! I would recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a beautiful house while exploring Grand Rapids.

    Joseph2018-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Quick response to our enquiries. Easy check-in and out - and a really comfy bed.

    Barbara2018-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, super comfortable bed, great space for the price! Just stopped in for a night and wasn’t around to talk to Leslie much, but she was great about communicating and made accessing the house simple. My only complaint is that there was a cat roaming around the house that wasn’t mentioned in the listing, and my friend and I both have cat allergies.

  • Wonderful stay! Cailin and Vince were very warm, friendly, and inviting. The room is great, would recommend!

    Matt2018-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Cailin's place is very close to two of the coolest areas in Grand Rapids - Eastown and East Hills. Cool breweries, restaurants, and shops were all within a 5 minute bike ride. The space is also very nice - lots of hardwood floors, a large bathroom across the hall, and a comfortable bed.

    Ken2018-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • When planning a trip to Grand Rapids you’ll be glad you stayed here! The neighborhood is welcoming, with many beautiful homes, and Cailin’s place provides both beauty and a relaxed environment to compliment your stay.

    Russell2018-09-30T00:00:00Z

  • Our hosts made us feel very welcome and at home. The room was cozy, comfortable and clean. We felt at ease to come and go and our space and privacy was respected. The location was perfectly placed for us since we love eating good food and drinking craft beer. All in all a great stay with great hosts!

    Lukas2018-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great stay with Cailin and her family. I was in town for a conference and the place was perfect. The neighbourhood is nice, quiet, and residential, although an easy journey downtown if you want to go exploring. Grand Rapids is probably easier to get around if you have a car, but I managed perfectly well with walking and the local bus routes. Cailin's house is set up for visitors - I appreciated the signs on the kitchen cupboard doors! The room is spacious and comfortable. Cailin responded quickly to any queries I had before I arrived and made sure I had all the check-in information well in advance. She and Vince made me feel really welcome and if I'm back in Grand Rapids I'll be looking to stay again. If you're coming to the city, I'd definitely recommend staying here.

My place is close to parks, restaurants, bars & breweries. You’ll love it because of the location, ease, & proximity to downtown. Comfortable, arty atmosphere - good for solo adventurers, business travelers & couples/small families. Two large private rooms upstairs all to yourself. Shared spaces: bathroom, downstairs living room, kitchen/dining, outdoor dining. I'm rarely home, but I'll leave you treats!
Our neighborhood is great - urban with long-standing residents. It's occasionally noisy, but quite safe! We are right in the thick of Easttown with really amazing bars and restaurants within walking distance. And downtown is a 5 minute/$5 uber ride away.

  • Nice setup in the basement of a family home. Great location, great price, and very fast responses. Sean was more than pleasant

    Tom2019-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and great location. Easy in & out. Sean is a fantastic host.

    Chip2019-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and comfy, and the communication was great. Sean knew before I did that one of the things we wanted to do during our trip wasn’t open, and he let us know and gave several alternative suggestions. He also has brought down a basket of toys for my daughter to play with. All around, so great!!! Because it is a basement you might want to bring a sweatshirt and slippers. We had them and I was glad I brought them. You can’t go wrong with this stay!

    Stephanie2019-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • I had an amazing stay. Atmosphere and cleanliness was beyond excellent. Very cozy and welcoming. Location was great as well. Sean made me feel comfortable and was even able to help me out with a few things I left behind. Highly recommend this location

    Trevor2019-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay here was MUCH better than we anticipated. Everything was exactly as pictured, and stated on the app. It was an extremely easy check-in. It is a very unique property, and we were made to feel very comfortable. We had planned on visiting the Frederik Miejer Gardens and Sculpture Park during our stay in GR. While getting information about the area from Sean he offered us a pair of free tickets for the day. We couldn’t have been happier. These guys are very knowledgeable of their city, and I will hopefully be staying here every visit to GR, and I recommend it to everyone.

