  • We had a very pleasant stay at Wilton's place. The room was really nice and 10min walking distance to the tube station and the main street with some restaurants and shops. The flat is beautiful and the communication with Wilton was quick and easy. There are in total 2 bedrooms which was perfect for us as we don't like staying in overcrowded houses. I would recommend it and If I need will stay again at this place. Thank you.

    Beautiful modern penthouse apartment perfectly located a few minutes walk from the Excel exhibition center. The bedroom comes with a private bathroom and the balcony can be accessed directly from bedroom with AMAZING panoramic city and river views. There is paid parking in the neighbouring buildings, Perfect for visiting the ExCel. Nearby is Canary Wharf & the O2 arena. Supermarket on site, train station next to the building with easy access to the city and Stratford Westfield.
    Lovely comfortable double bed in a beautiful high floor apartment. The bedroom is a good size and has stunning views from the balcony which can be accessed directly from your room. The apartment has underfloor heating and all glass is triple glazed to stop any loud noise from the airport nearby. If it gets too warm I have placed a tower fan in the room also. The bathroom is large and comes with a shower and bathtub. Heated towel rails and some toiletries if you need them. The living room has panoramic city views with a wrap around balcony! Absolutely stunning views of the city night and day. There is a lift in the building to access the apartment. There is also a coffee shop next door and numerous restaurants a short walk away, including Thai , Italian , Indian , Lebanese and cafes for breakfast. You can also catch the river taxi which takes you on a scenic route on the river Thames to great tourist spots in London including Tower bridge , Big Ben and the London eye. The Emirates cable car river crossing is just outside that takes you to Greenwich with views of the whole city when you travel on this. Great location overall.
    Cafes , riverside , city , 02 arena (for concerts , shopping , cinema and food) restaurants , bars and supermarket on doorstep. Lots to do here .
  • My stay at Ismail's was completely above expectation. Spacious, clean, and with a terrific balcony view. It's ideal for those attending an event at the ExCEL Centre, literally just 10 minutes away by foot. Ismail himself was accommodating and so great to talk to. No issue whatsoever with check-in or communication; I hope to return in the future.

    The apartment is located in the East of London, between Stratford (where there's the biggest mall in Europe) and Canary Wharf. It's a residential area, quiet, with 2 metro lines connected. In 25 minutes you will arrive at the center.
    The room is equipped with wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table. The kitchen has an open space with the living room, two sofas, and a bathroom with shower/tub. Everything is very clean and neat 'cause we like to breathe fresh air and fragrant. Pretty simple apartment, with wooden floors.
    The district is pretty quiet and peaceful, ten minutes ride from Stratford, where you have shopping center: WESTFIELD, with every comfort! Stellar mall! And even ten minutes from Canary Wharf, a nice area, especially on sunny days where it's wonderful to walk along the river, or even better, by bicycle, with a beautiful view to London Bridge and the whole city. 5-minute ride also the new Emirates Airline, where you can surprise your partner with a cable car that will pass just above the O2 Arena, used for top international concerts and the underlying Thames.

  • Vi bodde hos de i 3 nätter. Trevliga och tysta tjejer, boendet var rent och fint. Ligger nära busshållplats och bara några minuter promenad till tunnelbanan. Lätt att ta sig till alla sevärdheter med tunnelbanan. Bara två hållplatser med tåg till Stratford eller 20 minuter med buss. Vi skulle gärna stanna där igen.

  • Good value for money, close to transport. If you're just after a clean room with ensuite at a good rate then this is for you. Ideal if you work away and want to keep your money in your pocket. A nice and easy self check-In system. Overall i was very happy with my stay, although a few minor hick ups did inconvenience me and the shower is a bit of a tight squeeze but manageable. Would I stay again? Yes!

