Stretch, move and relax to the sound of Japanese Zen music.

First we'll first find a peaceful spot in beautiful Yoyogi Park, where I'll guide you through a 70 minute yoga class tailored to your desires and ability. We'll start gently and slowly, moving mindfully to find the connection between body, mind, movement and breath, before moving on to a more powerful flow. We're looking to find the balance between effort and relaxation, strength and surrender, flexibility and strength, but most importantly finding clarity of the mind. The class is accompanied by the sounds of traditional Japanese Zen music to guide you into a deeper state of relaxation. In this way we can harmonise the ancient Indian practice of Yoga and the Japanese tradition of Zen.

After final relaxation we will do a 20 minute sound meditation, exploring the use of mantra chanting, breath-work and the enchanting sounds of Japanese instruments to take you into a completely relaxed state. Whether you're planning to spend the day exploring the nearby Meiji Shrine or shopping in the sensory overload of Harajuku, this is the perfect way to start your day!

Polly's passion for yoga stems from an intrinsic desire to learn about how movement, breath and focus can help us to control and silence our mind. Polly is an RYT 300hr Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher and currently teaches regular classes in Tokyo.

Absolutely loved the yoga! Polly was super lovely, and a great instructor. I definitely recommend doing it on the weekdays, the park is so quite and peaceful. I would definitely do this again ❤

Polly arrived early at the entrance of the park to wait for us. Then we entered the brautiful quiet Yoyogi park. The weather was exceptional that day giving that it was raining season . Polly then took us through this mindful well structured class. Giving that i just got off 13 hrs flights the night before , it was very much needed good stretching and centering. Can't recommend enough ! Thanks Polly !

너무 예쁘고 친절한 선생님이였어요. 요가는 잘 못하지만 해외여행할 때 꼭 요가를 하는데, 이번에도 탁월한 선택이였습니다. 전날 비가와서 바닥이 축축했지만 polly는 좋은 장소를 다시 찾아주었고 무사히 마쳤어요. 스트레칭 위주의 요가였고 딱 저에게 필요한 프로그램이였습니다. 항상 행복하길 바래요 Polly. 감사합니다:)

Polly was so lovely and went out of her way to cater for my changed booking. The yoga is run in a quiet part of Yoyogi Park and a great way to relax. Polly catered the level of yoga to my needs. I would recommend this experience to others who are keen to unwind after a busy day in Tokyo!

My boyfriend and I had never done yoga or meditation before and Polly's class was a great introduction. This is a class for complete beginners, intermediates and also advanced students. Polly gives both a basic and advanced version of poses. The meditation is wonderful, prepare to feel really aware and excellent after the class!