Our cozy 3 bedroom 1 bath home is a warm, welcoming space that can be customized to meet your needs! We are less than a mile from some favorite attractions including East Town, Michigan St., and Cherry St. We're also just over a mile from downtown and have easy freeway access! We love GR and AirBNB and want you to love them too! Whether you are visiting for work or pleasure, we are committed to providing a great experience. Just tell us what you're into and we are happy to give recommendations!
Note: we have one newly acquired goldendoodle puppy. He is very well behaved and really only whines for the first minute he is put in his kennel or when he first hears someone come into the house. Our 3 bedroom, 1 bath home with a partially finished basement is a perfect place for your stay! It has beautiful, modern updates including a sprawling deck, outdoor fire pit, beautiful built-in shelves, crown molding, and a gas fire place. Right around the corner are some of the best parks, bars, and restaurants in Grand Rapids. You'll love it! The full bed in the private room could comfortably fit two, and we have recently acquired a brand new queen sized air mattress (22 inches x 80 inches x 60 inches) that we put out in the basement that can also comfortably fit two. The basement does not have a door that closes to it, but the entrance is relatively removed from the main portion of the house and we will not be entering the area during your stay! The private room has a TV with a Kindle Fire with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Go, Watch ESPN, and lots more. Know that having more than four individuals is a tight squeeze because we also live in the home, however we may be able to accommodate more individuals on a case by case basis. There is one bathroom in the house, and because we live here we will be sharing it with you. We have never had an issue with sharing the bathroom with guests, and will work around your schedule if you let us know if you need it at a certain time. We will provide you with snacks and bottled water on check-in, and a binder full of our favorite sites, drinks, and eats around GR. We are always happy to make personalized recommendations. While you can bring whatever toiletries you would like, we provide items like washcloths, luffas, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, deodorant and many other essentials you might need. We've traveled the world and have also driven from Michigan to San Diego, from San Deigo to Seattle, and then back to Michigan all while using AirBNB, so we understand forgetting things is just part of the journey. We love Airbnb, and want to make the space as comfortable as possible for you! We have a washer and dryer in the basement available to all guests, so if you're on a long trip or just passing through and don't feel like doing laundry when you get back, feel free to utilize. Unlike many of the other historical homes in the area, the unit is always well heated, you will never be too cold here even on those freezing Michigan days, and we have also have air conditioning for those unreasonable Michigan summer days!
After living in Grand Rapids for several years, we bought our beautiful home in July of 2017 in one of our favorite neighborhoods, Fulton Heights. We think you'll love it here too! We have super easy access off of 196, and are about 5 minutes from the 196/131 interchange so you'll have no problem getting around. The Fulton Street Farmers market is literally across the street and is a vibrant market open year round. We are 1.5 miles ($6 Lyft/Uber ride) to downtown, however we would encourage you to explore our area. We have a delicious bakery two blocks up, Michigan St. bars where all the locals hang just over a half mile away, and Cherry St. has favorites including Brewery Vivant, Maru Sushi, Marie Cartribs, and Greenwell Gastropub. If you are a beer lover, we have you covered! Great spots like Founders, Vivant, Grand Rapids Brewing, Hopcat, Harmony, Elk, and more are a stones throw away (assuming you can throw a stone no more than 1.5 miles). Perrin is about a 20 minute drive, and if you're feeling ambitious Bells and Odd Side are about an hour drive. If you're not a beer lover, or are looking for other things to do, we can help there too! We have tons of restaurants we LOVE, and there are great museums and cultural events throughout this amazing city.
  • Everything was great! Awesome location and they were great communicators!

    Ashlee2018-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Holly and Dwight (the puppy!) we're excellent hosts. We booked last-minute, and I feel Holly went really out of her way to make sure everything was ready. Clear communication the entire time was a phenomenal perk. Thanks for the great GR experience!

    Chris2019-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect hosts and place to stay when in GR, great vibe.

    Scott2018-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Always a pleasure. I stay here while on business in GR. Comfortable, quiet, and sharing the bathroom is never an issue. A quick hop skip and a jump to restaurants and hot spots in GR. Also easy to get to the highway if you have a tight schedule. Welcoming , look forward to staying there again in the future.

    Joanna2018-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew and Holly are amazing hosts and people. Would stay there again anytime I’m back in Grand Rapids. There’s really not much else to say, they are the quintessential AirBnB experience. Clean, fun, comfortable, and hospitable experience.

    Harrison2018-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • I usually feel like it is a the small things that differs a house from a home. Andrew's home topped that and made our stay really comfortable. The house is located at a such a great location with things to do nearby. Andrew gives you great recommendations on where to go around GR and what to eat, which is what we needed as it was our first time there. Anyone planning to go to GR should stay here and no where else.

    Ishaan2018-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew and Holly were great host. Place was clean and the bottles of H2O were a nice touch. If you're in Grand Rapids for the beer scene they are knowledgeable folks. Thanks again for having us. Pro Tip: if you are on the air mattress make sure you blow it up all the way for a better nights sleep!

    David2018-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew's place was exactly as described. And it was SO convenient to everything! Very thoughtful of anticipating what might be needed. Very clean and comfortable. A great stay!

Private bedroom with private bathroom in a beautiful Home in East Grand Rapids. Across the street from Aquinas College, and a 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Eastown and Wealthy Street. Feel free to cook in our kitchen and use the washer and dryer. We are two brothers who live in this lovely home with our two friendly dogs ( one is 11 years old, the other is a puppy). We would be delighted to have you stay!
  • Jeremy was a great host! space is clean and the dogs are super cute!

  • I didn't get the chance to meet Jeremy but was able to have a couple cool conversations with his brother Ben during my stay. Their house was clean, the dogs were fun to play with and Eastown is a fun neighborhood to explore in Grand Rapids. I would definitely recommend this AirBnb if you need to be in the downtown area.

Located on a quiet street in the Eastown neighborhood, the guest space is in the lower level of our private historic residence. Included is a queen sized bed & lounging chair; bathroom & kitchenette - both en suite; linens & towels. The kitchenette includes a sink & counter space area, a refrigerator & microwave, dining table w/seating; table settings & kitchen items such as toaster, coffee maker, electric pan, electric kettle. Licensed by the city of Grand Rapids - License # HOB-17-0172
Eastown is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Grand Rapids with entertainment, unique shopping, wonderful food & great beer, all within walking distance. Some of our Eastown favorites: Yesterdog, That Early Bird Cafe, Terra GR (farm to table), Harmony Brewing Company (great pizza), Wolfgangs Restaurant (breakfast), Spirit Dreams & Gallery 154 (cool & unpredictable gifts), Smitty's Specialty Beverage.
  • Jill and Tim's place was excellent, and just as described in the listing. Tim personally greeted us upon our arrival and made us feel welcome. The house sits on a nice, quiet street with abundant parking, and is within a short walking distance to area breweries, bars, and restaurants. We really enjoyed our time in Grand Rapids and would definitely recommend staying with Jill and Tim.

    Ryan2015-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Jill and Tim's basement apartment was just what we were looking for. A private, quiet place to rest between adventures in Western Michigan. The space is really nice, with everything you need to cook and relax and get clean and sleep tight. The neighborhood is stunning and perfect for long walks. Would definitely stay here again if we're ever in Grand Rapids!