The home is about five minutes walk to the Excell Convention Centre and a minute away from the Royal Victoria DLR which is your gateway to the Tube and literally anywhere in London.     Beautiful, cozy, warm and comfortable lodge room in my back garden, in a private closed square 10 min walking from Royal Victoria station on DLR, 14 min. walking to West entrance of London Excel and 12 min. to Emirates Cable Car where one can cross the Thames towards O2 Arena. From my house you walk towards Royal Victoria Station, cross the station bridge to the other side and you will be in the Royal Docks where Excel is. Only hosting business people over 25+ of age. Car park available.
    This room is in my back garden, entrance from the main door house. Shared bath room and toilet room. You will be able to use the kitchen even not offering breakfast you can store your meals in my fridge. Also you can enjoy my open area in my back garden, where smokers can use as they please. Royal Victoria Docks is 10 minutes walking from my house and is a live place with many restaurants and beautiful view to the river and docks. We have a friendly dog a Pomeranian called Teddy, so if you are allergic or afraid of dogs here is not a good place as he is very affectionate.

The O2 Arena (referred to as the North Greenwich Arena for the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics) is a 20,000 capacity venue, primarily used for live music. It is located at the centre of The O2 and is the first American-style, multi-purpose arena in London.   • Eli was an amazing host and nothing is too much for her to make you feel home and make your stay comfortable. Everything is fresh and clean: bed sheets, towels and the bathroom & the kitchen. I could easily cook my meal and wash my clothes too. Eli has a nice taste I loved the kitchen design and the fresh flowers on table. I will defenitly stay at her place again and I recomend her place for anyone who is looking for a clean room and easy access to central London as its only 2 min walk from Royal Victoria dlr station.

  • I will definitely recommend Eli's place. HOST: Eli is a hospitable and responsive host. PLACE: It was exceptionally clean, as her entire house. Well equipped kitchen. The dorm has an OK bed, wardrobe and plenty of space to keep your stuff. TUBE: The place is about 30 minutes away from city center by tube, and there's a DLR station (which connects to the tube) in a 1-minute walk from the house, so really easy access. CONS: The shower is awesome, but does not have a box. Therefore, the entire bathroom stay wet, making going to the loo not as pleasant as it could be! PRO: There is a lovely cat going around.

This is ideal for exploring this vast area, attend exhibitions, concerts and functions. A weekend was not enough and accordingly I am booking a week at xmas !!!

  • I really enjoyed staying at Sara’s. The flat is in an excellent location with all the amenities you can ask for. The flat is clean and spacious with a sleek kitchen and excellent views. The room was large and had an extremely comfortable bed. Large tv to watch you favorite shows and plenty of storage space for your things. The bathroom was a good size and a good shower. Sara was quick to respond to my initial message and continued to see if I was ok and needed anything during my stay. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to London.

Peter nous a donné toutes les indications nécessaires pour trouver le logement et était très à l'écoute sur toutes nos demandes, autant sur le logement que sur le séjour en général. Le logement était conforme à ce qui était décrit sur le site internet, chambre spacieuse avec tout le confort nécessaire et, visiblement refaite à neuf récemment. L'absence d'accès à la cuisine n'était pas gênant pour un court séjour puisque Peter avait mis une bouilloire à notre disposition. Le quartier était calme mais très bien situé en termes de transports en communs, métro, bus, de nuit comme de jour, et même navette aérienne!

L'appartement est à côté de la gare et les accès vers le centre de Londres sont nombreux, rapides et fréquents. La chambre est telle que décrite, spacieuse, lumineuse, très propre avec une salle de bain (Website hidden by Airbnb) d'une grande douche. Dommage que la vue soit bouchée par la construction d'un immense immeuble juste en face, mais pour un séjour court où on ne profite en fait de la chambre que la nuit, ce n'est pas du tout gênant. Je séjournerai avec plaisir chez Peter si je dois revenir à Londres.

The Largest Mall in Europe,Westfield, opened in 2011 with over 300 high-end fashion shops within; casino, cinemas, exceptional places to eat and drink is just 10min by DLR. Queen Elizabeth Park (The Olympic Park 2012) is now open for the public.

