Although attached to our home, you’ll have total privacy in this self-contained apartment which has a private courtyard. Our home is set off the road so is quiet. There's plenty of free on-street parking, and local shops, pubs and coffee shops are within walking distance.
We are a 5 minute drive from the Celtic Manor Resort for you avid golfers, and 20 minutes’ drive from the Cwmcarn mountain bike trail for you adrenaline junkies! Our house is in close proximity to Rodney Parade the home of Gwent Dragons Rugby Club and Newport County F.C its only a short walk away.

A good sized double bedroom with views over our large garden. Access to own bathroom (shared only with one other guest maximum. Normally no one). We have animals (dog and cat) however all are kept downstairs out of the main house and are no where near your room, but please do let me know if you are afraid/allergic. The house is a large Victorian house, so there is plenty of space, and has a rustic feel to it. There is also a large garden which you are free to use. This is a family home, however we are respectful of your space and ensure to stay quiet and out of your way during your stay. Hi, I am renting the spare double room in my 2 bed terraced house which I live in with my cat, Billy. It has recently been decorated and I love the way it looks and feels. You would be sharing the bathroom with me so I would discuss when you needed it and work to suit you. Shower is a beaut. Maindee area of Newport. 20 minute walk into town centre. 5minute walk to Local pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores. 5 minute drive from the Celtic Manor & town centre.
You can use the kitchen and living room too - I want you to feel at home. I don't have any programmes that I watch religiously, and have Netflix, so if we are both in I'm sure we can find something that we both like!

Garden has table and chairs- great for relaxing outside. Kitchen furnished with cooking equipment.All together the flat has really great feel about it, it’s spacious and bright! Comfort and privacy of your own home at great price!
As you enter the flat you enter the living room area with dinner table and chairs, smart tv with free Netflix, single bed/sofa for extra guest, from there you enter long kitchen area with access to large master bedroom overlooking the garden. It’s furnished with double bed, wardrobes and study table. Bathroom has a shower cube. Kitchen is furnished with basic kitchen equipment if you wish to make a meal. Door leading to the large garden with grass surface and sitting area with table and chairs- you can sit and enjoy glass of wine/cap of tea or even have a barbecue (not provided). Overall it’s great as a little gateway or a piece of home away - gives you the privacy and comfort of your own space without having to share it with other people. We are trying to keep the price as low as possible but please remember it’s for the whole flat, not just a room in a shared house. Hope you will enjoy your stay here! :-)

Local bars and shops are just a short walk away and excellent links to main train and bus station. The POD is a fantastic bar/restaurant just next door and a short walk into Newport city centre over the iconic Newport bridge.

An 18th century Grade ll listed 3 bedroom (2 double & 1 single) terraced cottage that has just undergone a full refurbishment. Set in the historic part of Newport, Close to both the Gwent & St Woolos Hospital and opposite the St Woolos Cathedral. Approx 2 miles from the M4, the property is a stones through from the bustling city centre. With a large Victorian park and cafe approx 5-10 minute walk away. Close to shops and restaurants and amenities.
The property comprises of a modern lounge/dinning area which then leads to a fully equipped kitchen with Double oven & microwave, fridge freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. In the kitchen you will find the usual essentials of tea, coffee, sugar and milk. There is gas central heating throughout the cottage & double glazing. The bedrooms comprise of 1 double bedroom to the front of the property with a wardrobe and chest of drawers, a small box room single bedroom to the rear with a chest of drawers and a further double bedroom in the attic with 2 chest of drawers. The attic room has a properly fitted stair case, is accessed from the first floor landing via a separate door. There is 1 main shower room located on the first floor. The cottage is Grade ll listed so the stairs are moderately steep and some what narrow so maybe impractical for someone that may have limited mobility and also babies/small children as a stair gate cannot be fitted. Outside the property is a courtyard style garden (patio area and decking) for you to enjoy and relax in. The property is on one of the main routes in and out of Newport (the road directly outside is one way traffic) so like most cities the road will be busier at peak times of the day. *There is no allocated parking but there is on street permit parking directly outside the property and all around the Cathedral. The permits are day permits and are available for your stay if you require them. Approx 2 miles from the M4 makes this a convenient location, with also the train station to London or Cardiff just 5-10 minutes walk away. Cardiff is also easily accessible being approx 15-20 minutes by car or 15 minutes by train, a return train fare is approx £5.20 and an Uber ride approx £20-£25. The property is also a 5 minute walk from the city centre and the new shopping precinct "Friars Walk" where you will find some great restaurants and bars along with an M&S food hall and the likes of H&M and Debenhams. There is an abundance of Coffee shops & Cafes dotted around the city centre. This is my parents property that they use when they are back in South Wales. The property is therefore well equipped for guests to feel relaxed and comfortable during their stay.

A 2 Bedroom (1 Double and 1 single) Grade ll listed small cottage style property situated in the historic part of Newport and opposite, st. Woolos Cathedral. The property has recently undergone a full renovation and offers a cosy modern living whilst maintaining many of its original character and charm.
This is generally my home so there are some of my personal belongings at the property however space has been provided for guests to use for their belongings if they wish. The property offers a lounge/dinning area which leads onto a fully equipped kitchen with an integrated double oven and microwave, integrated slimline dishwasher integrated fridge freezer and an integrated washer dryer. There are stairs leading to the first floor for the bedrooms and shower room, the stairs are original so they are steep and the steps are quite narrow with no balustrade therefore this may not be suitable for babies or infants or anyone that may have difficulties in climbing stairs in general. On the first floor you will find a double bedroom to the front aspect, in the middle is the shower room which has the toilet, sink and shower and then to the rear aspect is a small single bedroom. The property has a garden which I am currently in the process of landscaping. Please be aware that there is no allocated parking at the property but there is on street permit parking directly outside and also around the cathedral, the permits are day permits and available if required for your stay. Also the house is grade ll listed and therefore the windows at the front of the property are not double glazed so you will hear some street/Road noise.
Set in the city centre of Newport, friars walk and the main shopping high street is located 5 minutes walk down the hill. There is an array of bustling places to both eat and drink or enjoy the shops. There is also a large Victorian park (Belle Vue) which also has a lovely cafe located a 5 minutes walk just up the hill.