    Ashley2015-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Jill and Tim have a lovely private room in the basement of their home. It is very convenient as it includes a little kitchenette. The room was neat and tidy and comfortable. The best part, it is perfectly situated just a few blocks (a 5 minute walk) from the cute Eastown shops. I wish I could have spent more time here. I would love to stay again next time I'm in Grand Rapids!

    Eliza2015-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location and accommodations. Friendly hosts.

    Kenny2016-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • On arrival Tim made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed and knew we could contact them if we had any questions. Although this is connected to a (beautiful) house it feels very private with a large area that has everything you need- just like an apartment. The neighbourhood and street are very scenic. would definitely recommend and stay again, it was a shame our stay was so short!

    Laura2016-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • We didn't meet Jill or Tom but the apartment was spacious and in a great location. We were able to walk to Vivant Brewery and other nearby locations, which was great. There was a lovely raspberry bush out front and the street is adorable. I would recommend bringing ear plugs as it is a basement apartment and the historic home allows noise to travel easily from upstairs.

    Meredith2016-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • A fantastically tasteful rental space in a walkable neighborhood! Highly recommended. Was a lovely, cool retreat after a long, hot day in Grand Rapids.

    Sean2016-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Jill & Tim’s place was the perfect spot for our mother/daughter weekend! We walked to restaurants, breweries and shops in many different neighborhoods. They were incredibly responsive and helpful!

Less than one mile from downtown with every attraction Grand Rapids has to offer within walking distance. Take a stroll to the Fulton St. Market, head up Lake Ave to Gaslight Village, or skip the parking fees by walking to the show you're in town for. More food, beer, and fun within a mile than you could try in a month. And when the day is done, head upstairs and rest your weary head, for tomorrow a new adventure awaits!
This space is located on the 2nd floor accessible by stairs. The deadbolt is passcode activated, so no need to carry the house key with you. Two beds are listed, but the couch can be laid down to sleep another if you'd like.

  • Logan’s place was perfect! She was so helpful throughout the whole process and even was accommodating about the check in check out times. The place is ADORABLE! I would live here if I could, ha! It was in perfect location to downtown and was super easy to find. The place itself was very spacious, we even had chocolates on our pillows and there was a bottle of wine! I will definitely stay here again!

HOB-18-0258 Our home is located in the center of Eastown! Eastown is Grand Rapids coolest neighborhood, where the area's character is reflected in an eclectic mix of specialty shops and galleries, restaurants, coffee houses, entertainment venues, and locally owned businesses. You can walk to nearly everything you need right from our home.
Our home turned 100 years old in 2014. It has a ton of charm and character. Original hardwood floors, leaded and stained glass windows, radiator heat, wood molding, etc.. Your room contains an XL Twin bed, closet with hangers, fan, extra bedding, and a smart TV with Netflix, etc… There is a white noise machine, full size desk for working and dresser with drawers. Your room has private access to the 3 season back porch. We live right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Eastown. We are located right near shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc.. With that being said you will likely hear: cars, cabs, conversation and general "city noise.” A simple solution is the white noise machine or closing your bedroom window when sleeping. Prime city living is great, but please expect the normal city sounds. The room is on the 2nd floor of the home so there is a flight of stairs to climb. Please note that if you are booking during the Summer months temperatures can get hot. Our house does not have central air, but during warm months (May-Sep) your room will have a window A/C unit which is sufficient to cool your space. Long term rental is available, message me first. W/D access for long term rentals
My husband and I have traveled extensively throughout the country and I can honestly say that Eastown is my favorite neighborhood. When it came down to where we wanted to plant roots we moved from Chicago to Eastown and purchased our home. Eastown is filled with family & independently owned restaurants, bars, coffee shops and businesses. You will see very few chain stores or restaurants. This is a very local minded community.
  • Perfect place for a quick trip. The bed was very comfortable and they provided coffee, a fridge, plenty of water and a desk. Check-in was very easy. Parking is a bit tricky since the house is on a one-way street and you can only park on one side. I had to park up a street and walk a block. Not a big deal but good to know.

    Mary2019-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful experience! Jen was a fantastic host, and the space was perfect! A comfy and quiet bed, cool patio-type access, and air conditioning! Would recommend ten times over.

    Geoff2015-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • My friend Julie and I stayed with Jen and Andy while in town for the Grand Rapids Zine Fest. We loved the private back porch and local beer. There was lots of privacy and we felt very welcomed. A very charming eco-friendly house. One of the reasons we chose to stay with Jen and Andy is because they keep a vegan household. I would definitely stay again when I'm in Grand Rapids.

    Jami2015-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Jen & Andy's space is tucked into a pretty lively area of Eastown - with the convenience of anything you would need. Although I didn't spend a ton of time in their space or the immediate area - it was an easy, convenient location for my weekend training. Cute pups always make for a pleasant stay as well.

    Jen2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny and Andy were great, very welcoming and the place was as listed. Good location, close to many east town locations. Would recommend for anyone staying in the area.

    Matthew2015-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny and Andy were wonderful hosts - they're super responsive, helpful, and thoughtful (they actually read my profile and left books from my favorite author out for me!). Highly recommend, would stay again.

    Matt2019-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny was very nice, I didnt spend much time in Grand Rapids and I was getting sick so my interaction with her was very limiting but the place was really nice, clean and I enjoy the fact that everything was eco-friendly

Great location in quiet, historic Ottawa Hills neighborhood. Located 1 minute from East Grand Rapids and Eastown, 5 minutes from Calvin College and 28th St and 7 minutes from downtown, this central location has a lot to offer.
  • Amy was a great host. Everything was top notch. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Grand Rapids.

