Sweet room in quiet neighborhood. 12 minutes from both downtowns (Minneapolis & St. Paul). Breakfast of coffee/tea and homemade granola included.
You'll be welcomed by Sosan, a meditation teacher, and her husband Rob, an arts journalist, plus their 3 sweet cats, Domino, Jane and Puck. Microwave, mini-fridge, electric kettle and coffee maker are in your room. Breakfast of homemade granola, milk, coffee and tea is provided.
The Hamline-Midway neighborhood is a relatively quiet neighborhood, but holding many attractions. These include: two independent coffee shops - Gingko and Groundswell, Midway Books (the best used & rare bookstore in the Twin Cities), and Axman Surplus (a goofy, fun shopping experience). We have a wealth of small restaurants with cuisines including Turkish, Vietnamese, Korean, Ethiopian, Chinese and Thai, in addition to the usual fare of pizza, fast food and chain diners. We are also near Cub, Super Target and Walmart.
  • This place is comfortable, cozy and well appointed for a bargain price. The host couple were gracious and happy to share info about places to go nearby. The homemade granola in the room and a private mini fridge (along with the friendly cat) were unexpected bonuses. I will be back for sure!

  • Nice little home, with wood floors and nice decor. I especially appreciated being able to get some cross-ventilation during the humid stormy nights

  • thanks for being so hospitable and lenient with check in and check out. also very kind of them to hold onto some things i forgot until i could retrieve them.

  • Rob and Sosan provide a 'homey home' with friendly cats. They are very nice people who went out of their way to help me in an unusual situation. It was a good experience overall.

    Mike2018-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Sosan and Rob were just as I expected from their host profile, and I was delighted to meet them. I visit St. Paul regularly and hope to return to this comfortable spot that met all my needs. P.S. Sosan's homemade granola was as delicious as all the reviews said

Situated between downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, we welcome you to our home. Quiet, but also within walking distance to places like Blackstack Brewing, CanCan Wonderland, and the Light Rail train stations - this is the perfect launch pad to help you explore the Twin Cities. We look forward to having you. Cheers.
Enjoy this newly renovated apartment, within our two unit duplex. Outfitted to help you relax for a night in reading, playing cards, or cooking. Built in 1884, this space also offers history and character not seen in newer homes. In warmer months, our neighborhood is filled with greenery, and is welcoming for long walks to explore. We also have a fenced in backyard for your use that's perfect for enjoying a nice summer night.
Within a few minute walk, we have Blackstack Brewing which specializes in world class IPAs, kettle sours, and stouts - CanCan Wonderland if you're into put-put golf, arcade games, self serve beer stations - and short walks to parks, bus stops, train stations, and more. Within a few minute drive, we have some of the best Vietnamese and Thai food on the planet (we recommend Pho79), along with Dogwood Coffee, Hampden Co-op for groceries, vintage shops, other breweries, and more. It's also situated directly between downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, so within about a 10 minute drive you can reach many of the treats our cities have to offer.
  • Jeff's place was the best! Super clean and cozy with a very comfortable bed and couch. It was a great location and we easily were able to use the metro and light rail. Definitely reccomend

    Ally2019-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a nice little place to stay in. It was a perfect place to stay after a busy work weekend away from home. The couch and bed were super cozy, the kitchen was a great space to hangout in and get a bit of work done in the morning with coffee, and there were delicious cookies! Jeff was great with response time, and check-in was very convenient and easy. The place reflects what you see in the listing really well, and overall, I enjoyed my stay and look forward to booking the place again. As a side note, my friend and I who stayed had been talking about how disappointed we were that the last few air BnBs we stayed in had only Keurigs for coffee, but they had a french press, whole bean coffee, and a grinder all set out for our use. Definitely a plus for us.

This quiet and safe neighborhood is an easy walk to the University of Minnesota St Paul campus.
  • This is my second time staying with Sara and Dave. They are wonderful people. Any time I plan on traveling in the Minneapolis - St.Paul area I stay here. I like the location and they have a clean, comfortable home. Thanks again Sara!

    Amber2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Sara and Dave are perfect airbnb hosts. Even though this was my first trip, I couldn't have felt more comfortable. Even the pets treat you like you belong! Go ahead and book a stay.

    Bruce2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • I loved staying with Sara and Dave! The room was clean, inviting, and comfortable, and the house is just beautiful. It was everything the listing promised and then some! They are wonderful people, made me feel very welcome, and made sure I had everything I needed, including providing help-yourself breakfast items and fresh coffee in the morning. I would stay there again anytime! Highly recommended.

    Birgit2016-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • The only thing I regret is that I couldn’t have stayed longer! Amazingly clean and stylish house with the friendliest hosts you’ll ever meet. Sara was so awesome and made me feel like a member of the family. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in the area. Can not recommend enough!! Absolute 5-Star hospitality.

