Santa Rosa is close to wineries, parks, good restaurants, music. My home is about 1 mile from downtown, was built in 1906, has a small private room & bath, claw foot tub, NO SHOWER. No smokers please. Close to bus line, breweries and shops. Lovely area for walking. Pets under 20 lbs ok. I have 2 friendly dogs. NO Lockbox
Great part of Santa Rosa, close to downtown. Nice area of old homes, many older than mine which was built in 1906. I have tried to keep that old feel to the house and I want it to feel warm and friendly. Private, quite room with large private bathroom but no shower, sorry.
My home is an Historic District with many older homes and trees. It a lovely area to just take a walk.
  • Logement très calme dans un joli quartier, appartenant à une dame très sympathique.

  • I would definitely recommend staying at Linda's. Check in was easy and flexible. Linda is very welcoming. Parking is easy and the room was private near back of house. The bed was comfortable and has a private bath connected. Thank you for everything Linda!

  • Linda and I did not have a chance to meet because I am an early to bed early to rise type of gal. Linda opened her home to me and allowed me to do my own thing. The room is quaint and comfortable. I slept like a log and didnt hear Linda come in. I awoke to the patter of rain on the roof. (What a great sound that is). Her dogs are so cute and friendly. I sat in the garden and had my dinner. The dogs came out to investigate. One became my friend because I had goodies. (I promise I only shared a little). LindI had everything I needed. Her home is clean and welcoming. I freshened up in the bathroom which has a deep claw foot tub and a beautiful marble floor with a basket weave pattern. The street Linda lives on is quiet. Her neighbors waved and said hello to me. I enjoyed my stay!

  • Linda is a pleasant host and the stay was comfortable.

    Raghu2016-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Linda's house is adorable and the room is sweet and comfortable. Everything was exactly as described and it felt very relaxing and pampering to have the beautiful bathtub. The house is really well located near downtown. I hope to stay there again in the future.

  • Linda was very welcoming and fun to talk with. She offered me breakfast a couple times and I took her up on it once. The room was small but comfortable, perfectly fine. The neighborhood quiet and relaxed. It is about 20 minutes walk from Downtown. Very convenient. Highly recommended.

ABOUT THE AREA We are located in a safe, quiet neighborhood built in 1946 in southwest Santa Rosa. The Historic Railroad Square District & the SMART Train depot are a 15-minute walk while the heart of downtown is a mere 20-minute walk. A multitude of outstanding restaurants and nightspots, including at least a dozen brewpubs, taprooms, are wine tasting rooms, are either within walking distance or a short drive or ride share away. Costco, Target, Trader Joe's, and other shopping options are also nearby. The Pacific Ocean is a 45-minute drive to the west, Armstrong Redwoods State Park is a half-hour drive to the northwest, and nearly 200 wineries are within within an hour of us. The Golden Gate Bridge and the city of San Francisco are roughly 55 miles away. We are, quite literally, at the crossroads of both Santa Rosa and Sonoma County. There is also a motion-sensor porch light at the unit which will be triggered as you approach. The unit is equipped with a keypad lock. You will be given the code and instructions upon booking. We live in the main house and are usually available on short notice if you need us to replenish supplies, address concerns, or fix something which has broken. While the unit is small (roughly 300 sq. ft.), we do whatever we can to make it comfortable, livable, and pleasant. If we fall short of your expectations, please let us know immediately so we can work to make it right.

  • Outstanding! This is an absolutely adorable space in a convenient location -- very, very quiet and peaceful, comfy bed, everything clean and functional. Glen and Cheri were the perfect balance of helpful and hands-off -- they answered my questions promptly but I didn't even cross paths with them during my stay. The value is incredible. I would absolutely stay here again.

  • A great little place with a central location! It’s close and convenient to downtown Santa Rosa (1 mike up the same street). There is plenty of parking and check in and check was a breeze! The home was clean, fully stocked with goodies and necessities, and very homey! We loved our short stay and would definitely stay next time!

  • Clean. Comfortable. Close to downtown. Just what I needed

  • We stayed here for two nights during the mandolin festival in Santa Rosa. Quite small but clean and cozy guesthouse with most of the amenities you might need tor the extended stay as well. Glen was very nice to bring us some bottled water for coffee/tea the first day we came.

    Vasil2018-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great value, easy to reach host, and near Jack London State Park, where we were venturing. Enjoyed my stay very much!

  • This place is conveniently located close to historic area. The hosts provide nice amenities including coffee and tea with fridge. The room is small but good value for short stays. Main recommendation is update of bed needed - a bit too soft for good night sleep.

BLUE HEAVEN Welcome to the Wine County, we have a fully furnished room in 3Br, 1.5 bath home. Nestled in Santa Rosa is a place I have called Blue Heaven for thirty years. You would be sharing space with a gaggle of great gals who love to entertain and share our lovely area. We have a plethora of movies in the front room we have two cats that are supervised in their rooms . We are open to all, with no discrimination and are a 420 friendly environment.
Our guests are the ones who can give you the best idea about this.

  • Crickette Marie was such a wonderful host. We had a really late check in and she was still up to greet us when we arrived. The space was comfortable and very homey. Crickette thought to provide everything we needed. And the breakfast was such a great bonus. Not to mention the great conversation and travel tips that came with it. If you are looking to book this listing, I would definitely recommend it. Thanks again, Crickette Marie!

  • This place is great! Having a hot tub was a perfect way to relax. It is clean, cozy, quiet. Marie and her roommates are amazing people. I will definitely stay there again whenever I have to come to Santa Rosa

  • Of the 3 places I stayed in the Greater Bay Area, this was by far the best! Super clean, attentive hosts, and a great space. Ample parking. Couldn't recommend more highly.

    Joseph2018-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was a nice place to stay. Crickette had breakfast for me if I wanted it, and she offered me dinner several times. The room was nice and clean with a small toilet room attached which made it convieneint. They like to get up early and some days I was kept up late by Nancy going in and out late and then people getting up super early, but it is a nice shared space. There was a weird freak incident where a lady was trying to run over someone else on the street they live on and they got into an altercation theugh the window of her car. The only really weird part was when I heard Crickette yelling and screaming at Nancy through the walls about the recycling on the first or second night. I’m sure she didn’t know I was home but I felt scared by the anger in her voice that was followed by slamming the vacuum into the door of Nancy’s room. I probably won’t stay again because of that but without that it would have been great!

Amenities are constantly being added and upgraded. New mini-fridge. I live here alone in the back of the house so you have plenty of space, but also a host on site to help you. Quickly becoming gentrified. Both the Sonoma County Fairgrounds and Vets Memorial Events Center only 4 blocks away! Walk down to the weekly Farmer's Market or to the giant Sunday outdoor Flea Market! Russian River Brewing Company 5 minute drive.
  • A comfortable home to stay in. However, WiFi password is not available and host does not have password. If your laptop PC does not "connect to the internet automatically" you will have to go to an Internet café. Also, I was notified of additional, unexpected charges ($19.50) upon arrival.

  • David’s place is the perfect stay when visiting Somoma. It’s in a residential area, but a very convenient drive to any wineries you’d want to go to. David was very helpful with tips and recommendations for the area and was very communicative and accommodating throughout the booking process. He even offered us some awesome Sonoma wine and spent time with us when we returned home that evening. We would definitely recommend staying with David.

We're a collection of 20-30 something's in a very active, socially positive house. We currently live in a huge old Victorian house in downtown Santa Rosa and are always looking to have someone new over to share their life stories with!
Our house is a socially awesome, perfect location for your Sonoma County travels. We are right next to everything you need in the area. The house is across the street from a grocery store, the cheapest gas in town, a five minute walk from all the downtown activities, and a 3 minute drive from all our major highways. It's also only about two blocks from Russian River Brewery. Aside from the ideal location. We love meeting and socializing with new people. we are a collection of 20-30 somethings, so if you want to meet some cool new folks and grab a beer, or go exploring anywhere let us know. Or if you came to visit the wine country and want a relaxing visit, you have the comfort and peace of your own separated and converted home. The room you will be staying in is a converted bus playfully named the Peace Village. We can also recommend to you all the wineries and adventurous areas to explore like Safari West! Most of us grew up in the area, so know all of the surrounding counties and towns very well. Contact us if this sounds like a good fit for you. Even if you're a bit nervous about what sounds like a lot of people, send us a message anyways and tell us a bit about yourself. We're a pretty friendly bunch! Thanks!
We are a short walk to downtown with easy access to a shopping mall, local shops, bookstores, restaurants, and bars. On Wednesday evenings in the summer there is a market in down town that has food, produce, music, entertainment, and much more.
  • Awesome little place to just chill and rest. The people in the house are really nice.