    Kevin2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Amy and Bob were very helpful and friendly. There was also an additional surprise of homemade banana chocolate chip bread on top of the microwave when we arrived which was delicious! There house is just 15min drive from downtown and if you don't mind a 15-25min walk there are some breweries and historic homes nearby which are nice! My husband and I thought the place was clean and exceeded our expectations! We would definitely stay here again.

  • Amy and Bob's airbnb is a lovely and comfortable little abode in the lower level of their beautiful home. We arrived later than expected but were still greeted by Bob and made to feel right at home. The room is super comfortable and was perfect for our night in Grand Rapids. We really appreciated the little touches, like homemade banana bread, and felt at ease in the space! We would absolutely stay again and recommend it to those traveling to GR.

Come stay with us in our well cared for and nicely decorated home. We love our 12 year old stone and cedar Cape Cod with three levels of living space. Your en-suite is on the walk out level close to the pond where wildlife flourishes. Come see our heron, and koi and hear our bullfrogs and mallards. We are seasoned entertainers who share a passion for great food, coffee, music, culture and wine. You hope you will feel very welcomed and cared for during your stay with us.
Private en-suite bedroom is furnished with a Queen sized bed, fine linens, down pillows and comforters, quilts, plush towels, a robe and hair dryer. We provide toiletries such as shampoo, make up remover, cleansers, hair spray, etc. in your connecting private bathroom. Mini fridge, ironing board and iron can be found in the large closet. Coffee & tea maker, along with makings for a great cup of coffee or tea are available in room, as are some homemade, scratch baked goods and treats. Peeled, HB eggs or overnight oats are always in the fridge. Views include water (well, a big pond) and lovely sounds of nature. Guests have the option of using a private entrance (weather permitting.)
East Grand Rapids. We are less than 3 miles to downtown Grand Rapids. World class Fredrick Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is a little over 3 miles away. Enjoy a 1/2 mile walk to Gaslight Village, Shops and Restaurants. A short walking distance will get you to Aquinas College, and we are a short drive to Calvin College and 30 miles to lovely Lake Michigan. Easy access to all Grand Rapids, yet in spite of the proximity to the metropolitan area, our back yard offers the feeling of being in the woods and thisclose to nature. Although our road is busy at times (30 mph) an easy cross of the street leads to sidewalks.
  • Gorgeous home in a beautiful setting. Bob and Sher could not have been more gracious and helpful. They are lovely hosts.

    Susan2017-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed one night during ArtPrize. The house is gorgeous and the room and bathroom are luxurious! They included many amenities to make guests feel completely spoiled! We highly recommend and hope to stay here again!

    Lainey2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • I booked my seond stay at Bob and Sherri's after my work schedule called for a repeat trip to the GR area. This second visit was every bit as comfortable as the first. The quiet BR with its own attached bath on the lower level of their home was private, spacious and once again spotlessly clean. Communicating with Bob and Sherri is easy and hassle-free. I appreciated their flexibility to let me come and go without dsrupting their own prvacy and family routines.

    Alan2017-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you think the pictures are too good to be true, they are exactly what you get. Delightful hosts, the muffins were terrific and they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Thanks Bob and Sher.

  • We had a pleasant stay! Their home was cozy with great little touches of hospitality! I would recommend this to others coming into the area!

    Carly2019-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Sher and Bob have a lovely home! Close to all the downtown GR attractions. Clean, comfortable and affordable stay! Their response time was excellent as well!

    Stephanie2017-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • I was unable to stay with Sher and Bob, but was very grateful for the information they provided to me about bad storms in the area and they also helped me find another place in the area. The bad storms left them without power and they were able to direct me to a town that was not effected by the storms. I valued their time and help.

    Amy2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough positive things about Sher, Bob and their place. Their hospitality is unmatched. As soon as I arrived, they invited me to dinner (which was amazing!) with their family and tea by the fire after dinner. I truly felt like family. They were all so kind and warm. Their home is stunning, interior and exterior. The room/bathroom that they rent out was spacious, incredibly clean and had probably anything you'd need had you forgot something. I had such a positive experience staying with them and would recommend them to anyone. This is the place to stay in Grand Rapids!

Designed by a retired French professor (my mother) your private bedroom suite reflects her love of all things beautiful. Think Oriental carpets and original artworks. From harried intern to world traveler, short or extended stay--this space is perfect.
Though you are renting just a bedroom suite, its situation in the 750 sq. ft. addition to the main house gives you the sense of enjoying a whole relaxing world of your own.... sunlit three-seasons porch for morning coffee or evening happy hour, spacious TV room, convenient kitchenette. The inclusion of a Euro style Water Closet in your bedroom suite which is separate from the main shower room area allows two guests to conveniently get ready for the day or evening at the same time . Even guests looking for a weekly or a one-month rental would find that the space offers all they need for living, lounging, and working.
Ottawa Hills neighborhood is an idyllic walking neighborhood. The architecture and landscaping of every house is different, and Hall Street Bakery (actually a bakery, coffee shop, eatery and libation station) is only blocks away. It is minutes from downtown, Eastown, Gaslight Village and Reeds Lake, but is green, quiet and throughly charming.
  • I've stayed in a few Airbnb spaces, and this is my favorite! Communication with Micheline and her daughter, Marie, was smooth and easy. Marie greeted us with the keys, and my friend and I had privacy the rest of the weekend. The area is serene and safe. From the luxurious shower, comfy couch, stocked kitchen, cozy bed, beautiful neighborhood, as well as the delicious, homemade scones and granola from Micheline, this rental is ideal for a short weekend trip or longer stay. It's a quick drive, nice walk, or cheap lyft to top rated restaurants. Downtown Grand Rapids was very easy to get to as well. Three of our favorites were Brewery Vivant, Grand Rapids Brewing Co., and San Chez Bistro. We were also impressed by the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. We wished we could have stayed longer!