    Nathan2018-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Sara and Dave are wonderful people, and staying with them feels like staying with kind relatives. Their house is artful and well kept; the rooms are practical, comfortable, and clean. They offered breakfast items daily, and helped me get groceries while I was in the area without a vehicle. They had great input about things to do in the area. Their pets are adorable and the environment at home was relaxing. The UMN campus close by is very pretty. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

  • Great hosts! Lovely people. A comfortable and cute place to rest.

    Kalyan2018-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great time staying with Sara and Dave! They were very accommodating and always helpful if I needed anything or had any questions. The location was wonderful and easy commute into St. Paul or Minneapolis. It's a quite safe area of town. I'll be back soon!

    Amber2016-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Not only was this the best Airbnb experience I've had, it's hard to imagine how it could have been better. A very nice, conveniently located house with great hosts (and pets). It has everything you could want and more from an airbnb, I'll definitely stay here again if I need a place in Mpls/St Paul!

Because Airbnb no longer allows hosts to view pics of potential guests, I don't feel safe having unverifiable male strangers. Space is for women only. I provide a quiet, comfortable place in St. Paul 8 blocks (15 min. walk) to light rail, bus, & all the Cities have to offer. The room does NOT have AC but fan is provided. This is something you must know if you are heat sensitive.
You will have access to a private bedroom in the upper level with a comfy futon bed, a chair to relax in, and space to stretch out. You will also have access to a private bathroom two flights of stairs down. The guest bathroom includes toiletries and is near the washer and dryer. If you need to do a load of laundry, please just ask. Also note that there is NOT air conditioning in the rented space, although it is in the main level and basement. Since the guest bathroom is on a different floor from the room being rented, you will need to walk through the house with a towel or robe unless you dress in the bathroom after showering. I do provide a clean robe for your use while you are here if necessary. Our cats and small dog are friendly and welcome soft petting. They roam the common areas but are kept out of your space for your comfort.
This space is walking distance from a unique new site called the Can Can Wonderland and Blackstack brewery, where you can enjoy different beverages, play mini golf and a variety of old school pinball games, take in a live show, or sit in a quiet corner and relax. It is very popular in the area. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The street where the house is located is quiet and safe. Street parking is free and readily available. If there are parking restrictions due to a city snow emergency, I will let you know so your car is not towed. The home is a fifteen minute walk from light rail and Metro Transit bus lines.
  • Laura's place was a good clean place to stay the night between 2 festivals in the Twin Cities I sold my work at. The setup of the house is a little confusing and I couldn't figure out how to shut the lockbox, and it's in a little residential area not really super close to anything, but other than that it was fine.

    Chris2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place with a great price! Laura is very welcoming and friendly. Close to public transportation and uni.

    Eugeniu2019-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • My stay with Laura was my first Airbnb experience, and I couldn't have asked for better! She and her daughter were so welcoming, she answered all of my questions, and I felt right at home for the duration of my stay. I'd definitely recommend staying with her!

    Lizzy2018-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Laura's the weekend of the Twin Cities Marathon. It was a great location for the race, just 7-10 minute walk to the green rail and right in the middle of St Paul and Minneapolis. Highly recommend to anyone who is either running the marathon or wants a good location to visit the Twin Cities

    Andrea2018-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Laura is a very sweet host. She communicated very efficiently and in a timely manner that made my check-in/check-out very smooth. Room was very clean and comfortable and she provided a lot of amenities including toiletries, towels, food and coffee! My stay was short but she made me feel very welcome and comfortable, and her pets are very friendly :)

    Amanda2018-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • I love everything about this place. Laura really put thoughts into the decorations and functionality of this Airbnb place

    Changhao2018-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Laura was a very welcoming host! She was quick to respond to my questions beforehand and was very flexible with everything. Checking in and out was easy. She was very welcoming once I arrived and was open to having conversations with the guests. She also had toiletries for me to use, which was great because I forgot to pack my toothpaste. She also opened up her kitchen and had simple breakfast food like bagels and granola bars in stock for the guests. Overall it was a very enjoyable visit!

    Ji2018-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Laura exemplifies hospitality. The weather was very hot and she was more than accommodating so that I was comfortable. Laura's place is in a great location. I didn't get to explore too much but there is a great local brewery within walking distance. I would stay here again!.

  • Emily was a great guest. Communication with her was super fast and she helped us with whatever we needed. I mixed up the date where my reservation would have ended, and she helped us pack while cleaning up the house to make sure that the next guest would have a great experience when arriving. Location was fantastic! 10 min drive to either Saint Paul or Minneapolis.

    Diego2018-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was almost great but I think we’ll settle on good. For starters, the place was bigger than I expected which was great! The location was great and the house was cute. The first night we were exhausted and didn’t know where to get food so we ran to the Whole Foods that was 2miles down the road which was very convenient. The house ended up being pretty central to all the places we needed to go. Overall it was very nice. Now for the parts that could use a touch of work, the shower was odd at best. It was a bathtub that was converted to a shower, which is not a deal breaker. The odd part was the plastic curtain that completely surrounded and touched you at all times. I’m sure there is a need and a purpose for it to be that way, it was just uncomfortable. The “sofa” was also uncomfortable, which again is not a deal breaker, it was just a bummer to not have anywhere comfortable to hang out except the bedroom which is on the second floor. The last thing, which was honestly our only real complaint was the lack of communication. There was a mishap at the end of our stay that could’ve been avoided by a simple text or message. We were running close to checkout time, it had been a long night before and a little message telling us she was on her way would’ve been appreciated and could’ve definitely avoided some anxiety and stress on both parts. There is definitely shared responsibility and we apologize for not being prompt. Over all, I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to St. Paul looking for a great deal. The neighborhood was beautiful and felt completely safe.