  • If you want a reasonably priced place to stay in Santa Rosa and are open to sharing Amenities and be in a central local, this is your place!

    Ava2018-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Wow, I don't even know where to begin. This is the BEST place EVER. Everyone that lives in the house is so helpful and so full of energy. They're the most hospitable group of people I've met. I just moved here and they helped me get settled and make friends, I LOVE THESE GUYS STAY HERE ❤️❤️❤️ I would give them 11/10!

    Bradley2016-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of our favourite places on our travels - such a unique place to stay. We loved all the features of the bus - couldn't get over the little fire too! It was super cute at night with the string lights around the roof!

    Katie2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • We met buddy and Sam. They were great and gave us some great pointers about the town. The van we stayed in was pretty sweet. It was a nice set up. If you keep the windows closed, it stays warm! I'd stay here again.

    Stephanie2015-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Buddy's place was such a joy to stay at! We booked our stay pretty last minute, but Buddy was super helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process which made check-in a breeze. We didn't have a lot of interaction with the hosts unfortunately due to our schedule, but they were very warm and welcoming which didn't go unappreciated. The bus was very cozy and charming and was exactly as pictured and described, if not better. It had everything from a furnace to an oven and stovetop. The only thing it didn't have was a bathroom or running water, but guests have access to the house bathroom so that was never a big issue. The bus is within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants, shops, and breweries. Very convenient location and a comfortable stay made for a great min-trip! We definitely hope to return in the future.

    Stephanie2017-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Chris is very cool! He's an expert on where to eat and what's going on in time. If you're ever in Santa Rosa, try and snag the bus!

    Vernon2018-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Staying in the bus was a great rustic experience in an urban environment. I had fun. All the people were friendly and helpful.

Fun by the Fair. This sweet place is a 2 minute walk from the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds, a year-round entertainment and festival venue, and only a 5-10 minute walk downtown. Some great eateries and breweries to check out: Russian River Brewery (home of the much anticipated “Pliny” beers), Belly, La Vera and El Coqui Puerto Rican cuisine. Near Historic Railroad Square featuring many bars and restaurants and the downtown SMART train station (only an hour to San Rafael). Check out (Website hidden by Airbnb) Too!
The room has a queen sized bed with new, comfortable 400 thread count sheets. Beautiful hardwood floors and a backyard view through the glass slider complete the bright, open feel to the space. Stay the night or a few nights in our A-Liner Classic. Walking distance from downtown Santa Rosa, and Luther Burbank Gardens. Enjoy our backyard chickens eggs, bio-light fire pit, or a night out on the town.
It’s glamping and walking distance to all things downtown Santa Rosa can provide.
All things downtown! Diners, pubs, breweries, parks, theaters, gardens, local events, and plenty of hip restaurants.
  • Great little place in a cool private camper with a fridge, microwave, double bed and everything you could need. Walking distance from downtown and ample parking. Also Patrick and his family are lovely and helpful. I will definitely be staying again if I pass through.

Our tree shaded studio cottage is one block from the heart of downtown. Stay just a two block walk from Russian River Brewing. This clean and quiet cottage has a full kitchen, a comfortable queen bed.
The cottage is clean, comfortable and private

    Philippe2018-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • The title of Matthew's listing, "Comfy Cottage Downtown," is entirely appropriate, as the little building at the back of his main dwelling is both comfy and downtown. While compact in size, it has everything you really need for a short stay. Parking is easy right outside; there is a little kitchen area, the main living space with the queen size bed and a little bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to prepare meals, although we did not take advantage of this amenity. 3rd street is pretty quiet, so there is very little traffic noise at night. The bed is very comfortable. There is adequate storage space for clothes and luggage. Some people come to Santa Rosa for the wine; others come for Russian River Brewing; maybe even some people come for something else. We are of the Russian River type and the cottage could not be closer. The stagger back after an evening there is joyously short. We met Matthew briefly in the morning as he was leaving and had a nice conversation. He was friendly and hospitable. I would recommend any time.

    Richard2016-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Room was quiet, clean and inexpensive.

    Karen2015-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying in Matthew's cottage. It was in the perfect location to visit Russian River (so we went twice!) and walk around other shops and restaurants. Matthew was exceptionally responsive when we reached out to him both before and during our visit. The space was even bigger and homier than I envisioned. The pictures don't quite do it justice! I'm tempted to leave a bad review just so we don't have as much competition if we want to visit Sonoma Valley in the future!

    Erin2016-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful little place to stay! We came for a quick tour of wine country, but definitely didn't want to pay Napa prices. Santa Rosa was an awesome more-modestly priced option. We still did some great wine tours, but didn't break the bank. The Cottage was a great "home base" for our trip. Perfect walk-able location, easy to get to, super comfy bed, and just enough amenities to make it feel like a home. Matthew is a wonderful host! He was quick to respond to questions and always available. His wine recommendations (specifically Kunde Winery) were on-point. The guest book, juice in the fridge and wine glasses were all great touches that definitely added a "little something extra" to our trip. We would absolutely stay here again if we ever came back to the area! Book this one quick - it's a charmer!

  • It was really good, a very brief stay, we were comfortable, the directions were clear , had a continental breakfast (nice detail) but we're in a hurry and had to leave.

    Hazel2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Second stay in this home and I had an EXCELLENT experience! The hosts are fantastic. The difficulties associated with an unfortunate trip to the hospital for food poisoning (my fault...ate street food at a fair in Santa Rosa) were alleviated by their kind, warm, generous hospitality. No question - above and beyond expectations once again. Will be back...

    Timothy2016-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great location near SantaRosa downtown. Very clean place. Room as a portable AC which was very pleasant as it was 110 outside. Their porch is a good bonus in case you want to relax outside.

  • R.J. was very accommodating with our trip needs. I was not sure what time I would be able to check in, so he worked with me as I went back and forth on timing. Upon arrival, the room was ready and clean with easy instructions. Breakfast was provided which was a very nice and unexpected gesture. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt at home in the space. I also loved the very friendly cat!

  • RJ provided great communication throughout the planning process. He was very accommodating to our schedule. Nice clean bedroom and bathroom and very soft towels.

    Cindy2015-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • R.J.'s place is close to downtown which has nice restaurants and nice stuff to wander around. The neighborhood is safe and very beautiful .

Small but quiet private bedroom in a shared house that has another house (your hosts) on the property. Your housemate is our sister - and most likely our two furry dog-ters - who share the living room, kitchen and bathroom. We prefer one female guest, though couples who don't mind a regular sized, raised futon bed are considered for extra $10 per night. Plus we have a (non-heated) pool and amazing jacuzzi!
Guests LOVE our space! (See our reviews) They also like having informative hosts and a caring housemate that give you plenty of privacy, but quickly provide logistical details or shoot the breeze over a glass of wine by the pool. Our jacuzzi rocks, too!
Quiet and convenient neighborhood close to the interchange of Hwy 101 and Hwy 12 and the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Very close to Costco, Target, Trader Joes and other retail stores, affordable restaurants, and freeway access. Typical small city neighborhood with single family houses and yards. Condo complex on the block behind but host's house and parking lot prevent noise.
  • I was given a lot of great tips, greeted by 2 very friendly dogs, and when i realized I forgot my toothpaste, she had extra!!!!! I was there for only a short time but had a very pleasant experience. I wish it could have been longer

    Rachel2018-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great overnight stay. Warm welcome, they accommodated some of my special work related needs and oh, the hot tub is a GREAT way to close a busy day! Don't pass up the chance!

    Michelle2018-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and quiet with really lovely hosts. They are very intentional in the way everything is set up for your stay. This is my second stay here and I look forward to staying again soon!

