In Dijon there are several co-op/wine shops that have the same prices and wine that you could get from a vineyard. However this time of the year(Autumn) most wineries are booked.... many weddings, family occasions & harvest. A visitor may not speak French or know the roads. This is where I offer wine shops/co-op wine experiences that "we" could provide small wine delivery(DHL) straight to your home or just have fun. I'm a licensed importer/exporter & people always ask how to get wine home? 1. We'll meet at the train station (Dijon GARE) & walk. 2. Start with a wine tasting at the Buvette(Le Marché) and locals know on Tuesdays-Fridays-Saturdays it's where to be! 3. In the afternoon we'll continue with traditional French cuisine, and a wine pairing for lunch at my favorite restaurant (the area is from medieval times) 4. After or before lunch we will attend another booked tasting in a wine cellar dating back to the XVI Century, it's pretty epic & not something you could experience everyday. 5. "If there's time?" We'll stroll through time to our last glass of wine, at a cafe located on one of the oldest streets in Dijon. This street dates back to the 4th century, and a great place to unwind after the day. Throughout the tour we'll talk wine, I'll explain a little history of Burgundy & what life was really like living in the castles(châteaux) in medieval times. Are you ready?
I am a Licensed Wine & Beer Importer/Exporter with my own Boutique Wholesale Company called Game of Seasons. I am a Certified Sommelier lll and an American Expat living and working in Wine and Tourism in Burgundy, France (The Cote d'Or). I've lived in France for 6 yrs, and grateful for this opportunity. I'm a former flight attendant, and started visiting France almost 20 years ago. I love sharing France's architecture, history and centuries of wine and beer making (the monks were cool.) Speaking French and English helps, not bad for a girl from San Francisco! Being an Airbnb Superhost really got me into recommendations and pursuing adventures on my own and sharing with others. My favorite part of wine life, is to introduce others to taste, smells, sites, and experiences right under their nose.

The Market( le marché) 1st stop to wine taste. Followed with lunch at one of my favorite traditional French restaurants, near a famous landmark . Then we'll have a Grand Cru wine tasting at a XIV Century cellar. If there's time? The last tasting of the day will be at my friends wine shop, on a street that dates back to the days of Charlemagne.
