We’ll be welcomed into the restaurant with a round of alcoholic drinks, like palm wine or stout, or non-alcoholic malt drinks. As we sip our drinks and relish the goat head main course known as Isi-Ewu and white rice, I’ll tell you a bit about my cultural background. Guests must be meat-eaters and comfortable with hot, spicy, and exotic food. Many flavors may be unfamiliar. The stew is almost all of the goat's head, including the eyeballs, gristle, and tongue.