    Anne2018-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Friendly people and well-mannered dogs, convenient location, comfortable home, excellent value, and the hot tub is a nice treat. I would gladly stay here again.

    Megan2018-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • The host is very thoughtful and kind. I felt cared for while I was there. The environment is relatively quiet and you can hear wind chimes from the backyard. This would be a good choice for dog lovers. They were around to hang out, but not noisy at night.

    Rebecca2018-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and quiet! I’m a dog person so I loved the company of the two dogs. It was a quick last minute booking and they were very accommodating. Lots of street parking and very close to restaurants & Costco for gas, yay! I would highly recommend staying here.

  • Jules was so easy to work with. They may check in and check out very easy easy. Communication was very quick, and they were very accommodating. The location was perfect for my needs and very Central to all the areas I needed to be in Santa Rosa. Excellent value!

  • You can’t go wrong staying here. The house is clean, calm and the hosts are super accommodating and thoughtful. And Nina and Lady are the icing on the cake! I would definitely stay here again.

Hello! Welcome to our newly remodeled, one bedroom one bath guest suite. We are located in a great neighborhood close to downtown Santa Rosa. Only a mile from the Russian River Brewing company, and blocks from the charming Montgomery Village.
Modern contemporary clean finishings with a wet bar including a toaster oven, fridge, and coffee maker.

Merci Stuart!

  • Stuart is a great host, the site is very convenient, and we were made to feel welcome right from our arrival.

    Daniel2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place! The space is very clean and bright with tasteful decor. There is plenty of privacy and the location was convenient for me. I did not have a chance to meet Stuart in person, but he was very welcoming and did check in to make sure I had everything I needed. I would happily stay here again.

  • A fabulous suite and awesome hosts! We really enjoyed our stay and the suite had everything we needed!

    Tami2016-07-14T00:00:00Z

    Rick2018-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Stuart's place. It was updated, clean, and comfortable. The complimentary bottle of homemade wine was a special surprise. I would recommend this location if you are looking to stay near wine country.

  • My wife and I had a great stay at Stuart's apartment. It was the perfect waypoint between the good restaurants and bars in Santa Rosa, and very convenient to wine country. Everything went smoothly with communication and check in. I'd gladly stay there again. As a bonus their homemade wine is quite good!

  • Everything was perfect, hosts were awesome and helped out with our unusual schedule. The place was exactly as described, and very conveniently located. Would stay again next time we are in town!

  • Very cozy. Short drive to beautiful downtown Santa Rosa. Peter gave us some nice tips. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Sanjay2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place was absolutely amazing. They were the best host ever! Very welcoming to my son and me. I highly recommend staying in this very clean and privet place!

    Ekaterina2018-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • I grew up in Santa Rosa, so I'm very familiar with the area. My wife and I stayed at Kelly and Peter's two nights. It's a great central location, close to downtown, shopping, regional parks, everything. Kelly was incredibly communicative, making sure we would get there okay. She even let us know they were ordering pizza via text, and asked if we'd like to order one as well. That was a big help, because we were coming in about dinner time, and we hadn't decided on what to do yet. Many places look better online than in person. This is NOT the case here. Their place looks at least as good when you get there. Excellent use of space, and more space than you'd expect. They thought of every little detail, to make the stay more welcoming. Too many things to list. But the bathroom is great, the kitchen, and kitchen supplies. The closet has all you need, even robes! There are two seating areas on your own private, patio, and even a shed, where we stored our bikes overnight. I really can't imagine a better combination of price and amenities in Santa Rosa, honestly. I'm only sorry to have to give such a good review, for fear they will be booked next time, or start raising their price. Oh, and if you're vain, or like to dress up, there are lots of mirrors! AND plenty of outlets for devices, and good cable and wifi. Another bonus! Thanks, Kelly and Peter!

    Derek2016-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • Nice little studio cottage. This would be good for a longer getaway as well for a single person. While the kitchen is tiny, it is fully functional for cooking. There is even a small private outdoor space.

    Jolene2018-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet back unit and centrally located. Kelly and Peter have made a comfortable clean air b n b. We would book again.

    Sandy2017-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Kelly and Peter were very easy to communicate with. We didn't see them much but they were very responsive when we needed anything. They even let us extend our stay for an extra night. The studio is exactly as the pictures show. It's small but comfortable and very quiet and private. We enjoyed having a patio with table and 2 chairs which was completely private.

    Linda2016-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Peter and Kelly are wonderful hosts! They make you feel at home while staying in their place. The studio is clean, comfortable, and stocked with anything you might have forgotten. It is centrally located which makes it easy to get around. Would definitely stay there again!

Our rustic bungalow is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy nature-in-the-city! It's simple, cozy, and close to downtown + the Russian River Brewery! It is a no-frills space that is full of character. PLEASE READ THE DETAILS BELOW.
**Please read all details and cancellation policy before booking!** Check in time will be arranged in advance of your arrival based on our mutual schedules after 4pm. You will have your own private space in our backyard. It is RUSTIC, small, creative, interesting, and fun. You won't be camping, but it is not 100% insulated either. Space heater is available in the winter and a fan in the summer. It is not fancy, but you will find everything that you need including shampoo, soap, toothpaste, tea, coffee, and grapes/fruit on the trees if in season. There is a twin bed (& extra mattress for 2nd person if needed), TOILET & SINK ALL IN ONE ROOM (w/privacy curtain), and an outdoor shower. The space measures about 13'x7', has a tin roof, and the ceiling clearance is about 5' 7", so not the best space if you are a tall person, unless you plan to be out most of your visit or sit/sleep a lot. You may or may not hear owls, raccoons, crows, turkeys, cats, and the leaves on the trees. There is an additional fee for each additional guest. Hablamos español. Je comprends le français.
The neighborhood is a 10 minute walk from downtown, the Russian River Brewery, and the Hyatt Hotel Conference Center. It is full of beautiful old houses, cafes, narrow streets, and lots of cats. Parking is only on the north side of the street (please don't park in the driveway or block other driveways).
  • Bon emplacement, la douche extérieure est originale. Un peu froid en hiver par contre.

  • The Cozy Tiki was a real life-saver for me. I was driving up to Santa Rosa at the last minute to attend a multi-day conference and was unsure if I was going to be able to find anywhere to stay. Erika and Bridget got back to me super fast and were able to accommodate me even though I showed up a few hours after dark. The bungalow itself was pretty much exactly what I expected. Erika and Bridget keep it super clean and have a white board with everything you would ned to know about your stay in Santa Rosa. It was only a few blocks away from everywhere I needed to be, I could have easily walked but it was super cold in town when I visited. I brought some extra blankets, but I probably didn't need to as there were plenty folded up in the bungalow. Overall a great experience that could only be improved by the ceiling being a little taller. I didn't mind much because I got home every night super late and just wanted to go in bed and check my emails on the wi-fi.

    Jay2015-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy little shack with such a comfy bed! The pears in season were delightful and showering under the stars was liberating. Bridget and Erika were very welcoming and chill. Their location is super close to downtown so it was lovely to walk to the Wednesday farmers market and grab a beer at Russian River. The whole neighborhood has tons of personality and cats! Thanks BnE for the great BnB!

  • One of the more unique airbnb's i've stayed in, very cool vibe! tea/coffee/oatmeal to get your morning going. Erika and Bridget are very welcoming and give you ample privacy following your arrival. Love this little bungalow

His home is equipped with coffee, tea, extra blankets, a heating system, wifi, a really nice shower head (2 shower heads), an iron and hair dryer, a small fridge and 2 burners that works incase you want to have a home cooked meal . :) We always enjoy ourselves when we stay at Davids. My boyfriend and I highly recommend staying here.