    Stacy2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Micheline is always an exceptional hostess. Each time I stay here I feel comfortable and welcomed. If I could give the space more than five stars I would. Highly recommended!

    Tiffany2018-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • The moment you walk in the door any tension leaves you. The space is calm and aesthetically pleasing with art surrounding you. Everything you need is there. Private entrance and garage parking. Location, a few minutes from city center with easy access to other GR neighborhoods. Micheline is wonderful--along with breakfast and home baked scones! We look forward to our next stay.

  • A lovely private apartment on a quiet street, but accessible to so many spots in Grand Rapids. We had a great time.

  • A lovely experience. Residence is beautiful, clean, comfortable and peaceful. A great neighborhood for a evening walk.

    Flip2018-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Micheline's place is wonderful! Super comfortable, incredibly spacious, and close to Easttown, where we discovered some great restaurants and shops. Not far at all from Downtown, about a $4 Lyft ride. You cannot beat this place! Can't wait to stay again.

  • Cute place with lots of little touches that made us feel right at home. We were in town because a family member was rushed to the hospital, and Amanda made our stay pleasant. It was nice to have homey place to stay after a long day. Special touches like snacks and a basket full of toiletries made it even better. Thanks.

Stay in the most desirable part of Grand Rapids! Some of the best restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Walk to Marie Catribs for breakfast, Rowster for a coffee, Donkey for a taco and beer and Brewery Vivant for dinner! The apartment is clean and updated. Brand New memory foam beds. Floors were just refinished and walls painted. Spacious Shower that is stocked with what you need to stay clean.
My apartment is unique because it has gorgeous old built ins and the old feel of Grand Rapids. The woodwork is pretty incredible. The bathroom was just remodeled
The East Hills Neighborhood is one of the most popular and desirable neighborhoods of Grand Rapids. You are just around the corner from Heritage Hill, The shops and restaurants on Wealthy and Cherry, and Marthas Vineyard. It centrally located and allows you access to downtown with a 1 mile walk, bus, or short uber/lyft.

We would have walked downtown, but it was raining. It was only a 5 min. drive. We will definitely use this apartment again.

  • Greta's place was just a pictured! Greta was quick to respond and was very willing to take care of our needs. We used the apartment for a girls weekend getaway. And it was perfect. I would certainly recommend this apartment!

  • Matthew’s home was a great place to stay and we loved how close it was to tons of great attractions in Grand Rapids. We were just minutes away from tons of breweries and really enjoyed our stay. Space was a little tight for 6 people, but there were plenty of blankets and air mattresses for everyone in our group. Overall Matthew’s home was a really comfortable place to visit with good amenities and was in a great location. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay with a group in Grand Rapids!

  • What you see is what you get. It is a very nice house and Matthew was very accommodating to my needs. He is quick with his responses and readily answers any questions you might have in a respectful manner (big plus!) I would highly recommend him for anyone needing a place to stay especially if you plan on having a few friends over to hang out.

This is an 1890s apartment that has been freshly remodeled and updated! Convenient located a couple blocks from Brewery Vivant, Rowster coffee, Donkey Taqueria, Green Well, Maru Sushi and other shopping and eating. Comfortable beds - everything you need to enjoy GR!
Just remodeled and updated - but All the original woodwork was kept. Floors sanded down to bare wood and totally refinished. Fun apartment that is close to downtown and in a nice neighborhood just two blocks outside heritage hill. LCD Smart TV (Roku). It has access to all amazon prime movies and tv shows and a few local stations.
East Hills is the ideal place to stay in Grand Rapids. This area has most of the best restaurants and shops within walking distance. You are less than a mile from downtown as well. Great coffee at Rowster on Wealthy street or Lyon Street Cafe on Lyon. Excellent dining options on cherry street.
  • David was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. The space was exactly as described. Parking was easy to find and we felt very comfortable. Would highly recommend this space.

    Dan2016-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was exactly as described. The only issue with parking down the street a bit was the ice on the street and side walks. Otherwise, the place was clean and homey. The beds were very comfortable with fresh sheets. Highly recommend!

    Amber2016-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this Grand Rapids AirBnB! The place was spacious, well decorated and sleek, had everything we needed and nothing we didn't to trip over. The bedrooms were quiet with big beds and I loved the little kitchen and common space where everyone could hang out together. Moreover, David was extremely responsive when I had questions and provided some great tips in his neighborhood. Getting in was easy and nice to have a key pad so we didn't have to share one key. Thanks!

    Katie2016-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place was absolutely perfect for the brewery walking tours I wanted to do with my buddy. We had great access to terrific food and drink that were easy to walk to, and then the excellent bus system allowed us to go pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. Bruce was fantastic. Answered messages quickly and very helpfully and the place had all sorts of little touches that made life away from home easier. I had read another review that suggested the a/c in the apartment might be weak. We had temps around 86 outside, very muggy, but the apartment stayed super comfortable throughout. In order to a/c the living room one only needs to have the master bedrooms french doors open; no extra fans needed, though fans were also provided. The living room is as perfect as it looks for crashing after hitting some breweries. If you like brand new furniture you might be disappointed, but we were very comfortable. No problems with noise from downstairs or from us. Great stay.

    Mike2017-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious accommodations; fantastic location. Excellent communication. Thanks!