    Alexis2018-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great value, the house was way better than expected and great location! Definitely worth the stay

  • Sara's home was lovely. It was exactly where we wanted to be to attend the Minnesota State Fair. We couldn't ask for a more friendly and nicer host.

    Beki2016-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Sara and her husband Dave have a lovely home. This is my first time in Twin Cities, and I am glad that I met them to help me. On my first night, Sara had prepared dinner for me to so I could feel welcome and at home. Even after the first night, she still provides dinner from time to time. Sara prepares coffee every morning and provides whatever you like for breakfast. I stayed in the winter and they put a heater in my room that I can control. Also, the bed is extremely comfortable and they have a closet and a dresser for use. Sara and Dave are very friendly and very hospitable to guests. They really want you to feel welcome in their home and I couldn't be happier that I chose them for my airbnb stay.

    Marshall2016-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Sara was Great, she text messaged me an initial Hello. And upon our very late night arrival, she was awake to welcome and introduce us to the room and house layout. Their home is warm and welcoming and we would go back, if our future travels take us to St. Paul/Minneapolis, MN.

    Angela (Angie)2016-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • The ad for this place should read comfortable, sparkling and inviting because that's exactly how it was. I was warmly welcomed by Sara, Dave, Saski and Jackson. I stayed for an interview at the vet school nearby early the morning after I got there and found it very helpful to have been able to help myself to breakfast beforehand as well as the next day. The bed was super comfortable and the temperature in the room was perfect for me (no heat) but Sara always made sure I was warm enough, offering me a space heater to keep in the room. The house was beautiful and bathroom fully equipped, I had everything I needed and more. Sitting in the living room next to the fireplace with Sara at night was perfect. I got delivery from New Fresh Wok for dinner which worked out perfectly for $20. During the day I was able to conveniently walk to a bus stop nearby and took the 61 downtown which took about 40 minutes, only for 1.75 which was perfect. Very comfy pillows also, and sunny, pretty room. Super reasonable price for such a great stay, I would recommend this place to anyone over a hotel that would cost twice as much. Very happy with my stay, thank you Sara and Dave!

    Victoria2017-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Pleasant neighborhood, we were completely comfortable taking an evening walk. Their home is clean, orderly, and there was no confusion re: recycling, available food and beverage, or any house rules. We felt very comfortable in their home.

Private country living right in the middle of the Twin Cities metro. Across from MN State Fair, U of MN St. Paul Campus, 10 minutes to either downtown Minneapolis or St. Paul by car. Pampering provided. Comfy beds, extra pillows & blankets. Plush towels, toiletries, shared guest living room with cable TV, mini fridge, kettle and microwave. I will prepare a varied breakfast daily. Includes yogurts, fruit, juice, cereals plus a baked homemade item. Fresh baked cookies provided each evening.
The top two comments we receive from our satisfied guests are: #1. We have the best, most convenient location in the twin cities. Quiet country/park like neighborhood right in the middle of the metro area. #2. Special attention to details, cleanliness, amenities and perks way beyond expectations. We love to share our unique home with others. It was designed by my husband, architect Kevin Busch. It is very open, light-filled, yet private at the same time. Our home is called Theatre of the Seasons and this is our Starry Night guest room. Your private bedroom will be on the upper level and includes a double (full) bed, an over-sized full bath plus a half bath powder room on main level that are reserved for guest only use. There is an airy game/conversation area upstairs in the main loft open space plus a huge living room complete with TV with premium cable, microwave and mini refrigerator. Hosts do not share any guest spaces. The main floor living area is our private space. Once greeted you come and go as you please. We offer two Airbnb rooms on the upper level. If someone’s booking overlaps yours the the giant two room full bath and the extra powder room and common areas are shared. Since I accommodate late check-ins there are special provisions if a guest is already booked in my other room. To respect the sleep and comfort of all guests - check ins after 10 pm are requested not to shower if other guest has gone to bed and to use main floor powder room the evening of late check in. Also included is high speed WiFi, access to coffee maker, toaster, and overflow food storage bin in owners kitchen. Electric hot water kettle is upstairs at the cookie station for easy access. Please note rental does NOT include use of our family kitchen or meal preparation facilities other than the microwave in your guest living area. In season we will serve you fresh blueberries, black raspberries, cherries, strawberries and honey crisp apples - all of which we grow on our land. If you need two rooms or want to see if our other room is booked please check out our Nature room.
Falcon Heights is the most highly desirable neighborhood in the Twin Cities. It’s 10 minutes to either downtown and the best bus routes are right at the end of our street. It's has lovely homes on oversized property. Our home is at the end of a cul-de-sac providing privacy, limited traffic and intimate neighborhood relationships. Mature trees, walking paths and parks abound. Lots of farmlands nearby makes it feel like living in the country, but we are very convenient to both Minneapolis and St. Paul. Feel free to stroll in the community gardens immediately north of our property. Many University of Minnesota professors live in Falcon Heights because it is so convenient. We have frequently hosted visiting faculty, international professionals for continuing education programs and others who have business at the University or one of the many local corporate business headquarters nearby. We are located across the street from St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota where a visit will lead you to farm animals, a raptor center and horticulture student gardens. I’ve had many bee keepers come to visit our internationally famous bee research facility. We are also an easy walk across the street to the Minnesota State Fair. Held late August through Labor Day. Please book early places go fast. The brand new Bell Center Museum which features a digital planetarium, high-tech exhibits, famous wildlife dioramas, outdoor learning experiences is blocks away. This and the Gibbs Farm Museum just across the street are 3 blocks from our home. Gibbs allows visitors to step back in time to experience pioneer and Dakota life with historical programming and costumed guides. You can easily get anywhere from here. Falcon Heights is the most central location in the Twin Cities
  • I stayed with Felicia and her family on a short course at the vet school at the University of Minnesota. The vet college was only a 15-20 minute walk, so ideal for anyone going there for interviews, courses etc. Felicia was very kind, welcoming, thoughtful and friendly! The room was lovely, as was the bathroom, everything was clean and tidy with everything you could need. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of snacks were provided which was amazing. Would definitely stay here again f I was going to the vet school. Uber from the airport was about $26 which I thought was reasonable! go running and found the area was very safe, flat and easy to navigate on my morning jogs. And finally the lovely fanmily dog, Brooks, is adorable. Thanks Felicia :)