Stylish reimagined Airstream all set up for a comfy night's sleep. In the heart of the trendy SOFA district, walkable to great food, coffee, entertainment and downtown - including Russian River Brewing Company!
Our remodeled airstream is nestled in our large private back yard, near our wine barn and with our 5 chickens as your neighbors. Completely refurbished with an open floor plan, modern amenities - with tiled shower and normal-sized loo. It's a perfect spot to relax, chat with friends, or just sleep. Also, private outdoor dining space and patio for those lovely California mornings and wine-perfect nights. There are seasonal fruit trees and a grapevine, as well as various things growing in the gardens, all of which you're welcome to enjoy. We are a small working winery so there may be some projects going on, but we will warn you ahead of time if there's anything significant to know about!
We live in the historic SOFA (South of A) Arts District, and are walkable to some great restaurants: Spinster Sisters, Dierk's Parkside (great breakfast!) and Taqueria Las Palmas; coffee: Criminal Bakery (also vegan and gluten free pastry options) and Atlas Coffee; world-renowned theatre company The Imaginists; dozens of art galleries; and shopping at JamJar boutique and Jeremiah's Photo Corner. Also close to Juilliard Park, walkable to the Roxy Movie Theater and Santa Rosa Plaza mall, plus tons of restaurants, breweries, shopping and more; all downtown in Courthouse Square, or nearby Railroad Square.
  • Amanda & Paul were excellent hosts - Great communication and super friendly! Their place was a great launching point whether we were walking to downtown Santa Rosa or hopping on a wine tour. Definitely would stay again!

    Katie2018-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • My fiancé and I stayed here one night while attending a wedding in the area. I wish we had been able to stay longer. The airstream was so cute and really felt like a vacation/ escape. With busy schedules we had the most amazing Sunday morning sleeping in and waking up to the chickens. We hope to come back the next time we do a wine tasting weekend!

    Lauren2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Can’t say enough about the airstream itself or the location! The airstream has exactly what you’d need for a visit, including a microwave and fridge. The location is perfect with amazing restaurants within walking distance. Would gladly stay again.

    Michael2018-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay at Amanda & Paul’s place! The Airstream could comfortably fit 2 people, and the full size shower felt very roomy too. The bottle of homemade wine in the fridge was a thoughtful and delicious touch. Would definitely come back again if we’re in the area!

Just steps away from the Courthouse Square and only a few more over to Railroad Square, this bedroom has double paned windows with blackout shades, and a large tub. The 2nd bed is a queen size air mattress. Price includes 12% tax. As the average annual high for Santa Rosa is ~71F there is no AC, however the room has a fan.
The room features a writing desk, a queen sized bed, a double sink vanity, a 4.4CF mini-fridge, and a large tub.
  • You'd be hard pressed to find a better experience. Beautiful home, comfortable room in a great location. The best part of our stay was Krish! Such a beautiful person. Would 100% no question stay again if she would have us. If she offers you a bloody Mary in the morning do yourself a favor and say yes!

    Alejandro2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • If Arvita and Krissie's place is available, I would not stay anywhere else in Santa Rosa. The room is clean and spacious, has a very comfortable bed, and a huge bathtub. The house is walking distance from courtyard square and the town center. You can walk to dinner and Russian river brewery, have a few beers and not have to worry about driving home. The most amazing thing, however, is definitely Krissie herself. She goes out of her way so much to make you feel welcome and at home in the house. She cooks an impressively tasty multi-course breakfast. She chats with you, tries to get to know you and shares stories from her life. It was really a delight to be here.

    David2018-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • THIS IS THE BEST AIRBNB I have ever stayed! Krissie not only has a beautiful house but she is such a gracious and thoughtful hostess! She really makes us feel like home, she is not just saying that, but her genuine care for her guests expressed it all. We got to talked to Krissie more during breakfast (super delicious by the way) and she has such an inspiring life story to share. This is truly a wonderful stay in many many ways!

    Pao H.2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Don't walk... run to Arvita & Krissie's home! Plan your vacation around their availability. It's that good. It's really, really, really that good. The sumptuous, delicious and hearty breakfast is only surpassed by A & K's warmth and generosity. If you like coffee.... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Aaron2017-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very enjoyable experience. Krish is a great host opening her home and making you feel very welcome. The breakfasts were fantastic!

    Julie2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Krissie was such an amazing host. Initially we were not sure what to expect about paying for a room instead of an entire place to ourselves. However, she was so helpful with ideas for our trip and cooked us breakfast each morning. Her cooking skills are far beyond what you would expect of a bed and breakfast. I would recommend staying with Krissie to any friend or family member visiting wine country. Be sure to make time in your morning to chat with her over coffee. Her kindness, compassion, and stories truly added to our California experience.

    Harinder2018-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing host! We really enjoyed being hosted by Krissie. She is a wonderful person to get To know and a fabulous chef. Breakfast was fantastic and so was the conversation. Nice big, clean room to stay in with comfortable bed. Room got warm at night but we opened the window and it was fine. Recommended stay!

    Megan2017-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Krissie's place is amazing. Beautiful, cute home with a lovely big tree out front, very open and comfortable space, excellent freshly-prepared breakfast and hand-packed snacks, and Krissie is so accommodating and sweet. Can't believe it wasn't three times the price.

There's so much to see in Sonoma County! Walking distance to Fairgrounds and to Veteran's Bldg (Saturday farmers' market and Sunday flea market). It's near downtown where there's a street Festival every Wednesday (during the Summer). Walking distance from the Airport Express Shuttle stop. The Santa Rosa transit mall (CityBus and Golden Gate transit) is very near. You can take a day trip into San Francisco for about $8 each way. We're a 15 min drive from the Sonoma County Airtport.
We have a twin size bed. We can offer a mat for a second person. There's a heater and a fan in the room. There's a bookcase, dresser drawers and a walk-in closet. The bathroom may be shared with one other person. We're OK with a baby. Pets OK outside.
We are on the Bennett Valley side of town. It's supposed to be the "nicer" side of town, but all of Santa Rosa is really nice. We are originally from LA and we now enjoy the greenery and views of Santa Rosa. We live near downtown SR and walking distance to the Fairgrounds where there is always something going on. We're about 50 minutes from San Francisco if you wanted to make a day trip! We're also 15 minutes from the Sonoma County airport. (You can take wine aboard, FYI.)
  • I only stayed one night and left early the next morning. Veronica is a gracious and very helpful host. The room is small but certainly adequate for one or two guests. The bathroom is private, and guests have the use of the kitchen. Veronica also offered coffee and tea. I highly recommend staying there.

  • Perfect for 1 or 2 people and great location!

    Andy2018-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Small but clean room, single bed plus a comfy mattress on the floor too. Very close to the sonoma county fairgrounds and very friendly hosts.

    Naomi2018-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Veronica was accommodating and very pleasant. It's a great clean space if you need a reliable, clean, simple night's stay.

    Ashley2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was a beautiful home in a quiet, safe area with a tidy bedroom and a clean bathroom. Veronica was very kind when we saw her. There was a bit of a miscommunication about the check-in time and parking situation. Only other issues were an odd smell in the bedroom and very loud mattress. I would recommend this as a good-value place to crash near the Fairgrounds or Sonoma wine country.

    Maryellen2018-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • clean, quiet, pretty close to down town

    Billy2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Veronica’s space is as described. A quiet, private room upstairs with easy access to an very clean bathroom. I like that she has a curtain hung for additional privacy from the other upstairs room. The room is very simple and clean, a twin bed, a workspace and a dresser. I had driven a long way and attended a work training all day so I was pretty tired when I arrived. I took a shower and went to bed but my interaction with Veronica upon check in was very friendly and she was able to offer recommendations for breakfast the following morning. The room suited my needs and the host was very nice.

    Amy2018-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed the night before heading to the Russian River the next morning. Veronica was very responsive. Her home was very clean and easy to find. The room was exactly as advertised. My husband slept on the mattress pad and he reported it was comfortable! Would highly recommend to others looking for a place in Santa Rosa.