  • Fantastic place to stay! Bruce is the best host with thoughtful touches to the apartment and very prompt in responding to any question I had. Very cool but still cozy, super clean, and well appointed in a great location! I’m already excited for my next trip to GR so I can stay here again.

  • I stayed in this apartment the night before and of my Grand Rapids wedding and it was just perfect! David was very responsive and helpful during our stay. It was hot while we were there and he offered to install an extra air conditioner without us asking! I really appreciate his hospitality and willingness to go above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to spend some time in Grand Rapids.

  • This place is stunning. Very spacious and modern. Has everything you need. Uber to downtown Grand Rapids was 7$ and is literally 2 miles away. Christina responded to our questions very quickly even left a handout with places to visit. We enjoyed our stay and will rent again if we are back in the area.

    Bracken2018-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a great time visiting Grand Rapids. Staying at Christina’s place made it even better! Everything from the location to the comfort of having everything we needed being away from home. Very close to dt GR, cool coffee spots & shops. Private entrance and a very clean and spacious place just as described. The option to park my car in their garage was a great option too! I would 100% stay there again as well as recommend it to anyone who visits.

    Kim2018-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and in a great location - only about 5 minutes from downtown GR. Christina was quick with her responses to our questions and very helpful and hospitable (she even bought us beer!) The only minor issue was that the source of heat was two space heaters. They heated the place fine, but it was still a bit chilly. This was probably only an issue since we visited in the winter. Since the apartment is below ground, it's probably perfect in the summer. If we make another trip to GR, we'd definitely stay here again!

    Andrew2019-02-17T00:00:00Z

    Meghan2019-01-01T00:00:00Z

  • Could not have asked for a better Grand Rapids experience! A few of my buddies and I came to town for the craft beer festival. Upon arriving we found a 4 pack of Michigan craft beer waiting on the counter, and 4 packs of hand warmers which were very useful while at the outdoor festival. We were even offered a parking space in the garage which was above and beyond. Highly recommend staying here and will do so again if we are ever in Grand Rapids!

Centrally located historic home restored to its original beauty. Easily hop the bus just outside or call an Uber / Lyft to your location. Walking distance from many shops and restaurants.
A recently renovated house. Located in the historic area of the city, I welcome you to stay in my 1900 Queen Anne home. The entire apartment is yours. A full service bathroom with (nearly) unlimited hot water and extra towels is available. You are more than welcome to use the kitchen, full of spices, cast iron, and dried herbs. There is plenty of free parking on the street right out front. The apartment is 1,000 ft. from the main bus line that leads into the heart of the city, so if you are car-less it is easy to get around and get to. Uber and Lyft are also in the area. Located by all the best mom and pop restaurants in the city, a large grocery store (in case you forgot anything), and the newly renovated and expanded Farmer's Market. I have one feisty but friendly cat deservedly named Turbo. He will either make you his friend or ignore you as cats do. [Turbo will not be present Feb 1 - March 10]
This neighborhood is part of the historic area of the city. All the homes are adorable. There are a lot of locally owned restaurants and shops which makes it unique. Breweries are also walking distance.
  • Veronica was a delightful and accommodating host. Her place is in a fantastic location within walking distance to East Hills and Easttown, and basically a 30 second walk to a bus stop.

    Danielle2012-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay. Just a few minutes from this location to downtown and it's surrounded by artsy dining, brew pubs, coffeeshops and so forth all in easy walking distance. Veronica was very helpful and available when needed.

    Rick2012-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Veronica's place was much more spacious than we thought it would be. It's right beside Madcap Coffee, a trendy place in the area, and is walking distance to cool breweries and restaurants on Cherry Street. We walked to downtown one day and it only took about 40 minutes down a scenic street--very do-able. Her cat Turbo was one of the highlights of our stay. He is so cute, friendly, and cuddly! The house is on the first level of a 2 family home and has a lot of charm. It was the perfect place for us to stay on a long weekend to explore Grand Rapids. I highly recommend staying at Veronica's!

    Daniella2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Veronica was a dream, even when I dropped her potted plant. She showed us around the neighborhood, and showed grace and flexibility during our checkout time. She's a lovely hostess.

  • This location is amazing! It's so close to a robust farmer's market, a delicious coffee shop right next door, and several local restaurants/shops very close. Parking on the street was very accessible. The apartment itself is a delight, and every detail is thoughtful. HIGHLY recommend!

    Maddie2018-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place is very unique in its style and character. The location of the apartment is perfect for places to eat and things to do. The cat is a plus. Veronica was very gracious and responsive as a host.

    Joseph2018-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great host, excellent place, amazing location, and the most charming cat!

    Jane2018-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Veronica was a great hostess, patient when we were late, kind, and accommodating in a way that allowed us to relax, and make our selves comfortable in her home, which I find essential. Her place was incredibly clean and neat, and her cat, Turbo, was easily the highlight of the trip.

This is a PERFECT neighborhood. Being from Chicago, I wanted a location where I could walk to neighborhood businesses, restaurants and culture. This location is perfect for this. It is easily accessed from all major highways, a five minute drive or 20 minute walk to the downtown area. The airport is 15-20 minutes by car, AND Grand Rapids now has car service with Uber! Super convenient.
  • Spotless clean place! Very high standard amenities and design.