    Ali2018-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • We were a bit hesitant at first staying in someone's home while they were living there, but Felicia and her family really made us feel right at home while still having our privacy. The house is located in a very quiet, family-friendly neighborhood right off a major bus line which made it easy to access both of the twin cities. We stayed in the Starry Night room which had such fun decor and plenty of room for two. The bed was comfortable, including plenty of quilts and blankets to keep us warm. By far the best thing about staying here was Felicia! She is so friendly and welcoming, willing to help out where ever she can, and went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. To top it all off, she really takes pride in the "breakfast" part of B&B by offering fruit, yogurt, granola, juice, and coffee...and a very scrumptious homemade item that changes daily, whether it be banana bread, blueberry muffins, or savory bread. She even made fresh cookies each night for a nightcap with herbal tea. We highly recommend staying at this unique home that will make you feel like a kid again! Complete with big friendly dog Brooks that loves to be petted and hugged. Thank you Felicia for making our trip so much fun and for the great to-go snack bag for the early morning plane ride home. You are the best!!!!

    Misha2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Felicia is the best Airbnb you can ever ask for coming from me who have stayed in more than 15 Airbnbs. Felicia is the definition of hospitality; I wish every Airbnb host is like her. Airbnb should hire Felicia as their ambassador. Felicia prepared breakfast every morning, and home made cookies every night for her guests.

    Chuck2017-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • I have never slept so soundly - the bed is incredible! And my breakfast was perfectly what I wanted!!

    Susanne2017-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough good things about Felicia's place and her family's hospitality to do them justice. This trip was my first time using AirBnB, and Felicia set the bar incredibly high for any future places I end up staying at. The location is beautiful and very well-kept, and Felicia made every effort to accommodate me and make sure I felt welcome and at home during my stay. To sum up my experience, I'll say this. I usually pack my itinerary very full on my trips, so I often find that I come back home exhausted and burnt out. My itinerary for this trip was as full as any I've ever put together (not to mention it was my first time flying and dealing with the related headaches), but I nonetheless woke up for my first day back at work this morning relaxed, rejuvenated, and ready to hit the daily grind again, and I'm certain that staying at Felicia's place is what made the difference.

    Damian2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very easy and comfortable to stay here. Felicia, Kevin, and Brooks (their friendly giant dog), are such good hosts. I can tell they genuinely like people, they are interesting to talk to, and they have made their home very welcoming to travelers. Some other notes on logistics of travel in the area: - work: 10-15 min walk to U of MN St Paul ag campus - food: restaurants I tried within a 20 min walking distance include: Mim's Cafe (Mediterranean hole-in-the-wall place) and Stout's pub (avg American bar food) - transit: from the airport, it was a $2 hour-long light rail/ subway right on the blue line to downtown, then the 61 bus to Falcon Heights, which dropped me off at the end of their street - entertainment: the Institute of Art museum off of 24th and Nicollet was great, but the Mill City Museum not worth the price

    Jessie2018-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • I recently stayed in Felicia’s home for 6 nights while on business. I chose it mainly for location because of the close proximity to my office. I was pleasantly surprised by the quiet dead end street so conveniently close to the campus, shopping, restaurants, and highways. The home is situated on a beautiful property with quiet neighbors. It is very open and light offering the homey lived in feel of a happy family. The common area on the second floor is shared with other guests but still offers enough separation and privacy. Everything I needed was available to me, beverages, snacks, tea, clean towels, linens, etc..Felicia is a very accommodating hostess who goes the extra mile serving hot coffee and fresh breakfast each morning, but the best part was the warm cookies at night. She and her husband really made me feel welcome always offering a warm greeting and friendly conversation. I will definitely try to book with them when I’m in the Twin Cities!