A splendid room is in a splendid house. Enter the house through the front porch where you see friendly neighbors during their daily morning and afternoon walks. See the vast open space across the street that borders the splendid house where birds dance around all day long. Step into the large living room with wooden floor, a large desk, a marvelous fireplace and an intimate dining table where you can feel home away from home. Venture into the spacious kitchen where you have access to prepare daily meals and enjoy the sunny atmosphere. The kitchen is nicely apportioned with plenty of kitchen cabinets. One is assigned to a guest, and I provide cookware, plates, utensils, cups and glasses, etc. Are you ready to step inside your room? Walk through the hallway to the second door on your right and you will enter the cozy bedroom. Your bedroom has a wooden floor and contains twin size bed, a closet. You have a shared bathroom. It is fully furnished with chest of drawers, desk, lamps, and chair The house is located off Petaluma Hill Road in a quiet and family friendly neighborhood and is very centrally located. You can walk or bike to shop at Target, Costco, Lola’s supermarket, and downtown Santa Rosa. There are also bus stops nearby to catch public transportation. By the way, there is free wifi in the house. I welcome guests who are respectful, clean, mature, quiet and adhere to our house rules. I ask my guests to clean up after themselves after each kitchen and bathroom use. Maintenance of the house is a collective effort.

  • Great place at a good price. Didn't get to meet Maria but I enjoyed staying there. Communication was easy.

  • If you only need a bed to sleep and a place to shower, this is your place. Not super clean not super dirty, not super comfy but tolerable. I'm sure that roommates will affect cleanliness in common areas i.e.: kitchen and bathroom. You will want a working fan for the hot summers.

    Eve2017-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • The house is located at a nice neighborhood. Maria does not live there, it's a house that she has for guests only. The room that I stayed was good, we have a shared bathroom, but all the other guests were very polite and kept everything clean according to house rules. There is space in cabinets and fridge in the kitchen for each room. I'll go back again if there's availability. Thank you Maria.

Private Wine Country Guest House for two, not attached to the main house. Easy to get to Santa Rosa's downtown, Sonoma coast, the Redwoods, and many outstanding wineries. Hot tub in a beautiful garden. Kitchenette for light cooking. No TV. Has Internet.
This is a private, non-smoking environment meant for comfort and pleasure. The Studio accommodates two people easily. There is a king-sized bed, dining area with table and chairs, and full bathroom. The guests also have use of a hot tub, kitchenette with full refrigerator, two-burner gas cooktop, and a microwave. It's located downtown but in natural beauty, minutes away from many wonderful attractions including world-class wineries, excellent and varied restaurants. Internet is available but there is no television. No pets are allowed. The gardens have many and varied attractions, depending on whether privacy is needed or not. There are several fruit trees with bird feeders nearby for small birds and hummingbirds. There is a patio with a lovely marble top table for dining or sitting outside. The outdoor barbeque can be used in addition to the kitchen facilities. Infinity lounge chairs are located in the yard. There is a small pond with a waterfall to transport you far away.
The neighborhood is residential, but within blocks are grocery stores, a library, a hospital, bookstores, brewpubs (Russian River Brewery), excellent and varied restaurants, movie theaters, bus lines, banks, the downtown mall, Montgomery Village mall, with all of their conveniences. San Francisco is less than an hour away, over the Golden Gate Bridge through beautiful vistas of the Bay en route. Since I am in Wine Country, the guests are minutes away from many wonderful attractions including world-class wineries, the Russian River, Redwood forests, beaches along the coast, Wells Fargo Center for the Arts to name a few. The drive to the coast to Bodega and the drive to the city of Sonoma through the vineyards are not to be missed.
  • Gay was very welcoming. She gave a tour of the studio and the garden when we checked in. It was a chilly weather outside, but she had the heat on before we went which felt very good. The place is as advertised and very convenient. Good restaurants are just a few minutes away. I enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend it to others.

    Deepak2015-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Gay made us feel welcome by greeting us as if we were friends coming by for a visit. She gave us a full orientation and tour of our place as well as the grounds. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint and safe. Walking distance to restaurants nearby. Our favorite and Sonoma County's favorite burger spot is a must visit -Super Burger. Not too far to get to downtown Santa Rosa. Very close to the freeway and to Sonoma County Airport. The description of the place was pretty accurate. Large King Size bed. Wifi and great amenities: Light snacks, tea, filtered water pitcher, coffee beans with grinder was available which was a nice touch. We did not cook but a full working kitchen is convenient including pi Although we did not use the Hot Tub it looked so inviting. My husband and I had wonderful visit and look forward to coming back again!

    Anita2014-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Gay's place is a safe and sound location and is centrally located--maybe my time there both affordable and walkable. thank you.

  • Our stay was great- very comfortable bed and walking distance to town. We didn't get to spend much time at the place but there were really cute seating areas outside.

    Carolyn2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful little spot, felt like we were staying with family. Really enjoyed having our own kitchenette as well. Gay was very welcoming and gave us our space. Great balance. Would definitely stay again.

  • Lovely little guest cabin with a wonderful hot tub! Thanks for a great stay in Santa Rosa gay!

    Sim2018-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • Gay's guest house was a nice quiet little house located just off from her garden behind her main house. Check-in and check-out was easy, and we could come and go as we pleased. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. The bathroom could have used a little more attention, as the shower had some moldy spots and the counter did not appear as if it had been wiped down. The whole guest house really could have used a good dusting, but otherwise appeared clean. Overall, we had a nice stay in Santa Rosa, which was a great launching pad for our winery tour in Sonoma.

    Serena2017-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was just what we were looking for - a quiet, relaxing getaway within walking distance of downtown Santa Rosa. Gay, also, was the sweetest host!

We're about a mile and a half from downtown Santa Rosa. Less than 5 minutes from 101 and Highway 12. We're really close to the fairgrounds, restaurants and the Santa Rosa Marketplace. Lola's Market is conveniently right across the street. You’ll stay in a cozy condo in the shadow of Taylor Mountain. Whether you're here for business or pleasure, it's a great jumping off point for couples, solo adventurers or business travelers.
The home has new carpet, tile and paint throughout. During the warmer months you can enjoy a nice patio with a grill and fire pit table.
South Park is a multicultural neighborhood with great markets, restaurants and a nearby shopping center.

  • Vince was a warm and welcoming host. We were very lucky to have the whole home to ourselves as he was away for the weekend. His home was well kept and clean. We really appreciated being able to use the kitchen which was very well equipped. The location of the home was great. It was good we could park our car in the driveway. Thanks Vince!

  • Had a wonderful stay at Vince's place. He was a great host who was very prompt with any communication. Special thanks for the bottle of wine. Really nice, clean place close to the central part of town. Very close to the freeway. My place is close to restaurants and dining and great views. You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
The room is very quiet and shady at the back of my house, so it stays fairly cool during the summer. There is a space heater available for the chilly nights, and a mini fridge, microwave oven, and Keurig coffee maker. There are cups, plates, utensils, and coffee supplies. There are extra towels and linens in the closet, and shampoo and soap in the bathroom The room has a TV with access to all cable channels. I charge a cleaning fee which includes a portion of the transient occupancy tax that is required by Sonoma County.
I live in a quiet residential neighborhood, which is well maintained. Many of my neighbors have lived here for more than 20 years.
  • Terry was great. She greeted me when I arrived. She showed me around and let me settle in. The neighborhood is great. Very close to shops and restaurants, etc... I enjoyed my stay there. Thank you.

  • My visit to Santa Rosa was amazing. Having Terry extend her home made it very comfortable. The room is just as her description states. The room is quiet and completely private. The room provided all the amenities of a traditional hotel room, with the exception of the extra personal touch of a personalized welcome from Terry. Thank you so much for a comfortable stay!!

  • Maureen met me outside and gave me a brief tour of the room. The neighborhood was lovely, I took a nice walk to a cafe for breakfast. The room itself was perfect! Quiet and secluded in the back of their property . Wish I hadn't had to check out early as I was very comfortable and peaceful staying there . The shower was awesome with good pressure. I would love to stay here again if i come back to Santa Rosa for a visit. The place was immaculate! I met Gary before leaving and they both were warm down to earth folks.

The cottage itself is just the right size and very clean, bright and tastefully decorated. We really enjoyed our time there. It is centrally located and the bed is very comfortable. Maureen and Gary were very pleasant to talk to and unobtrusive - if we were to travel to Santa Rosa again we would do our best to stay there again.

  • Gary and Maureen's cottage was perfect for an overnight from San Francisco. Close to wineries, great restaurants and a regional park with some great hiking. They made everything super easy, and the cottage is in a quiet and peaceful location. We'll be back!