  • My husband and I had an enjoyable stay at Frederick's place with our toddler son. The renovated bathroom, kitchen, and large master bedroom were especially nice. We drove to most places during our stay but some restaurants and shops were fairly walkable if one were so inclined. (We did walk to Brewery Vivant which was nice!) We are not sure if the tenants upstairs are other Airbnb guests or permanent tenants; we rarely heard them but did hear them when they would come home in the wee hours of the morning each night, as the floors were rather squeaky both upstairs and in the downstairs unit in which we stayed (we had to carefully tiptoe around when our little one was sleeping). The neighborhood is quiet and residential during the day (but we did hear fireworks outside a couple evenings during our stay.) All in all, Frederick has a beautiful space that served us well, our only real concerns being a few minor noise issues.

    Megan2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved everything about Frederick's place. Great amenities, clean, amazing location... I really can't think of anything we didn't like. Thanks so much for a great visit to GR!!

  • Grateful for a quiet respite from the hustle and rush of a conference. Beds were super comfortable, couches were cozy, and the space was renovated and decorated perfectly. Shower was hot with good water pressure, home was warm, and blankets were snuggly. For those staying soon, I might have left two unopened pints of Ben and Jerry's in the freezer. :)

Great location, walk to Wealthy St, not far from beer, coffee, and restaurants! Small house built in the 1800's with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. 1 room is located on the main floor and the second room is upstairs. The stairs going to the second floor are steep.
Downstairs has a nice open living room and dinning room as well as a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs there is another bedroom. The house has a driveway and lots of parking.
Area Attractions: Wealthy Street Theater, Uncle Cheetah's Soup, Topper's Pizza, The Sparrows Coffee, Pinkies's Ice Cream, Huntington Bank, Erb Thai, ELK Brewing, Donkey Taqueria, The Winchester, Wealthy Street Bakery, Louise Earl Butcher ...just some of my favoirte local spots!
  • Super cute place. Great location. We loved being able to walk to all the good restaurants and coffee shops on Wealthy Street. We stayed at the house for two weeks. Katy provided everything we needed to get us started. For people who are also staying more than just a couple of days— there are many convenient grocery stores nearby (we especially like D&W market that’s also on Wealthy Street. It’s a 5 min drive from the house). The Fulton Street farmers market is great for local and fresh produce.

  • We had a great stay at Katy's place in Grand Rapids. Hadn't been to town before and loved the location for this property - lots of cool places to walk around to and playgrounds nearby for the kids to play. Would definitely return to visit GR again. The house is relatively old and some things, like the floor have a bit of a slope due to foundation settling over time, might be an issue for some but didn't bother us. Great communication from host also.

  • Katy was such an amazing host and I loved being walking distance to everything!

    Larissa2018-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, cute home that is close to wonderful shops, restaurants, and bars. Awesome location. My husband and I stayed here with our toddler for four days and it was a perfect size for her to burn some energy during our down time when we were not out and about. Katy was extremely responsive and flexible when we requested to adjust days.

  • It was a quiet neighborhood and the place was perfect for the amount of time I had to spend there. Kitchen in particular was great. And the nearby Wealthy district had lots of fun restaurants. Overall, a great value with easy accessibility to downtown.

  • Wonderful private place that accommodated my family. In a quite neighborhood but still only >10 minutes to downtown and even closer to amazing restaurants/bars on Wealthy street. Katy was very responsive to text messages.

  • Warm, cozy and clean house! I was planning a month stay and Katy had me look around her place even before booking. She was very welcoming and was always there when I needed her. Her place was warm, cozy, clean, nicely decorated, close to everything and was in a quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay at her place again!

  • We do not recycle in new Mexico I couldn't tell you what is recycling is! Also I would have really appreciated it if I got toilet paper when I said I was we didn't have no light on the front porch the door latch was messed up when we as arrived we had to keep putting it back up the only reason i did feel comfortable is because I had my own registered gun. Also there was no curtains where anybody could look in had to cover them by myself the closet doors we didn't even mess with it was only opened on one side they were hard to to open

The living room has a comfortable sofa, a pair of vintage armchairs, a TV, and dining table that can seat six. The cupboards are stocked with spices, breakfast foods and coffee. We have a small back yard with a brand new grill that guests are welcome to enjoy. • The epitome of old charm! Enjoyed my stay here very much. The place came equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Most importantly Madeleine was quick to respond to any of my needs. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to stay in the Grand Rapids area

  • Very nice pace to stay 👍

  • Madeleine's place was perfect. It was a nice home away from home on a business trip - a comfy bed and a hot shower and within walking distance of good food, beer and coffee. The separate entrance was nice and the shared screened-in patio was a bonus.

  • This home is absolutely adorable! It is full of style and charm. Madi was extremely helpful and prompt with any questions I had. She also offered a variety of suggestions for places to dine, go out, and local activities. I would definitely recommend this location to others!

  • My stay in this beautiful "eastown" suite was spectacular. The space was open and sunny. The decorations were intentional and web thought out and the hosts were super kind. Maddie and Stu provided great recommendations for dinner and drinks. While my friends waited to catch uber's back downtown I enjoyed a short quiet walk back to my room. I well definitely be staying here on my next trip. Clean, bright, beautiful.

A charming cottage located just south of downtown Grand Rapids in a quiet residential neighborhood. Lovely bakery and pizzeria just a few blocks away as well as several bus stops for public transport. Downtown Grand Rapids is just three miles away.
*30 day minimum stay* This 750 square foot home includes all of the amenities to make your stay comfortable. Full kitchen filled with dishes and cooking utensils, an open living space, and two beds to sleep up to four guests. One queen bed in a private bedroom and one daybed that can be made up as a twin or king (for four guests) in a nook off the main living space. Enjoy the front porch, back deck, or take the bus three miles downtown to enjoy everything Grand Rapids has to offer.
We've lived in this neighborhood for ten years and love the friendly people and quiet street. A local bakery and pizzeria is just three blocks away for great morning breakfasts or evening dinner and craft beer, but otherwise this is a quiet, residential neighborhood. However, we're also just a quick 3 mile drive, bus ride, or Uber away from downtown Grand Rapids.
  • This was such great house to stay in for our holidays! It had everything we needed, and it was clean and comfortable. It's very close to downtown and Frederick Meijer's Gardens. I highly recommend staying here. Rebecca, our host was easy to get a hold of and super helpful.

