Au programme

We will have a tour of ourwinery . After a short introduction of our history We will visit the different locations of the production and refining of the wine. We will explain the different phases of prduction starting from the harvest to the bottleing. We will pass trought the tinaia ( room of big cask and tanks), bottaia (room for barriques and tonneaux) and vinsantaia ( room of "caratelli" small casks used for vinsanto ) and We will finish in our tasting room with a nice view on the barriques.
We will try our organic wines inside the cellar pairing with our organic oil and local products.
During the tasting We will give You also some indications about the wine tasting and the wine pairing.

I'm the owner of the winery I Veroni. We are in Pontassieve (FI) just 12 km from Florence. We are in Chianti Rufina DOCG.
I'm working hard to improve the quality of my wines year after year.
I studied law and i get graduated but my true passion is wine and make my winery one of the best in Tuscany is my dream. I follow EVERY phase of my winery starting from the vineyard care to the marketing operations. I know very well all the aspects of the wine production and I formed my workers in this activity.
It will a pleasure for me or my co-hosts David and Elena to let You enter in our "HOUSE" and explain how much work We need to do to produce such a good wine.

Le lieu

We will start from our yard where are the still tanks and We will follow the same trip of the grapes. After the silos area We will enter in to the Tinaia where we hae the big concrete tanks and big oak casks. After We will enter in the vinsantaia where we age our vinsanto in small casks then We will visit the bottaia where are stocked big casks, barriques and tonneaux. To finish our trip We will sit in our elegant tasting room.