  • Gary and Maureen were very accommodating of our change in schedule and were very welcoming. The neighborhood is lovey, their home and the cottage gorgeous. It is an easy walk to downtown and the many shops and restaurants there. The location is close enough to easily get to things but still quiet and peaceful each night. The cottage is comfortable and attractive. We are very happy and are hoping to stay again on our next trip to Santa Rosa.

Book a lovely room in a Craftsman bungalow in the prestigious historical district of Santa Rosa. There is one room to book so you will be my only guest. Situated in a lovely neighborhood, walkable to the shops and restaurants downtown. A Continental breakfast of juice, coffee /tea and gluten free homemade baked goods is provided. A private quiet atmosphere prevails here. There is a kitty in the house, if you have sensitivity. Let me host your stay in Santa Rosa for a luxury B&B experience!
The home is a charming example of Craftsman style. After Memorial Day guests are welcome to enjoy the out door space where there is a hammock , outdoor covered seating area and lovely garden.
This is one of the loveliest neighborhoods in Santa Rosa. The house a couple of blocks from the McDonald mansion and not far from the restaurant and shopping area of 4th St. The Pacific Market is a short walk if you need any food or beverage supplies. There is a yoga studio, 3 Dog Yoga, in walking distance as well. A well loved restaurant, Willi's Wine Bar, that was lost in the fires shall be re-opening near the Pacific Market sometime this spring. So, no need to drive for a good meal out!
  • Anne provided a great home away from home for us in Santa Rosa. The house was very cozy and Anne was kind enough to cook us a delicious breakfast both mornings. She was very accommodating to our needs as well. Zelda the kitty was great company too! The location is in a charming neighborhood that is a pleasant 10 minute walk to downtown.

Walkability rate was amazing with plenty of things to do. We felt extremely comfortable and respected in Anns home and will definitely return.

  • The host accommodated a quick booking and checkin. She greeted me and immediately dispelled any awkwardness of staying in a stranger’s house. The house was very clean, and the homemade treats were incredible. The house is in a historical neighborhood, close to downtown. A great place to stay

    Daemon2019-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Ann is very friendly. She has a cat that we adore, Zelda, a very curious cat. Despite having a pet in the house, the room was very clean, neat and homelike. We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back. The location is in a lovely neighborhood, with food down the street. It makes for great excercise, whether walk or run in the mornings or evenings. There is minimal traffic. If you are a cat-lover, I highly recommend this spot.

    Luis2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place to stay.

    Mary Beth2019-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was an atypical stay for us in Santa Rosa. We came not to enjoy wine country but instead to assist our daughter and family in a major renovation project. That translated into a stay of hard physical labor and long work hours. Ann had exactly what we needed--close proximity to the work site, a good hot shower at day's end, a very comfortable bed at night. Thank you, Ann. PS...If you are a cat lover (like we are) you will enjoy Zelda.

Studio is also centrally located for brewery and wine tasting trips. Also, please check out our other two spaces on the same property. We have the capacity to accommodate more friends and family.
This is a well-lit, private space attached to the main home. We recently remodeled the bathroom and updated the studio. There is a comfy queen size bed, and some pleasant seating areas inside. The studio opens into an inviting and tranquil outdoor space that is great for reading, lounging or dining. WiFi Coffee/tea and a hotplate. There is NO television. There is no air conditioning in the studio, but there is a fan provided. Backyard is shared, but often private for you. Just let us know if you'd like something special, and we'll do what we can to accommodate. We love to get to know our guests if the opportunity arrises and of course appreciate the interests of privacy and seclusion. The Junior College Neighborhood is the oldest neighborhood in Santa Rosa. • David's place was exactly what we hoped it would be and he is a great host! We were in SR for a family celebration and while it was the location that drew us to his studio, it really was perfect for us in every other way. The studio was quiet and private, it was very clean (and I am a nut about this!) and the layout of the studio and the space it provided for us was perfect. I especially loved that there were fluffy, soft, good quality shower towels and high quality sheets on the bed. As a bonus we got to meet David and enjoy some conversation with him. (But he totally respected our privacy.) Oh, one more bonus is that there was a local bodega 2 blocks away. We will definitely look to stay here the next time we visit Santa Rosa!

Our cozy single room with a separate entrance is a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Santa Rosa. In the heart of Wine Country, the room is located in a cul-de-sac in a quiet Historic Ridgeway neighborhood. The room was recently remodeled with a new bathroom, double doors, new windows and a queen sized bed.
This room is probably best for single guests or couples who are just looking for a comfortable place to crash while in Wine Country! There is an alarm clock, wifi, tea and coffee makers, a TV (and Roku with Netflix and Amazon Video), and a microwave, a toaster oven, and a mini-fridge. We also have central air and heat. A little bit about us...We are a small family with two dogs, a cat, and a toddler. Since the room is attached to our home (and shares a wall with our kitchen) guests will hear us in the house. We are very mindful of this and try to manage noise when we have tenants and appreciate when people let us know if we are being too loud. My 3 year old son is pretty much obsessed with Jimi Hendrix, so on any given stay, his vocal rendition of Voodoo Chile or Purple Haze may reach the room through the wall or connecting door. He plays a very loud air guitar.
The neighborhood is one of the most desirable and sought after areas of Santa Rosa. The quaint homes and beautiful landscapes will make you want to stay! Our favorite restaurants in town are Walter Hansel Bistro in west Santa Rosa for classy local dining, Paradise Sushi in Railroad Square (incredible quality and all you can eat for 24$), Sazon (Peruvian) for amazing Ceviche, and of course Russian River Brewery (but if you are really into craft beer, you have to check out Cooperage)
  • The place is great! Was in town for training and I was able to come and go no problem. It was quiet and very comfortable. Allison is a great hostess with quick communication. It is a short walk to downtown Santa Rosa. Also a very safe neighbourhood!

  • Allison's place was great. Very clean and cozy. The private entrance is really nice as well. I would definitely recommend her place. My boyfriend and I were happy to have somewhere safe and comfortable to come home to at night. Great location as well!

  • Allison's place was exactly what we were looking for. It was cute and tucked away with an easy 15 minute walk to downtown. The place had everything we needed fridge, microwave, coffee maker and dishware. The walls are a little thin so sound passes through easily, but Allison made every attempt to make sure it wasn't too noisy for us.

    Tom2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Allison's little studio was fantastic. She was so friendly and helpful. The room came with a bottle of water, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, keurig, and even bath salts! It was everything we needed for our quick stay and allowed us to work at the desk as well. The room was fresh and clean and homey. This is why we love AirBnB. Allison was there if we needed anything and was in open communication the whole time. The location is great and we found some nice restaurants very close by and Allison suggested some as well! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area (Website hidden by Airbnb)

    Mayela2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Allison’s location is conveniently walkable, and Santa Rosa is a fun spot to stay! I believe we walked less than a mile to the heart of downtown. The room was quite large and spacious, and Allison provided plenty of amenities that made our two-night stay very easy and comfortable. Thanks again, Allison!

    Erin2018-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Allison was very flexible and communicative. The place was great. Would stay here again. Thanks Allison!

The Restful Room is upstairs, a bright single bedroom and bathroom for your use only, in a larger shared house. You have shared access to the livingroom, kitchen, downstairs bathroom, washer/dryer and back deck and patio. There is one parking spot in front and easy parking on the block. We are walking distance from downtown Santa Rosa, Town & Country Center, Pacific Market, Russian River Brewery & numerous places to eat, or hop on your bike and ride. There is lots to do around here.
You will be sharing the house with your host and two INDOOR cats. The cats do not go outside and do not have access to the guest bedroom. If you are allergic, you should consider bringing allergy medication. The guest bedroom and bathroom are for your use and are otherwise not used. The shared downstairs bathroom and kitchen are also available to you. The back yard is a combo of patio and deck. There are a table & chairs with umbrella and a canopy with chairs for you to use. It's a nice place to hang out with a refreshing beverage and have lunch or just sit out and look at the stars on a warm night. The livingroom and television are available to you as well. There is Roku, Amazon fire/music & Netflix with surround sound and many places to relax into.
About a 6 minute walk from here is the Town & Country Center which has a market, a bakery, grocer, restaurant, postal annex, spa, yoga studio...there is so much just there. Downtown is very close and offers many opportunities to eat, shop and drink. The Courthouse Square sometimes offers music and other festivities including a movie night in summer, is surrounded by shops, delicious food and drink for all ages and tastes. On the way to downtown you can stroll the historic Cherry District and see some beautiful old architecture. Houses that have withstood the test of time. The neighborhood also has a small park within walking distance and a YMCA. If you are interested in going on wine tours or checking out the nearby other towns, I have lots of information for you. Spring and fall bring beautiful colors to this neighborhood and a walk around to see them is really worth it.
  • We had a wonderful and restful night after a wedding we attended in the area. Marcia was also kind enough to let us check in early so we could get cleaned up for the ceremony. The room is actually bigger than the pictures show and the futon is mighty comfortable. Marcia greeted us with open arms and was lovely host. Highly recommend staying here!