    Jaroslaw2015-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Rebecca was very accommodating to our arrival schedule and excellent at responding to questions. We really didn't have much to ask though because it was perfect! We loved the cottage. My boyfriend had never done airbnb before and he was floored at the fact that we got this whole house for less than the cost of a hotel room! The cottage is the perfect size, it was very clean, and the complimentary coffee and tea and snacks were a bonus. washer and dryer Were a plus we went home with clean clothes. The bed was so comfy we both slept better than we do at home! I can not say enough good things about this place.

    Sarah2015-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • The house was incredibly clean and tidy and the street that it's on is quiet and homey. The bed is crazy comfortable, as well. Rebecca was a great host and recommended some great places to visit during our time in Grand Rapids. We loved how the house is in biking distance from the fun locations in Eastown and Downtown. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat next time I'm visiting the city.

    Nick2015-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • The house was absolutely perfect for our trip! We had 4 adults and 2 babies. Plenty of room for everyone! Rebecca was absolutely the best and very helpful! Very close to breweries and the local bakery. We would definitely stay here again!

  • Rebecca was wonderful and the place is amazing. It truly is a cottage in the city. She even had a book with local things to do that was quite extensive and super nice. Although we didn't meet personally she was available if I needed her. The house is immaculate and I'll definitely stay again! The back porch and front porch were so perfect it made you feel at home. I highly recommend staying here. :)

    Elizabeth2015-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Rebecca was amazing from start to finish. She helped me choose the best places to eat and local attractions for my mom's birthday weekend. She responded almost immediately anytime I had a question and was very attentive throughout our stay. We enjoyed our time at Rebecca's cottage!

    Katherine2015-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our host: Rebecca is a great communicator. We connected via emails and texts. Before we arrived she answered any questions we had. On the day we arrived we arranged a time to receive the keys and get a tour of the cottage. She worked with our schedule and was very flexible. She was always fast with responding to any questions we had. During our stay she answered any questions about the area or the house. On the day we left again we had questions on how to lockup and she was very clear with the instructions which made it easy for us. She took extra effort with communications IE she prepared a binder, which was left on the kitchen counter, that explained things about the home, the Grand Rapids area and other miscellaneous information that was very helpful during our stay. The house: Location: The home is located minutes from the expressway and the downtown area in a quiet neighborhood. It is also about 10 minutes drive to Fredrick Meijer Gardens and Sculptor Park which is a wonderful hidden gem of Grand Rapids. Accommodations: The home is a standalone small house with its own driveway, back patio deck and screened in front porch. The cottage slept 4 adults comfortably. There was 1 king bed and 1 queen bed, a full operational kitchen, washer/dryer. Wifi was provided. Very homey and comfortable. VERY clean! Everything was there for us. Rebecca had the bathroom complete with hand, bath, body soap and shampoo. There were extra towels if needed. The kitchen was stocked with delicious coffee, (which was a great way to relax and start our day), teas and morning snacks. We would definitely stay again when we are in the area. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

Clean, one-bedroom Victorian Duplex in the heart of Eastown. Sleeps 3 (one on the couch). Has Wifi and Dish TV. This is a Victorian House that is a bit older, but it is in awesome condition. Great porch! Great location!
  • Keegan's place was very clean and cozy. Host was flexible w check in time. It was the perfect place for our stay in Grand Rapids. Also great location.

    Jo2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Not fancy, but functional! The porch was great, and the duplex was clean and matched the pictures. We only stayed a night so didn't need the kitchen, but it looked like the amenities we would've needed to cook were there. The only difficulty was the bed was not very supportive and the bathroom and shower was pretty small, so hard to move around while showering. Beyond that, great neighborhood and free street parking! Good for a nights stay in east town! Keegan was very responsive and gave us all the information we needed promptly.

    Asia2016-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great! We make a yearly trip to Grand Rapids to enjoy the beer, food, and all around awesomeness. This place was a stones throw from Harmony and Wolfgang's. Keegan's place was very nice, clean, and comfortable. We loved the location and great porch!

This is a PERFECT neighborhood. Being from Chicago, I wanted a location where I could walk to neighborhood businesses, restaurants and culture. This location is perfect for this. It is easily accessed from all major highways, and a five minute drive to the downtown area.
  • Frederick's place is well decorated and very clean. The kitchen had all the necessary supplies to cook basic meals. We were a family of younger children and it was walking distance to a playground, restaurants, and a small market. It was exactly what we were looking for.

  • Absolutely wonderful location and the home was just as described. Great AC (which was very much needed), clean, spacious, and lovely for lounging about. Very comfortable beds, a big kitchen and loved the ability to do laundry. Easy walk to the downtown and river. And, Frederick was highly responsive and so easy to communicate with.

  • We enjoyed our stay. The rental is the whole second floor of a house with its own entrance, kitchen, bathroom the works. This is a very pleasant environment. We especially liked the well equipped kitchen and large dinning room and living room. Everything needed was provided. There was just the two of us but this would easily house 4. The neighborhood is very quiet and right next to the historic district. The location is very central to grand rapids restaurants bars and points of interest. The parking is on the street but we never failed to find a space within 1 house away.