Le petit dejeuner très sympa aussi ( café , pain aux céreales toastés , confiture , beurre... ). La station de métro la plus proche est a 200m , c'est très pratique , on est vite arrivés dans le centre de Londres . Il nous reste juste a amméliorer un peu ( beaucoup ) notre anglais .   • Parfait pour un jeune couple! Nous sommes plutôt satisfait du séjour que nous avons passé chez Eli. Nous voulions un logement qui ne soit pas trop cher mais qui reste assez proche du centre de Londres. Cette offre a très bien répondu à nos besoins. Le trajet jusqu'au centre de Londres est très facile et plutôt rapide. Le quartier dans lequel est situé le logement est calme et proche d'une zone commercial agréablement aménagée (supermarché ouvert le dimanche après-midi !). La chambre est confortable et spacieuse. Notre intimité a été totalement respectée. La cuisine que nous partagions était très pratique et le petit déjeuner était offert par notre hôte. Finalement, nous recommandons cette offre et ce logement pour tous les couples ayant un budget moyen et qui veulent visiter Londres !

  • Nous avons passé un weekend en amoureux parfait chez Eli. La maison était très sympathique, la chambre confortable, tranquille, très propre et agréable, et enfin Eli extrêmement accueillante. Elle nous a même fait un petit snack à notre arrivée, alors que nous étions affamés, ce qui était très gentil. Le petit déjeuner est fourni et très pratique avant une journée d'exploration londonienne. La localisation de cet endroit est parfait, à 2 secondes de l'arrêt du train DLR et à une quinzaine de minutes du centre ville et des lignes principales de métro. Le quartier est aussi très sympa, avec le nouveau quartier des docks Victoria et la Tamise. Je recommande chaleureusement cet endroit, qui est parfait pour un couple voulant profiter quelques jours de Londres sans trop se ruiner. We spent a perfect romantic weekend at Eli's place. The house was charming, the bedroom very cosy, quite, clean and confortable, and Eli really welcoming. She even made us a little snack at our arrival, which was so kind. The breakfast was big and convinient to start a day of exploration. The location of the house is perfect, at 2 seconds of a train DLR stop and 15 minutes to Central London. The neighborood is also charming, with the docks Victoria and the Thames. I really recommend this place for couple who want to spend some days in London without spending a fortune.

    My flat is situated in the heart of the Royal Docks, the last to close from the complex of Docks from the Thames River. It is an historical part of the support to the trade for the British empire with ships coming from all over the world. It's such a great part of British history here. Today, this has of course ceased but the place had been reinventing itself into a very well put urban development where the main pool of attraction is The Excel Centre, the only cable car of London and the proximity of the airport makes it very desirable. The area is mainly animated during day time but is rather quite at night. There is few bars restaurant and breakfast places ( British, libanese, Thai, Italian ect ) a stone away from my flat. A grocery shop is open every single day from 7am until 11 pm just next door. Very convenient! Royal Victoria Dock station is just by my building. 30 second walk! This place is wonderfully linked: - The ExCel Exhibition Center ( 2 min walk) - London City Airport ( 15 min on the DLR ) - Canary Wharf ( 10min on the Tube ) - Oxford Circus / Bond Street ( 25 min on the Tube ) Activities: The cable car that goes straight to the O2 is right downstairs, by the flat Water sport activities are plenty on the dock itself

  • This is very conveniently located if you are visiting the ExCel and is about 1/3rd the price of a hotel. But note that you are just renting a room, nothing special - essentially a bed, storage and Wifi. It is a large room, 5th floor and is quiet, so if all you want to do is sleep before or after going to Excel then it is perfect. There is no access to shared areas - i.e. a kitchen for coffee (you can buy a Costa from Tesco next door) and if you are a business person then make sure you iron your clothes before arriving as there is also no access to an iron.

This worked well and each of us had their own bathroom. There is also a well-equipped kitchen and a pleasant garden with fruit trees. A supermarket on the waterfront is a short walk away, as is the DLR station. This worked perfectly for me.

  • Eli was a very accommodating host. This location is great for easy Tube access. Room was clean and breakfast was according to your needs. (Website hidden by Airbnb) was on business in London and found this location to be an inexpensive alternative to hotels. Consider the cost of staying with Eli vs a cost of a hotel room in London. Even with paying an extra 6 GBP on transportation and you save 40-80 GBP per day. A good deal and will stay again if I need a room for business or pleasure.

