Aigburth is a fantastic part of Liverpool - a great community yet a very quick and easy train /bus ride into the city centre. Please note, if you want a city centre location, then this is not it! 2 minutes walk away is Lark Lane - a great street full of independent shops, restaurants and cafes.... from tapas, to Chinese, from steak to Italian, from Indian to Moroccan, you will find it all on the doorstep. I am more than happy to share some recommendations! On Lark Lane you can also use the City Bikes - allowing you to pick up and drop off bikes at hundreds of locations across the city. Sefton Park - one of the largest and most beautiful parks in the city is less than a 5 minute stroll away. At 235 acres or 4km in circumference, its great for an afternoon run! If not enjoy the green fields, boating lake, or the Palm House, a stunning Victorian conservatory. The park is also home to some fantastic events including craft fairs, food festivals and free concerts! The city centre is a short train or bus ride away. In the city centre you have amazing shops, bars and restaurants as well as great tourist attractions! You will never be bored for something to do!

We a short five minute walk from the promenade and river mersey, Lark Lane a lovely street with bars and restuarants and Sefton Park at the top.
My wife and I have lived all of our lives in this home, we have housed foreign visitors to our country for a number of years through English learning schools, we are happy to share our home and to give details on the area and help and advice to anyone visiting our city that we feel so proud of.
I have lived all of my life in this area, there are many locations within a short walk from our home that I am proud of, we have a walk through priory woods which brings you to the promenade of the river mersey, which is great to visit both in Summer and Winter. A favourite of many people in the area is Lark Lane the bars and restaurants are very chic, hip and it always has a great atmosphere to visit. Allthough for a proper night out the city centre is only a twenty minute journey away from our home with the bus and train stops near to our house.

There are two double beds and and one extra bed can be set up. The room is on the second floor and seperate from the rest of the house. There is enough space to set up a travel cot. It is located in South Liverpool with good public transport links. Double glazed and central heated. Tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom.
It's a warm big old victorian house with lots of real wooden features. It is fully double glazed with a loft and kitchen conversion. It has 3 large bedrooms and a textile room. There is a big open plan kitchen living room downstairs and a plant filled back yard space for smokers and some fresh air. Smoking mainly outside only occasionally in the living room. No smoking in the upper floors and bedrooms. There is a Laurel tree in the yard and two bikes parked in the hallway.
From the front door it's a 15 minutes walk to the edge of the river Mersey in the beautiful Otterspool area or a 5 minute walk to Sefton Park and Otterspool Woods. Both popular areas for families, runners, cyclists and to be surrounded by nature. Our street is an old terraced street with a friendly mix of families and students. There is generally a quiet atmosphere. Around the corner are a few take aways. There is a supermarket half a mile away, a corner shop close by and the popular bohemian Lark Lane restaurant and pub area just a 15 minute walk away.

My atmospheric and cozy room offers a quiet refuge minutes away from the busy Liverpool city centre. It's located nearby bohemian Lark Lane and in between the beautiful Princess and Sefton Parks.The comfy room is ideal for single or double occupancy, or a couple with a child/friend. The flat is 7-20min away from the heart of the city, which can be easily accessed by train, bus, car/taxi or a bicycle. Parking is available in front of the house. I'll be happy to welcome you to my humble abode and make your stay comfortable.
The vintage atmospheric room I have to offer is a large room with sleeping, sitting, dining, work/study space available. It's ideal for someone coming to Liverpool for leisure or business/study purposes. Can be comfortably occupied by a solo traveller, 2 people or a small family of 3-4 (2adults+1-2kids OR 3adults). The maximum occupancy is 4 adults, but only if/when I provide an extra double mattress - this is subject to availability, so please message me and I'll see if I'll be able to provide it for the dates needed! This lovely, clean room features a double bed with a new orthopaedic mattress, a sofa bed (bed slightly bigger than a single bed, could be used by up to 2 kids or an adult), large antique mirror, vintage armchair and a rocking chair, reclaimed wood table and two chairs, coffee table, fresh bed linen/towels/blankets, hangers for clothes, and other accessories to make the room nice and cosy.
I live in a beautiful green neighbourhood, just short walk away from stunning parks: Sefton Park, Princess Park and the Festival Garden. The Mersey river promenade is less than 20min walk from here (through the Festival Gardens:) and takes you into the Albert Docks. It's a lengthy walk, but really beautiful and worth it. I often take the promenade to cycle into town, which shortens it to half hour bike ride! Quirky bohemian street Lark Lane with lovely cafes, pubs, restaurants and little shops is less than 2 min away, and the city centre as well as the airport is easily reached from here.