Modern chic little plot of bright, open homey-ness in a cute, centrally located, single-family-home neighborhood in St Paul. Close to the Como Zoo and the State Fair grounds. A 15 minute drive from downtown Minneapolis or St. Paul, and an 8 block walk to a light rail access point. Backyard picnic table and fire pit. Two single hammocks upon request.
My house is a duplex and I have permanent renters in the upstairs unit. They have 2 cats. Occasionally you will hear my renters coming and going or you may hear their cats playing upstairs but overall it is very quiet. The entrance to their unit is on the side of the house. You’ll be entering the main unit via the main entrance in the front of the house right at the top of the steps. There is a door in my hallway that leads to the side entrance. Please keep that door locked. Thanks!
There are 2 great parks and a tennis court all within one block of my house. Nearby restaurants and places I recommend: Groundswell - adorable coffee shop with great food and baked goods Can Can Wonderland - arcade games and mini golf, food and other entertainment. Bole - Ethiopian restaurant with cozy vibe Sota - rolled ice cream!

Beautiful 1800's Victorian Mansion, Private room, Private living room with pull out couch, Desk, TV, Cable, Wifi
  • Ryan’s mansion was absolutely stunning with a lot of antique charm and personality. The place was quiet and very comfortable. The room was much bigger than it looked in the picture. It’s in a great area where you can access absolutely anything you want in the Twin Cities area. I will definitely be back!

  • The best Airbnb your money can buy!! If you don’t mind sharing a bathroom and kitchenette, for dirt cheap you can basically get your own suite. It is spacious, clean, well decorated and super centric!! 100% recommend!!!

    Ramon2019-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • The place is clean, bigger than it looks, and easy to navigate around town from. There's quite a bit of rooms on each floor and shared bathrooms.

Upper 1 bedroom duplex in midway area of St Paul. Midway between downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis. Sleeps 2. Queen bed in bedroom. Full futon in living room. 1 mile to light rail. Quiet residential neighborhood. Easy check in with own code. Owner lives downstairs. Close to many universities and the State Fairgrounds. No smoking or pets due to allergies. Also, I can not accommodate children younger than 12 years old as the apartment is not child proof.
There is a wonderful claw foot tub in the bathroom as well as a shower in the tub. Just be aware that the top of the tub is 2 ft off the floor to get into the tub to use the shower or tub. I do have a step at the end of the tub that can be used to assist you.
Quiet residential neighborhood. Tennis courts and a park are a couple blocks away. Also a couple blocks away area brewery, indoor mini golf course and arcade venue, and an axe throwing venue.
  • Jeanne's apt is very adequate and comfortable. Well supplied with all necessities.

  • This was a lovely little bedroom/bathroom/kitchen/living room. The pictures are accurate but one thing to keep in mind about the bathtub is that it is rather high off the floor so it takes some flexibility to get in and out. We are both 61 and we did ok, but it's something to consider. Otherwise, everything was clean and in good repair. Jeanne really thought of everything in the way of food and information. The bed was comfortable. Though it's listed as a shared entrance, really it's more like a private entrance. We would stay here again.

  • This place was super cozy and welcoming! There were nice personal touches and great amenities. Would absolutely return.

    Hannah2019-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great! It's a finished attic space that is cozy, yet spacious. The decor is pleasant and everything is well stocked from coffee/tea to bath salts and bubbles. With the warm fireplace to sit around, a jacuzzi, multiple TVs, and a great 3rd story view, it was a perfect place to spend a cold winter weekend.

    Heath2019-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Ryan's mansion loft is a cozy, private retreat in the middle of the city! The keyless entry made check-in and coming and going easy. Ryan is a prompt and effective communicator and thoughtful host.

  • My experience was amazing, I think that one of the most important things is one that someone cannot find easily, and that is that your host will treat you like family, and a friend. Who else will give you fruit and food before going to office, like your mom? Well, let me tell you, he does. A very reliable, trustworthy, and excellent person. Regarding to the neighborhood the place is very safe, very close to the state fair, amazing Asian restaurants, auto repair services, and gas stations are very close as well.

    Marcelo2015-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • This is a nice, clean, basic place to stay - - not fancy or frilly but comfortable (I'd call it shabby-chic), and in a central location to Twin Cities attractions. We had a nice stay and would definitely stay here again.