Canning Town station is situated located at 25 min by train from Bank station and there are two lines available: the DLR and Jubilee.     Small double room in a nice private Britannia Village development. Flat is located on the second floor (no lift). It is a 2 bedroom place with a living room, kitchen and bathroom. In your room you have a queen bed, wardrobe and a desk if you need to work.
    It is a peaceful neighborhood near the river Thames in east London. You're a couple of minutes from the Emirates Air Line, which is a cable car over the river.It will take you to the O2 in 15 minutes. Trinity Buoy Wharf is a dining and arts facility on the peninsula. You can get there in less than 20 minutes on the DLR. Within 10 min walk is London Royal Docks Open Water Swimming. It's not free, but at least you can take a dip in the water on a hot summer day. You'll also find a few wonderful cocktail lounges, coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

Tesco store is downstairs, also Nisa is a minute away.

    The apartment is a split level modern penthouse. I stay in the master bedroom and rent out the other two bedrooms on Airbnb. The views from the apartment have to be seen to be believed. We like to keep the space clean and tidy and hope guest do the same so we can all enjoy my home. My place is a relaxing haven to come back to after a long day in the city.
    The area is very safe and has a very modern feel to it. The gorgeous dock is perfect for long morning runs or sitting beside enjoying the sunshine (when we get it)! There are many restaurants in the area and grocery stores all within walking distance. There is also the Emirates cable car that takes you over to the O2 for a range of bars and restaurants.
  • Le logement est fidèle aux photos, et la vue est absolument incroyable. Très bien placé, proche des transports en commun. Il n'y avait personne dans le logement pendant notre séjour. En revanche, arrivée avant 20h sinon il faut payer 30 livres de plus ce que je trouve un peu embêtant ... Plusieurs personnes s'occupent de la location du logement, on reçoit des messages tout préparé au début, pendant et à la fin du séjour, très formel, ce qui m'a un peu dérangé. Un peu déçue sur l'aspect relationnel.

The penthouse is very nice and we felt like home. We enjoyed so much our first AirBnB experience, that we are currently seriously thinking to open shop in Bucharest :) Looking forward to our next visit to London as we are definitely going to stay at the same place.   • first of all- Rommana and Adeel were amazing hosts, they are very kind and very communicative :) we sat an entire evenin talking with them and we had a lot of fun we also had a total privacy. the room was very clean,cosey with a great view we had a private bathroom which was clean we enjoyed every moment there! we felt very comfortable around the apartment because of the hospitality :) their place location is amazing, less than a minute away from the excel center, there are two local stores a minute away, and two.minutes away from royal victoria station. we definitely will be staying there again next time we will come visit London! yes yes!