    Mackenzie & Naomi2019-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem! We felt so at home at Marcia's place! Such a beautifully decorated, restful room with a super-comfy bed. The location is also fabulous; we had two delicious meals out at local restaurants that were only a few blocks away. Marcia is a gracious host and this place is one in a million! Will definitely be returning.

    Rebecca2019-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • This place is cozy, comfortable, and clean. Marcia had excellent restaurant recommendations. The location is unbeatable: quiet, but close to everything. Dancing to live music at the Monroe Hall was a special treat! We will be back.

  • Enjoyed Lisa the hostess, upscale neighborhood and quiet privacy made for a great stay.

    Cyril2018-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • It is a wonderful, cozy little cottage. Wonderful amenities and a great host. Quiet neighborhood, with a park in walking distance. Close to everything.

    Tamara2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our 2 night stay with Lisa while visiting family very much. It suited our needs perfectly and Lisa was very friendly, communicative and attentive. Her nice, clean, very private studio is adjacent to her home but has a totally separate private entrance. It's located in a lovely, convenient, newer neighborhood. The queen bed was very comfortable and all the linens and towels looked brand new. There's a full sized, fully equipped kitchen with a dinette set, the bathroom has a tub/shower and there's even a walk in closet, great for spreading out the suitcases. Thanks, Lisa, we'll be back again!

    Brian & Susan2016-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the studio. The unit was clean, quiet and cozy. Communication with Lisa was great. We met briefly in person and Lisa is a very friendly, welcoming host.

    Mike2018-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa was a great host, responsive and very flexible with my odd check in/out times. The place is comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything you may need during your stay, plus more. The space is private and doesn’t feel like an attached studio. Location is perfect, beautiful neighborhood, close to freeway access, near everything you might want to do in Santa Rosa, or surrounding areas. I highly recommend Lisa’s place.

    Joshua2018-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa's place was amazing. She was a great host and was there for my wife and I with great suggestions or if we needed anything. We would stay with Lisa again in a heartbeat!

    Matt2017-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • This studio is in a great location, on the edge of Santa Rosa and about 40 mins away from Sonoma. It's compact but cozy, with a kitchen, TV, washer-dryer and all the amenities you could need. Lisa was kind enough to include a bottle of wine in the fridge for us too, which was a lovely thoughtful touch! The kitchen contains some basic ingredients for cooking - oil, salt, seasonings - as well as coffee and tea, which is really useful. The water heater was sometimes a little noisy, reheating water a few times during the day, but it didn't last for long and it didn't kick in very often, which was good. Don't let that detract from the rest of the studio though, which is a wonderful and comfortable place to stay. Lisa is a great host, she sent me a few messages before and during our stay and was always quick to respond with useful information. All in all, I'd highly recommend anyone to stay this studio, we had a great time staying here and I'm sure you will too!

You won't find a better location!! The loft is tucked away in the Historic Railroad Square featuring shops, restaurants, and cafe's housed in restored turn-of-the-century stone buildings and walking distance to the Courthouse square. We're happy to share our home without the price hike. Enjoy walking and dinning with the locals. Blocks from the Santa Rosa Creek Trail which is excellent for walking, running and especially cycling with miles of trails to the east and west.
This apartment is rented as an entire home with one lower bedroom (Queen-Sized Bed) and attached half bath. Upstairs is the loft equipt with a bunk bed of a full-sized and twin-sized bed a full bath and washer/dryer. Great for groups of up to 4-5. You will not have to interact with anyone but are welcomed to go anywhere downstairs to eat and drink with the locals and visitors. Because of this incredible location, noise at night is to be occasionally expected. It is the perfect location for anyone looking to really enjoy what Santa Rosa has to offer. Close to the 101 freeway and near some of the best restaurants in the area.
Railroad Square is the historic heart of the downtown and is Santa Rosa’s “Old Town”. Railroad Square was honored with a listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 because of its preservation efforts for restoring and preserving the significant architectural buildings that represent the influence the railroad had on a community. When the first trains arrived in Railroad Square in the 1870’s, the focus of the town turned to the hustle and bustle around the Depot. Railroad Square is excited that the Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) has begun passenger rides from Downtown San Rafael to Santa Rosa, with the main Santa Rosa station being in Railroad Square. This has made it easy – and fun! – for visitors from Marin County and beyond to come to Sonoma County for short trips for shopping, entertainment, and more. Minutes walking distance to: -SMART Train -Jack and Tony's -Toad in the Hole -Starks -Omelette Express -Flying Goat -Any many more
  • Annie buzzed us in remotely but was super alert and great to communicate with. Also, the place exceeded our expectations. It really was a super hip loft in the middle of downtown. It's a few blocks away from Russian River Brewery which we unfortunately couldn't find time for. This apartment is great for when you want to visit the Charles Schulz museum and the Petrified Forest.

    Maria2017-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and cute apartment. Private, quiet, and comfy. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, the Smart Train, and shopping.

  • Very convenient place for downtown, close to restaurants, coffee shops and other shops (expect typical street noise). Stephanie was very quick at communicating and pleasant to deal with.

    Peter2018-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect loft for a weekend getaway. Close to food and shops. Stephanie was a great host and super attentive to our needs! The aesthetic/decorations were awesome - very Instagram-worthy

    Shannon2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is an adorable apartment in an unbeatable location! Right on Railroad Square with easy walking access to Downtown Santa Rosa. We rented a car but ended up walking more than driving since everything was just so close! The apartment itself was clean and spacious, and Stephanie was a super responsive and welcoming host. Will definitely stay here again!

    Cassidy2018-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie’s place was great. Location was awesome. Such a cute area. Lotz of choices to eat and soo little time. She was also a speedy when communicating. Would definitely recommend.

  • My girlfriends and I had a great stay here. The location is really great with its wonderful restaurants and being a half block from the Flying Goat coffee shop. We thought parking would be a problem but the meters in front weren’t an issue for us as long as we got back around 8pm-ish and left by 10am. It’s also free on Sundays. The place is spacious and the half bath was a plus with the three of us. Stephanie also checked in with us (via text) the next day to see if everything was okay. She was very responsive. Thanks for sharing your place!

Welcome to our beautiful house built in the 1880's, just a few blocks from downtown Santa Rosa. I am a chef and excited about hosting travelers. I have one friendly, playful dog (Orca) and a large backyard. You will have your own bathroom and queen bed.
A large open, clean and comfortable space. We have worked hard to make this a cozy and welcoming home and hope to be able to share the space with friendly, considerate people. The house is two bedrooms and two bathrooms, you will have your own private bath that is down from your bedroom (the bath is not en suite) but just down the hall a bit. The house does not have air conditioning but it has a large tree that gives a lot of shade and keeps the house cool even on hot summer days. There are fans in each room. If you are traveling during the colder months we do have heat, so not to worry!
We are located in the historic Junior College neighborhood, just a few blocks from downtown Santa Rosa. There are many great events that happen throughout the summer and fall just blocks from the house. There is also a small market a block down from the house.
  • Sarena was so welcoming and quick to respond and make sure everything was in order before I even arrived. It was easy checking in and she was extra accommodating as my flight out was later than check out. The pups are friendly and well behaved, the room and bathroom are as pictured (shower is on the shorter side so not ideal for tall folks but worked great - temperature and pressure wise), and since there are wood floors bring socks or slippers if you get cold feet. The location and house are hard to beat. Staying here felt like staying at a friend's house, I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

  • Great house and host!