    Karen2018-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Sam's place is a great deal for an entire apartment that's very convenient and centrally located in the Midway area.

    Jeremiah2018-12-13T00:00:00Z
  • Sam was there to meet us and provide all the necessary details. Apartment was as described and parking was no issue. Also close to gas stations and Ginko coffee house (yum!). I was already familiar with the 'hood (very charming) right by Hamline University and it's fairly close to the Green Line light rails stops at Snelling and Hamline, so easy access to both downtowns. I should also point out that the apt was super-quiet at night, so really easy to get a good night's sleep. And the beds are perfectly comfy.

Newly renovated home in Hamline-Midway neighborhood with easy access to downtown Minneapolis & St. Paul! 15 minute walk to light rail. Quiet street but popular neighborhood, with 7 trendy breweries, 5 cozy coffee shops, and a multitude of unique local restaurants and entertainment venues, including the Turf Club, CanCan Wonderland, Sundin Music Hall, FlannelJax, and more all within a 2 mile radius!
This is the lower level of a duplex (upper level is unoccupied and under construction) that has been completely remodeled this year. It has the charm of the original 1890 build with new features, style, and amenities. Its proximity to both downtowns via light rail make it a great spot to spend your trip! Amenities include washer and dryer in the bathroom, tv/Chromecast, wifi, towels, soap, & coffee machine. There is also a strict no-party policy. This is my home that I have remodeled myself, and while Airbnb guests typically take good care during their stay, additional people in a party atmosphere do not always show that same respect for the space. Thank you!
  • Place was just as advertised. Easy communication with Francis. I would definitely stay here again

We had lunch around the corner at a great Korean place that I suggest you go to while you visit. Francis was quick to respond to any questions that we had. Francis' place was clean and comfortable and I would love to stay there in future visits.

    Beth2017-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Dave and Deb are amazing hosts. Their description of what you will experience at their home is 100% accurate. This was my first Airbnb stay and they set the bar pretty high! Their home is located in a neighborhood that has a small town feel right in between St. Paul and Minneapolis. I am already planning to stay there for more of the classes I will be taking.

    Beth2017-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great neighborhood and a historic and interesting home. Location is great too, being between the two cities and only a short trip to the airport. The pictures are accurate and the room and house was clean and comfortable. Above all, Deb really makes you feel comfortable. She went well beyond my expectations to ensure my stay was a good experience. Check in/out was super easy. Overall just a really good experience, definitely will be back.

  • Deb and Dave are fabulous and I highly recommend staying with them while in the twin cities. The location is perfect and the hosts made us feel at home and like family from check in. The level of communication before our trip was top notch and put us at ease. Deb and Dave were a wealth of knowledge about entertainment/dining options, as well as how to navigate the -area. We miss them already and hope to return!

    Julie2018-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time at Deb and Dave's. You won't find nicer hosts. We did not know there is another guest room now. Although we did not see the other guests I did hear them come back at night. Floors are creaky but it's part of the charm of the house. My husband did not hear quests. Very cute neighborhood and felt very safe. Clean, neat space with comfortable bed!

  • We stayed at Andy's home for our residency at Hamline University. There were five of us in all and we had more than enough space for relaxation and quiet in between a busy schedule. The home is well equipped for an extended stay and we really appreciated laundry inside and homey touches like DVDs to watch. The neighborhood was quiet and even had a beautiful community garden across the street. Our hosts, Andy and Rachel were absolutely wonderful - great communication, provided easy checkin and check out, and accessible during our stay for questions. Thanks again for such a great experience!

I was fortunate to have Earl as a host as an unexpected situation arose with my car. Earl was helpful with his time and made my situation much better. A gracious host with a very interesting life story. Recommended and well worth the value. Give Earls place a chance. Thanks Earl

A small house in a quiet neighborhood looks westward over the U of M agricultural campus fields offering a slice of country in the middle of the Cities. In a prime, yet quiet location 15 minutes from both Minneapolis and St Paul downtown, it is the perfect place for events anywhere in the Twin Cities.
All the living space is conveniently on a single level and the open floor plan for the kitchen and living room are great for parties. A large, fenced back yard is perfect for dogs and enjoying sunsets over the fields. Bushes lining the backyard and the back-set location of the house on the lot offer plenty of privacy.
This quiet residential pocket is located one block north of the State Fair grounds and is surrounded by the U of M agricultural fields. Stores for any need and two malls are within five minutes' drive. A pub and a couple small restaurants are within walking distance.
  • Benjamin’s place is ultra convenient, located centrally, private, quiet, well kept and a great value. And there’s a private garage. I’ve stayed three times and will book again when I’m back in town if it’s available. Thanks Benjamin!

  • A peaceful, comfortable, clean and quiet retreat with all the connections and convenience of urban life. It’s easy to get to the house and from it to other attractions around the cities. Our stay was absolutely lovely! Our son loved the big yard in the back. Benjamin is a very kind and thought host, and the house is thoughtfully equipped. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Twin Cities!

