In this 90min online experience, learn how to Koreanize your home cooked favorites. Originally from South Korea, I’ve been living abroad for many years working as a freelance food & travel journalist and I’ve been fortunate to meet renowned chefs and learn about different cuisines, flavours and techniques.

I will share the story behind each dish and snippets from my interviews with some of the most renowned chefs in the world. By the end of the class, it is my goal to help you start a Korean food revolution of your own!

I am a freelance food writer and cooking instructor from South Korea living in England, UK. I have published two books in Korean and regularly write food and travel articles for a Korean magazine. Until this year, I was travelling a lot, interviewing a lot of world famous chefs and learning about different cuisines. I love to take other Airbnb online experiences as well!

From having lived outside Korea for many years, I am familiar with the challenges you face in finding the right ingredients. We have had several lessons with Wan Jeong and we enjoyed it every time. WJ informs you upfront what you need and how to prepare everything you need. She is patient and easy to follow. We will surely book again. :)

The classes are organized in a perfect way. I liked that I received detailed information upfront about what to shop and prepare for each dish. The class itself was wonderful and the dishes are delicious. I will book another one with Wan Jeong for sure!

Absolutely recommend cooking with Wan Jeong! She was very kind and thoughtful, felt very welcomed in her cooking lesson. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the food came out delicious! Totally recommend for anyone!

This was the most amazing class! We had so much fun and Wan Jeong was so lovely. It was my boyfriend’s birthday so she sang happy birthday to him and had him virtually blow out a cake! She was also really patient with us and explained step by step how to make the most amazing Kimbap. Really recommend as a fun activity with friends and family. Thanks Wan Jeong!!

Great experience and a lot of fun! WJ was very patient and explained everything very well. If you want to learn how to cook some Korean dishes I'd definitely recommend this!

Wan Jeong’s experience has been always excellent as usual. This time we made omurice, braised tofu, and daikon salad. The meal was so comfort and made me feel like home. Very delicious and I was very happy.
