Au programme

We’ll take you on a taste journey through traditional flavors by foraging edible insects and flowers in the Mezquital Valley. We do require a minimum of two people for the experience. The objective of the Teotlacualli Farm is foraging bugs. It promotes the territory, culture and pleasure of eating a delicacy directly from its source. Food preparation
We’ll cook the different flowers and insects while learning the traditional methods of preparation.
Beer, pulque, mezcal
Pulque and mezcal are traditional drinks made from agave. They’re considered to be very healthy and sometimes an aphrodisiac.
4x4 vehicle
We’ll leave early to escape the morning traffic, and ease into the peaceful landscape of the Mezquital Valley in Hidalgo.
Breakfast
Hot champurrado (corn beverage) and homemade tamales