  • Nadia’s home was fantastic, it was exceptional clean and cozy. Nadia was so kind that she even provided a welcome basket with breakfast items which was most thoughtful as we arrived after 630pm. She even waited to greet us even though our flight was delayed. She was such a gracious host as she left her home in the middle of a blizzard to ensure that we were ok, updating us frequently on what to do. What a great experience we felt like we were with family.

  • I base my Airbnb experiences on beds and pillows and kitchen, this is a great older home that my family of 6 had a wonderful time in! The beds were so comfy and pillows wonderful! Kitchen fully equipped except for a hand held mixer. Which was not a big deal as she had a different one there, I pretty much made my entire thxgiving meal there! Wine and treats on the table were an added bonus!

  • Great place to stay. We spent the weekend here and it is so homey! Although it is the middle of winter and we didn't get to enjoy it too much it has a very cute backyard space and a nice front porch little sitting area as well. On-street parking was very easy and many spaces available. Ingrid was very responsive and welcoming and the place just felt like home.

  • This was a great space and fit our needs perfectly. The host was very understanding, accommodating, and quick to respond to messages. The kitchen had all the basic needs. The showers had great water pressure and hot water. It truly felt like a home away from home.

  • Ingrid was a super easy to communicate with + very prompt in Her replies. Her house was perfect for our family of four's early Thanksgiving celebrations. We cooked lots of meals in the well appointed kitchen, ate them in the wonderful dining room, caught up on sleep on the really comfortable beds, took a couple of delicious baths + enjoyed walks around the neighborhood. Location is quiet + central enough for minimal commuting.

    Cory2018-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • The home was great for us four, we travelled during Christmas and the home even had a Christmas tree! Ingrid was very responsive with every communication, very fast. The home was well heated in the winter. Sounds like a small thing, but I have had many houses that were cold. The bathroom was clean and had good water pressure. The TV was large and had a Roku device with Netflix and other streaming channels. Also it had over the air channels if like the local news. I would stay there again on my next trip. We had a special request while there and it was fulfilled within 30 minutes! Thanks Ingrid for everything !

  • Très bon accueil, Brett a été très accueillant et nous a conseillé quelques endroits où aller. L'appartement correspond parfaitement à la description, très charmant, propre, nous y avons passé un super séjour. Merci Brett !!

    Amandine2015-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • We were contacted by our host, Brett, several times before our arrival. We were delayed well past our expected arrival due to vehicle problems and Brett made sure we would be able to get in to the unit at that late hour. Cute bunnies in the back yard! The location was convenient for us with plenty of food options nearby. While we did not use the kitchen, it appeared to be well stocked. It even had wine glasses. Nice touch. One draw back was no place to unpack our suitcase, only a closet. We put two chairs in the bedroom to hold our suitcase. On our last night the resident upstairs cooked something that left a very bad odor through the lower level where we were. It was well past midnight before it improved. We could still smell the odor when we checked out the next morning.

    Candy2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • Brett was a great host, very responsive and welcoming. He was flexible with our checkout times, and the apartment was in a really convenient location for my family since they were visiting Macalester College. The apartment was very spacious for 3 people with a full kitchen, living room area, and 1 bedroom and another living space with a single bed. There were facilities to cook, and the space was very clean. All in all, it's great value for the price and we had a great stay!

    Amita2015-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • Brett was a wonderful host. When we had a minor problem he attended to it immediately. The apartment was in the basement of a large building. The apartment was very spacious and clean. It did not feel like a basement because each room seemed to have a window. The apartment had a full kitchen with an eating area, a bathroom, a living room, a bedroom and a sitting area with a daybed. We were very pleased with the room and found it to be of good value. The neighborhood is close to Hamline University and is centrally located between Minneapolis and St. Paul. The State Fairgrounds is just to the north and the Midway area is just to the south. We walked every morning to get coffee and exercise. Shopping and eating locations are very plentiful. We enjoyed trying many new restaurants. We would recommend this home to anyone and we would come back again. Brett, thank you for sharing your home with us. Jeff and Kim Janssen

  • It is a very lovely and peaceful place! I spent three days with my parents here, the house basically had everything we need, it's clean and organized. Brett is a really nice and flexible person, feel free to ask him anything. There is a beautiful park near the house, it's a perfect place to walk in the morning. :)

    Yichen2017-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place especially for the price. Clean and roomy. I thought parkin might be an issue but it was not. Would definitely stay there again.

    Christina2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Best stay for the price. Brett left us a few items to eat an we saved a lot of money on food by having the ability to cook. Something not available in a hotel that was likely twice the cost. There is a photo of TV in the ad but no DVD player or cable so make sure you have entertainment like a computer. Other than that, it was worth every penny.