    Peter2018-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Sarena was great, she worked with our schedule to make sure our arrival went smoothly event though she wasn't there. The house is beautiful, bed comfortable and her dogs are great. I highly recommend staying here.

    Sue2015-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful spot nestled walking distance to town. Super comfy bed!!! Awesome hosts with lots of great info about the area. It's a quiet and super clean home. Bathtub after a long day's drive was heavenly.

    Shona2017-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with Sarena was great! She was so warm and welcoming and it was like staying with an old friend rather than someone we just met. Her dogs were the best and so sweet. Her home is beautiful. Sarena was so helpful ahead of time in suggesting great places to visit and then continued to give us great dinner and winery places once we got there. We LOVED every place she sent us! I would stay here again and highly recommend staying with her in her beautiful home.

    Samantha2016-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Sarena and Josh have an really beautiful house and their dogs are so friendly and playful, but also quite well behaved. I only got to meet Josh and he was very welcoming and easy going. I have a few friends travelling to Santa Rosa later this year and they've all asked me to forward the link to this place after I told them about it.

    Jay2017-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Sarena’s home was perfect for what we were looking for during our anniversary getaway to Sonoma. Her house is not only adorably charming, but also updated and spotless. I especially loved the claw footed bathtub. Sarena was welcoming and available as needed, but never intrusive on our stay. We brought our puppy with us, and her dog Orca was so sweet with him. We left him at her home one of the days we were there, and he ended up barking while Sarena was home. Instead of asking us to come back to get him, she allowed him to play out in her yard with Orca. We appreciated her patience, and her understanding made her an even better hostess. The location was also perfect, a short walk to many good restaurants, and about a half hour drive from wineries in Sonoma. Napa is only about an hour, but staying in Santa Rosa is preferable because it’s much closer to many more wineries and much more affordable. We loved our stay, and we would return in a heartbeat.

    Alana2018-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • In town for a friend's wedding weekend. We had a busy schedule but Sarena made sure everything ran seamlessly. The house is absolutely charming, and clean. The dogs are so sweet and well-behaved. Sarena is very professional, considerate, and anticipated multiple things we might have needed before we did, such as iron, bedroom fan, multiple keys, wine boxes, toothbrush. It was better than a hotel, it felt more like staying with a friend.

Open and inviting home with great lounging and relaxing areas. Walking distance to downtown. This is the perfect place for a couple wanting a spacious and relaxing home to enjoy, and also great for a small group to enjoy together. Great restaurants and bars nearby and centrally located for beer, spirits and wine touring. Ocean is 30 minute drive. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the cooking basics, spices, tea and coffee. I live on the property so am available if any needs arise.
Our home has been a creative and imaginative process over the past many years and now we'd like to share it with you. Two large upstairs bedrooms opening onto a terrace balcony overlooking lush landscaping. The downstairs is very open and includes a recently updated gourmet kitchen with gas stove and electric oven. Many comfortable lounge areas. There is a large raised patio off the kitchen and living area. Laundry on site. Walk downtown is 7-10 minutes. Please note, we have an outdoor cat who is often welcomed into the house by guests. Please be aware if you have sensitivities to cats.
The Junior College Neighborhood is the oldest neighborhood in Santa Rosa. It is rich in diverse architecture with homes dating back into the late 1800's. The area is great for walking, and has an incredible variety of heritage trees. The JC Neighborhood is also a devoted and welcoming community of diversity and inclusion. A quick stroll through the streets and you will see what we mean. Downtown is a 5-10 minute walk, taking you to some great restaurants and breweries. Russian River Brewery, Belly, La Vera, El Coqui Puerto Rican cuisine, Sizzling Tandoor, Historic Railroad Square, and other ethnic and gastro-pub eateries, are all within a 5-15 minute walk.
  • David was so thoughtful and quick to respond. My wife and I made several adjustments and David was very thoughtful and kind. His home is cozy and very centrally located.

  • Very nice home, centrally located near downtown Santa Rosa. We took a guys trip up to go to Russian River Brewing, it was just a ten minute walk. The home was nicely furnished and included all the amenities we needed. Nice stay!

    Garet2018-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • David’s house is 10mins walking distance to Russian River Brewery! We’ve enjoyed being able to walk to downtown and grab Pliny the Younger. The check in process was easy as well. David came by and let us in. BUT note, if you have a cat allergy, David’s place is not a good place for you. We did not know that other AirBnb guests have allowed the cat, Luna, in the house before (according to the guestbook, it even sleeps with guests in the bed when it’s allowed). My family is deathly allergic to cats!!! We thought we could survive by not allowing her back in. But she scratched the door all night and we were sneezing and getting red eyes the next day. We ended up getting another place last minute. :( But David was understanding and prompt and gave us a partial refunds for our trouble. So we won’t be back, but I appreciated David’s effort to fix the situation.

Anywhere you go you will get bad news, here is ours upfront: -Highway 12 is our backyard neighbor - good side: it is raised up so what you see is a forest and we are very close to the highway access of 12 and 101. Bad side: highway hum primarily during the day you may not be used to. However, your room is on the side opposite the highway for added quiet. -Hidden behind an ivy covered fence across the street is a secluded towing company. They do not have many calls and most of their work is done during daylight hours. The drivers are considerate to the residential area. -SMART Train runs in the distance. Take the SMART train from the Santa Rosa airport to the station 3 blocks from our home! Santa Rosa is declared a quiet zone, meaning that the train can only honk if there is an emergency. It is only a passenger train so noise is very minimal. Our street is peaceful given its awesome location downtown!
  • Dave was an extraordinary host. He provided an informative and enjoyable tour of the farm as well as a fantastic, homegrown breakfast. Both Dave and Lisa were warm, welcoming, and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. I would highly reccommend staying here when you stop through Santa Rosa. And check out Russian River brew pub while you're in town!

  • What a gem! Hummingbird Farm was the perfect spot to rest our heads for the night. Dave and Lisa were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Not only were they fantastic hosts but the property is magical! We really enjoyed the tour of the garden. They are very knowledgable and encouraging for anyone trying to cultivate a green thumb. Plus the chickens are just as cute as they can be! The farm to table breakfast was the cherry on top :) Great location, comfortable bed, delicious food. I would recommend a stay at hummingbird farm to anyone! Thanks guys!

  • When I booked Dave and Lisa's urban farm, I was looking for an experience (it was for an anniversary) and not just a place to sleep. I was interested in having something different and unique and that's just what I got. The breakfast they make you is thoughtful and delicious. I thought the frittata was good and then the next day I had the savory waffles. AMAZING. They also infused mint into our coffee and tea which was also a really nice touch. Dave brews beer and let us try a flight of his current beers, one of which had notes of kaffir lime and chili pepper in it (Very tasty). It may not look like you're in a fancy hotel, but it sure tastes like one. They are also very dog friendly and we were traveling with our dog so that was a huge bonus. They even dog sat for us while we were out exploring. Find me a Sheraton that will do that for you. The room wasn't upscale, but the bed you sleep in is SO wowicouldlayinthisthingforever COMFORTABLE. Living in a big city, I don't experience farmlife often. Dave gave us a tour of their farm and shared his passion for a sustainable lifestyle that was inspiring. Oh, and I got to pet their chickens! Staying with Dave and Lisa was like visiting old friends you hadn't seen in a long time. They are good, kind, and authentic people and you really get a sense that they care about the idea of hospitality. Theirs is a true "bed and breakfast." They're a sweet couple and you really feel taken care of. I would highly recommend them if you want something special.

  • Dave and Lisa were delightful. The property was just as advertised. My wife especially enjoyed playing with the "chicks" they are raising for egg production. Cozy and comfortable. Dave makes a mean quiche for breakfast too!

  • This was the best Airbnb stay ever, no exaggeration. Warm welcome, clean room, scrumptious breakfasts, lots of tips based on local knowledge, and adequate privacy. The small farm on premises is impressive and we even came away with a gift of fresh vegetables. I plan to return!
