This comfortable large room in our detached house is in a quiet residential area of Leyland, but just a five minute walk from local shops, pubs and good public transport links into Preston. Free parking and secure bike parking is available. The seaside towns of Southport, Lytham St Annes, and Blackpool are within 30 mins drive, and we are only minutes from the motorway network to get to Manchester, Liverpool, Lancaster, The Lake District, West Pennine Moors, Yorkshire Dales and Peak District.
During your stay, our house will be your home too, so you will be welcome to use our kitchen, dining room, lounge and family bathroom as well as your own private room with it's own ensuite shower and toilet. Tea, coffee, milk and other drinks are always available in the kitchen, and you can help your yourself to a choice of breakfasts in the morning. We try to be as green as possible, recycling everything we can, composting all food waste for use in our garden and collecting water from the roof to water the garden. But most of all we love our combination of the latest LG Solar Panels and Tesla Powerwall 2 which makes us self-sufficient for about six months of the year. It is used to power the house including all the hot water and some heating. To date this has saved over 1.4 Tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions. Come and take a look for yourself!
Leyland was the home of Leyland Motors (later British Leyland), Leyland Paints and other motor-related businesses. The demise of the industry has created many green spaces and local facilities. There are some lovely walks you can take from the house. A 20 minute walk (or 5 minute bus ride!) into Leyland Town Centre will bring you good local shopping, with many pubs and restaurants, as well as the Leyland Commercial Vehicle Museum. We are also ideally located for trips to the west coast (Southport, Lytham St Annes and Blackpool), and being only minutes from the Motorway Network gives easy access to Manchester, Liverpool, Lancaster and popular tourist areas including The Lake District, West Pennine Moors, Yorkshire Dales and Peak District.

Family home. Modern decor throughout. Clean and tidy. Gardens front and back, private driveway offering off road parking. Mum and teenage son team (both of us are very happy friendly people). Free WiFi Porridge, Bread, butter and jam available for you to make your own breakfast. Along with tea and coffee whenever you want to make a hot drink. I travel around the world with my job so appreciate the extra touches that make a difference to peoples experiences. That’s what makes us different :)
Close by to both Chorley Hospital (2.3 miles) and Euxton Hall Hospital (300 yards) so great if visiting patients or for nurses, etc. Close to M6 and M61 junctions and a 5 minute walk to Euxton train station. Lots of nice walks close by, no need to get in a car to get some greenery! Very friendly mum and teenage son team, ready to welcome you! We have Sky TV in the main spacious living room, which has a lovely big bay window creating plenty of light. We have a separate kitchen and dining room which you have access to. Shared driveway to front of property and nice sized gardens front and back with garden furniture in the back for warm days/nights. We have cctv around the property along with security lighting.
Chorley Hospital, Euxton Hall Hospital, Astley Park. Lots of takeaways and pubs close by. Chorley Town Centre is a five min drive away. Bus stop is a short walking distance away and takes you into town. 5 minutes drive from Leyland. 15 minute drive from Wigan.

Located less than 5 mins from Jct 28 of the M6. A Grade 2 listed building in approx 1 acre of established gardens with ponds & ducks. If both rooms are required then a £30 fee applies. 2 bedrooms on the top floor with private guest use of a lounge & shower room. The lounge has a flat screen 3D TV with surround sound, Netflix, & Games console. Available by request are breakfast (£5.50 p.p.) & private use of a hot tub/sauna (£30 and £15 or £40 if both per stay).
This is a house of historical importance but with a homely and welcoming feel to it. The grounds extend to almost an acre with many seating areas and 2 ponds as well as an African hut and vegetable garden all of which can be used by our guests. Guests have described the accommodation "as like having our own little apartment" There are numerous supermarkets, pubs and restaurants within walking and driving distance. We are also on a main bus route and a 15 min walk to the train station. Preston and Chorley are only a short distance away. There is a 2 person sauna and 7 seater hot tub available (private guest use) Use of a separate lounge, free parking, free WiFi and TVs in both bedrooms make this an excellent base for a business trip or leisure break. A secluded and quiet area of Leyland but close to amenities and good road and rail links as well as parks and leisure centres within walking distance.

Our bungalow, has been transformed into a modern and spacious home. It has featured in Ideal Homes and Daily Telegraph Home Renovation Award. Located approx 12 minutes, from Preston City centre and easily accessed by public transport. The double bedroom has ensuite/wet room and is on the ground floor, at the front of the house. Guests have access to the kitchen to make drinks and a 'help yourself' buffet continental style breakfast. Off road parking and secure storage for cycles, is available.
Our house has been a labour of love and we are keen to share it with people who appreciate good design and want to try something different. The bedroom has one 4ft 6in double bed, a wardrobe, dressing table and rocking chair. The ensuite is a wet room.
We are located in a quiet residential area with good amenities - a local Co Op, Chemist and Off licence with bank cash machine. There are two pubs within walking distance one of which serves food, a pizza takeway and an award winning fish and chip shop at the end of the road (2 mins walk). It is a quiet area but can be busy early morning, during rush hour and school start and finishing times.

This is a modern 3 bedroom house which is lived in by the owner. The Bedrooms are an adequate size which will sleep guest accordingly: main bedroom, double bed with en-suite, second bedroom with double bed, third bedroom with a single bed. In addition, there is also a master Bathroom, with a shower over the bath. There is also a well equipped kitchen/diner and a lounge with TV and gaming. This would be a excellent property for a holiday or even business purposes. Why stay in a hotel room when you can have access to the whole property for much less!! Please bear in mind that I charge per guest and not for the entire house. I do this as it makes it more affordable for single or business travellers to stay. If you are staying with additional guests, please ensure you select the amount before requesting.
Leyland is a historical town which has many attractions. The estate in which the house is located is very quiet and would suit individuals, couples and families alike. There are locations close such as Worden Park, Leyland Commercial Museum, Leisure Centre and large supermarkets that are open 24 hours.

A short drive from Lancaster, Manchester, Liverpool, Skipton, and easy access to the M6 M61 & M65. Lancaster Cottage has been kindly restored to a high standard Amenities consist of: - comfortable lounge wood burning stove & a sofa.  A TV, DVD player, & DVDs.  Leading to: - the kitchen then upstairs to the bed room & bathroom with a french cast bath - Bed linens towels are provided
Modern but cosy cottage feel, tall beamed ceilings , leather sofa and all home comforts, white quality bedding, towels ,toiletries, The cottage although it has an Aga , it is turned off but our log burner has been renewed to a cream one, it has central heating and an electric hob ,full size oven and microwave for cooking.
Although not far from shops, sports centre and motorway access, the cottage is very peaceful and in a quiet area