  • This was my third AirBnB experience and I can say it has simply been the best. We were having a dilemma between two properties and ultimately chose Rommana’s place and couldn’t have made a better decision. We had a long flight and were very tired when we arrived at Rommana’s ExCel London Penthouse. The moment they showed us our room, all our tiredness vanished. The breathtaking views from the large French windows in our bedroom did what they were meant to – took our breath away. Every picture that you see on their AirBnB listing is exactly what you will get. Beautiful spaces, excellent amenities, and stunning views. We had access to the entire floor that included the kitchen and the main living area with its large balcony and brilliant views of the river, docks, and lights. The bed and bath linen and the washroom were very clean. We were given a generous supply of towels. The room itself was large enough to hold five pieces of luggage. The natural light in the room is simply amazing. Every morning we woke up to beautiful views of a brilliant, sunny morning or rains pouring across the city. The twinkling lights of the Emirates Cable Cars will invite you to take a ride across the Thames. So, what you will be paying for is not just an accommodation, but a million-dollar view every day. It’s worth every bit and you will never regret it. Access to Central London is a breeze as the DLR station is literally a two-minute walk from the place and it will take anywhere between 10 to 40 minutes to anywhere in London by the London Underground, which worked perfectly for us. There’s a Tesco Express and other supermarkets right across the street and a few restaurants and cafes on the ground floor. If you walk around to the other/back-side of the apartment complex, you will get another quiet expanse of scenic views for a leisurely breakfast or meal. Hosts Rommana and Adeel are warm and very friendly. They made us feel at home from the first minute and not just opened their home, but also their hearts. A big thank you to Adeel for helping us with the luggage from the outside to the elevator.   • On arrival Adeel was very welcoming and patient as my check-in was much later than expected. I was also delighted to discover some chicken noodle soup and ramen noodles in the kitchen cupboards, as after a long day travelling I arrived very late in the night and was too tired to order food. Communication was excellent, quick, and very helpful. The pictures of the apartment are already stunning, but to be completely honest they do not do it justice! Walk in and you are greeted with a warm welcoming homely vibe that makes you want to jump into a warm cozy bed. But, after taking a peek out of the balcony you can be swept away by the stunning view of the o2 within an arms reach, with the scintillating city lights reflecting off the thames river.   • We really enjoyed staying at Adeel's place. It was very close to the O2 (which was what we wanted) and also convenient to get into the centre of London to go out and about. There are some very good restaurants close by, but the kitchen is well enough set up to be able to cook a decent meal too, with plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery - which isn't always the case. The view from the front room/balcony over the dock is fabulous, and we loved that we were almost at the end of the runway for City Airport as we love watching planes!! And there is always something happening in the dock too. The flat is lovely and spacious, plenty of light and also warm and cosy. Comfortable beds - even the sofa bed which I slept on. I would certainly recommend this apartment and hope to stay there again next year when the tennis is on at the O2 - if not before! :)

  • The location is great, spacious and close to transportation. Communication was terrible. It was not a personal experience like what we had with our other hosts. The experience felt like they have a ton of properties and well that's it. The apartment needs some work. The carpeting was in really bad conduction. We pulled the blinds back and they just fell down. The toilets looked like they had been wiped on the outside but that's it. The shower was clogged. If Airbnb would have responded in time I would have changed my reservation to somewhere else due to the communication problems alone. Airbnb did apologize for that however.

  • We stayed here whilst working at the Excel for a long weekend. It’s the perfect location with just a 5 minute walk up the roads and you’re there. It’s great that there’s a Tesco right nearby so you can stock up on food easily, plus really close to the train station. The place itself was perfect. Had all the mod cons, comfy beds and everything else you could need. Much better than staying in a hotel.

    We do not allow parties of any form. Please so not ask us if you can have any type of party or event. This is purely for residential purposes only. This is a warehouse beautifully converted to apartments that is a stone's throw from Excel. The space is a clean and modern flat that is ideally hidden in a docks This luxury apartment is done up to the highest standards and has all the modern conveniences including fully equipped kitchen, wattle kettle, microwave, TV, Iron, hairdryer, and all cooking utensils.
    The neighbourhood boasts several 3-4 star hotels in the area (Crown Plaza, Ibis) and is perfectly located beside the dock where you will benefit from the stunning dock that is bustling with live and character when the weather is good. It also have Tesco and Nisa supermarkets right in front of the development. There is also Japanese, Chinese, Caribbean, Mediterranean restaurant and also the Docklands bar and grill in Crown Plaza hotel if you are ever in need of food. This is a very quiet and safe neighbourhood. London City Airport is close by, so expect to get occasional noise from the Aeroplanes. But this is not much of a problem as the Airport is not a very busy one and flights are only in the day time. There are loads of restaurants and Hotels next to the Excel Exhibition centre where you can unwind whenever you are in the neighbourhood or you can hop on the Cable Car just across the river to the O2 state-of-the-art Event Centre.

  • The exterior of the place looked a bit sketchy but there was a code that was needed in order to enter the building so it was nice knowing that people that weren't staying there couldn't just come in and out. The place was clean, and simple. Don't expect hotel level cleanliness but it was a comfortable place to sleep and get ready in. The bathroom was very spacious with a big mirror too which was nice for my group to get ready for our NYE celebrations. There was also a full sized refrigerator in the kitchen to store your own food if you wished to cook there. The wifi password was given to us but it ultimately didn't work which was a let down but not a huge deal since we did not stay in the flat for too long. We never had to make contact with the host himself to check in or check out because we had clear directions on how to get to access our flat which was appreciated and allowed for more freedom on our end.