2 miles from the city centre 30 mins walk in a quiet location. Immaculate and classic with outdoor space. South facing balcony and all mod cons. Our guests are always welcome and all areas of the communal spaces are available for use. We aim to make the experience a positive one and include our guests. We provide English tea, coffee, toast and cereal for breakfast and simply ask and we are happy to help. Pics aren't great though I'm no photographer.
we are not late night party people as we work, though if your out late its no issue to us simply do not disturb. We have outdoor space and are close to the city centre. There islocal Victorian park (Sefton Park) closeby with a lake and a high road called Lark Lane. There is an array of choice in eateries and if you're a foodie you will be in your element. The bars range from traditional to a Cantina. There are also music venues. It is conservation area and no outdoor drinking after 11pm. The Park hosts numerous festivals and it isn't unusual to see a celeb or two and filming known dramas and serials. There are also a lot of free activities, for example tennis courts. The local community is a friendly one
A hidden gem and Liverpool's best kept secret, boho, bars and restaurants walking distance a well sought after area. During the summer we have music festivals and free events locally so if you're interested just ask and we will provide information.

This is a clean, spacious and newly decorated house. There are two comfortable double bedrooms available for guests. It's situated in a quiet street but with easy access to trains and buses and a multitude of local amenities.
The house is situated in Aigburth, a leafy suburb of South Liverpool. Sefton Park with it's beautiful lake, cafe's and wonderful glass palm house, is a short walk. To reach it you walk down Lark Lane which is the heart of Liverpool's bohemian area. You'll be spoilt for choice with the variety of restaurants, cafe's and wine bars. It also has it's fair share of traditional English pubs! Prince's Park is between here and the city centre. In the other direction, 5 minutes walk and just beyond the train station is the Garden Festival Site. Beyond this is the River Mersey and Otterspool Promenade. (There is a great activity centre for kids at Otterspool.) Turn left and you reach Otterspool Park and turn right towards the Albert Dock with the Beatles Museum, The Tate Gallery, Echo Arena and many other amenities. If you want to move faster than walking pace there are 'City Bike' docking stations at Otterspool Promenade, the top of Lark lane and Sefton park.

The location is the best thing about our apartment. It's not in town, but there are cheap, quick and frequent public transport links into town. It's in a pleasant, leafy and quiet suburb of the city (Aigburth), but it's also right next to Lark Lane, which is lively and bustling! The city centre is very easily accessible, but Aigburth, Sefton Park and Lark Lane can be enjoyed in their own right... Lark Lane is great! It's just around the corner (but completely out of hearing range) and is vibrant with life, eating and drinking - particularly at weekends. With loads of bars, pubs, cafés, restaurants and interesting shops, you will find places you like and, I'm sure, will have a good time! Lark Lane also has takeaways, convenience stores and a well-stocked express supermarket (with off-license). With a larger supermarket 3 or 4 minutes away on Aigburth Road. Sefton Park is 5 minutes' walk, and is beautiful and leafy, with a lake, two cafés, a brilliant kids' playground, The Palm House, free tennis courts and lots of lovely open space. Princes Park is just 5 minutes away too, and is en-route if you choose to walk into town. It's also easy to get to Festival Gardens and Otterspool Promenade on foot - just walk on past St Michael's train station and through the small wooded area, cross the road at the bottom and you're in Festival Gardens. From here there is excellent signage to the waterfront.

Glorious view of Sefton Park from your bedroom. No sound of traffic or street noise. Neighbours are very friendly and quiet as well.. Plenty trees with little or no pollution. A lovely spacious garden, to the back and front. Lark lane is the opposite side of the park, just a few mins walk.

My Tudor style house in the heart of Liverpool's leafy suburbs of Aigburth, just a short bus journey away from the City center. Surrounded by parks, gardens and promenade and located 5 mins walk from all local amenities and Lark Lane which features a wide selection of bars, restaurants, cafes and boutique shops! There is even a farmers market that takes place the 3rd Saturday of each month and a weekly flea market at the Old Police Station.
My house is an Tudor style building with 4 double rooms, 2 of which are occupied by myself and house mate, Leigh who works for the FA and is away a lot. I have a small, well house trained dog called Fruitcake who is very welcoming to new people and who is only ever in the house when I am.
Aigburth is one of Liverpool's finest, greenest treasures which is only about 10 minutes from the city centre via bus or train. 5-10 minutes walking in any direction of the house will bring you to Sefton Park, Lark Lane, Aigbuth Vale, Supermarkets, Sunday Farmers markets, Lark Lane ( hub of bustling cafes, bars, restaurants and boutique shops) Otterspool promenade, Festival Gardens and Priory Woods (next to the train station)