Quiet country/park like neighborhood right in the middle of the metro area. #2. Special attention to details, cleanliness, amenities and perks are way beyond expectations. We love to share our unique home with others. It was designed by my husband, architect Kevin Busch. It is very open, light-filled, yet private at the same time. Our home is called Theatre of the Seasons and this is our Nature guest room. Your private bedroom will be on the upper level and includes a brand new QUEEN sized bed. If another guest is staying you share an over-sized full bath that is adjacent to your room and a half bath powder room on main level both of which are reserved for guest only use. There is an airy game/conversation area upstairs in the main loft open space plus a huge living room complete with TV with premium cable, microwave and mini refrigerator. Hosts do not share any guest spaces. Once greeted you come and go as you please. Also included is high speed WiFi, electric hot water kettle is upstairs at the tea, cocoa and cookie station for easy access. Please note rental does NOT include use of our family kitchen or meal preparation facilities other than the microwave in your guest living area. If you need two rooms or want to see if our other room is booked please check out our Starry Night room.
Falcon Heights is the most highly desirable neighborhood in the Twin Cities. It’s 10 minutes to either downtown and the best bus routes are right at the end of our street. We have a lovely home on a half acre property. We are at the end of a cul-de-sac providing privacy, limited traffic and intimate neighborhood relationships. We have frequently hosted visiting faculty, international professionals for continuing education programs or one of the many local corporate business headquarters nearby. If you are a bee keeper coming for a program or Flight Fantasy gamer our Airbnb is situated closest to your destination. We are located across the street from St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota where a visit will lead you to farm animals, a raptor center and horticulture student gardens. We are also an easy walk across the street to the Minnesota State Fair. Held late August through Labor Day. Please book early places go fast. The new Bell Center and Planetarium is just blocks away and features a digital planetarium, high-tech exhibits, famous wildlife dioramas, outdoor learning experiences and more. This and the Gibbs Farm Museum are 3 blocks from our home. Gibbs allows visitors to step back in time to experience pioneer and Dakota life with historical programming and costumed visitors. Five golf courses in 5 miles of our home.
  • Felicia goes above and beyond any Airbnb host I've ever had! Her house truly is interesting and beautiful, and she is incredibly responsive to all texts and communications. She will even make you breakfast each morning. Her home radiates welcomeness, inclusion, and love. She does have two rooms she rents on Airbnb, so when I was there, another couple was in the other room. I really enjoyed meeting the other couple, so this was no big deal for me. But you should be aware of this. Your space is private. It is away from the rest of the family, and you share a bathroom only with whoever might be staying in the other room. The rooms and the bathroom were immaculate. She cleans the bathroom daily, I believe. Also, the mattress was great! Looking at the photos, it may look like it's a half-height mattress, but it's not. It's of regular thickness and is incredibly comfortable. The house does have an out-in-the-country feel, even though it is right in between the Twin Cities. It's beautiful, with trees and a nice walking path. The area around felt suburban to me, but you are so close to St. Paul that it's practically in the city. I had to attend a conference at UMN - St. Paul campus, and her home is five minutes away. I had no issues getting anywhere in the Twin Cities or to and from the airport. I enjoyed having a rental car I could get around in, but the people who were staying in the room next to me used public transportation to get everywhere. They found it very easy. You will be hard pressed to find a kinder host than Felicia. She's a delight to talk to but has no problem giving you your space if you are tired after a long day. I never felt like I was under surveillance or that I was in any way inhibited from coming and going as I pleased. If you book with Felicia, you will not regret it!

  • Fairly close Uber ride to downtown Minneapolis and a lovely home. Felicia had the best communication of any Airbnb host I've worked with and is very professional. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home providing cookies and snacks on arrival as well as bottled water and even offered to make us breakfast in the morning. The room and bathroom were clean. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. I would definitely recommend Felicia and her Airbnb.

  • Felicia's place was quiet and park-like setting. Her hospitality was wonderful and her breakfast was a wonderful surprise. She even made cupcakes for my husband's birthday!

  • Our very first experience and Felicia was amazing. Breakfasts such a surprise added bonus...especially waffle Sunday. Thank you. Frank thumbs up your coffee in the mornings and cookies in the evenings. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay. Thank you for accepting a pair of newbies. Love.

Ideal location for the Superbowl! Its two blocks off the Green Line, which is the train that takes you directly to the Stadium (15 min ride). This will save you from the inevitable "Surge Pricing" of Uber and Lyft. Quirky art on the walls, otherwise simple furnishings, a kitchen, bathroom and fireplace for your use. Its a good place if you're traveling with pets, especially dogs, as I have a backyard. Outdoor cooking grill available upon request.

Charming Tudor-style home 9 blocks from the Minnesota fair grounds. Just a 15 minute drive to both downtown Minneapolis or Saint Paul. Located in the charming Como Park neighborhood within walking distance of Como Park and Zoo. Bus stop, coffee shop, and playground just one block away. Close to great restaurants and shopping. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (we have a pack-n-play and lots of toys for younger kids).
  • A lovely cozy home in a great location (especially if you are going to the State Fair and / or Como Zoo and Garden). This home was clean and perfect for families, with great touches including baby proofing, toys, books, high chair, etc. Everything we needed to be comfortable was provided, and the hosts were great with providing information and answering any questions. We had a truly wonderful experience and stay!