  • DO NOT STAY HERE. This listing is incorrect. We booked with Alex a couple months ago and were expecting the ‘Luxury en suite double bedroom’. Alex met us and said that the address had changed which we thought was very odd, but he insisted he would take us to the accommodation. We turned up to a family home and what seemed to be one of Alex’s friends’ house in which he was living with his young child. The listing is completely incorrect. We were taken to a double bedroom and expected to share the family bathroom which was not in the least bit ‘luxury’, and not at all what we had paid for. The photos seen in the listing are photos of a completely different home. Alex said that he’d told us previously that the address had changed, which he hadn’t, and tried to make out that it was our fault for not realising it was a different listing. We want a full refund and do not recommend that anyone book with Alex.

The family who actually hosted me were lovely and looked after me well, but being given no information about the change beforehand when the host knew that arrangements would need to change, was not acceptable. Le vrai problème concerne la prestation. Le logement en question s'est avéré être sa propre chambre, qui n'avait été ni nettoyée ni vidée de ses affaires. De plus, Waqqas ne possédant pas de double du badge pour la porte d'enrée, j'ai été obligé de sonné chez les voisins expliquant mon problème afin de pouvoir accéder à l'appartement. Il est très surprenant d'arriver dans un tel environnement pour une location de ce type. Je ne recommande pas...

    The apartment is a split level modern penthouse. I stay in the master bedroom and rent out the other two bedrooms on Airbnb. The views from the apartment have to be seen to be believed. We like to keep the space clean and tidy and hope guest do the same so we can all enjoy my home. My place is a relaxing haven to come back to after a long day in the city.
    The area is very safe and has a very modern feel to it. The gorgeous dock is perfect for long morning runs or sitting beside enjoying the sunshine (when we get it)! There are many restaurants in the area and grocery stores all within walking distance. There is also the Emirates cable car that takes you over to the O2 for a range of bars and restaurants.
  • This place is fantastic value for your money. Clean, spacious, and incredibly close to ExCel and a rail station. The bed and sheets are more comfortable than some hotel rooms I've stayed in! (Note: I like firmer mattresses, and this was one.) Romanna and Adeel are hands-off and respectful of your space, but extremely accommodating when you need help. I will not hesitate to stay here for future events I attend at ExCel!

There is a private restroom for every bedroom and (for me particularly important) a super comfortable bed. The hosts themselves are very nice people that are very open minded and nice. I enjoyed very nice conversations with them. I’d definitely recommend staying there.

  • Rommana and Adeel are 2 really amazing hosts who takes good care of those living in their home. Their responses are quick and they helped answering if I had any questions or worries. The apartment is very conveniently placed close to the O2 arena but there is also an underground station nearby that can take you to central London in about 30 minutes. The whole apartment is very stylish and clean, you are definitely getting what you paid for. I would definitely come back for another visit!

  • I had a pleasant stay, check in/out process was wast. The hosts were friendly and inclusive, very helpful with recommendations of places to visit and transport options. We had lovely conversations around the dining table and they respected my privacy at all times. Note the guest room doesn’t have an A/C and could have been cleaner, but overall very happy and would stay again! The apartment is conveniently accessible via DLR and certainly close proximity to the City Airport, which means it can be noisy with flights above but it didn’t bother me

  • Stayed here for 5 nights. The place is very close to Excel and is ideal if you are attending a trade show there (which was the case for me). Public transport (DLR and Emirates cable car) are within 5 minute walk which makes it convenient even for visiting other locations in London. The room I stayed in was very clean and big and has a private bathroom (which is next door in the hallway). Kitchen is well equipped in case one wishes to cook (I did not cook). Hosts were very responsive on messaging as well as on phone. Had a wonderful stay!
