There and back again: You’ll be running at a leisurely pace within Mississauga. We’ll be chatting and taking in nature as we run to and from a particular location. You'll get the unique experience of being guided by an ultra-runner and discover spots only locals know about. You'll be inspired to keep active and notice the little things in your life so that you can build your gratitude.
Other things to note
This is a leisurely run with more focus on talking, getting to know one another and noticing our surroundings, than an intense run. Our pace will never be faster than 4mph or 6.5kmph. Please pack light if you’re bringing water and food. And please dress appropriately for that day’s weather.

I am an ultra-marathon runner with over 30 years’ experience in long-distance running, both in road and trail races (5km to marathon distances). My first marathon was in Hawaii as part of Team Canadian Diabetes. As part of the team I was a volunteer guide runner for a blind runner.

I have 10 years’ experience in ultra-running. I am a Canfitpro-certified Fitness Instructor Specialist.

Running is a way of life for me and I want to share the joys of running with you. My goal is to motivate and inspire you to give yourself at least 30 minutes of exercise a day and to notice and appreciate nature all around you. Being out in the fresh air, moving your body and socializing with others, will help you increase your productivity and improve your mood.

This was a wonderful experience! Melanie was an excellent host. Her perspective of the world and nature made this run so much more enjoyable. I learned so much in such a short time. Most importantly I learned to appreciate the nature around me and in my own backyard! Thank you so much for hosting me today, I plan on doing this again!
