Ce que vous allez faire

In this experience, I will take you through one of the most important paths during the Inca's time: the Antisuyo path. The Incas used this road system for a variety of purposes. The path not only provided transportation for people traveling through the territory, but also provided many military and religious purposes for the Incas. So in this experience we are going to walk a small section of it but also very rich: we are going to see some Inca buildings, like the temples of Pachamama (mother nature) and the constellations were worshiped, at the same time we will appreciate the agricultural terraces where Incas farmed more than 3000 varaities of potatoes, can you believe that?! all this not forgetting the amazing landscape that will be seen while we walk along this road outside Cusco city. The meeting point and the start of our hike is San Blass Square, after 1 hour we will get to the Pachamama Temple & the enegmatic heart shaped heart stone that we can touch to recharge our positive energies, then we carrie on for about 2 hours enjoying the sorroundings full mountains and glaciers in the distance. Our last stop is the Inca site of Inkilltmbo. Back to Cusco after 1 hr walking.

Ferdinand

Born in Cusco city and passionate for the Andes. I spent my childhood in the mountains were I was able to feel and experience the local way of living, as well able to learn the ancestral language of the Incas (quechua). This language help me to interact in a better way with the locals and i anderstood the importance of the mountais and nature for the surviving of this people. So, as an adult I became a tour leader from the city to the mountains and beyond :) Now I want to show travellers the non turistic spots from Cusco area, adding an autenthic and unique experiences to their travels.
