Join me, a local community fixture known as Flower Bike Man, or one of our passionate guides, for a magical cycling tour of Amsterdam’s best-kept secrets. • We’ll meet in the city center, where I’ll share the heartfelt story behind the flower bikes before you choose your colorful ride and we hit the road. • Then we’ll set off on our tour, which will take us pedaling along Amsterdam’s iconic canals, quiet courtyards, and lesser-known streets as we take in sights like the Jordaan district, Anne Frank house, and Museum square along the way. • Throughout our ride, I’ll share some of my favorite stories, dish on local history, and let you in on the inspiration behind some of my creations. Join me, a beer sommelier, for an immersive 3.5-hour dive into Dutch beer culture and history with a pub crawl through Amsterdam’s Old Town to uncover how beer shaped Dutch history—from medieval times to the modern craft beer revolution. • We will meet in Dam Square right in front of The Royal Palace and then take a 5 minute walk to our first venue. • Our first stop will be De Pilsener Club, a cozy traditional bar that opened in 1893. Sip a classic beer and jenever—a juniper-flavored liquor popular in the Netherlands—as I explain beer’s impact on trade from the Middle Ages to the 17th century. • Next, head to the tasting room at In De Wildeman to enjoy a carefully chosen beer from the selection of 18 on tap and 250-plus in bottles. I’ll discuss the effects of the Industrial Revolution on commercial brewing. • Wrap up with a locally brewed craft beer at Proeflokaal Arendsnest, which has more than 50 Dutch beers on tap and more than 100 types in bottles. As we reflect on how beer styles have evolved for modern palates, you’ll leave with suggestions for more places to drink good beer in Amsterdam.

Closed and Heated Boat from November 1st till March 1st. Otherwise an open boat! Februari 21st at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm will be an open boat! The Friends and Family boat tour. With a fun group (24 guests) on a full electric boat, you will see and hear more than on those glass busses. You will go on the most relaxing, comfy and fun family and friends boat ride through the canals of Amsterdam. But not just any boat ride. You will be indulged with stories, history and humor. But besides that, you will also be meeting guests from all over the world. And they all speak English. Get to know France, India, Spain, Andorra, Italy , US and so much more while your at it. Meeting point is on the Julianabrug, Zaandijk. On the bridge we have a spectacular view on the windmills of the Zaanse Schans. The duration of the tour is two hours. Do you prefer another meeting point, for example Amsterdam Central Station, or train station Zaandijk-Zaanse Schans, or another meeting time please contact me. I will show you the houses in beautiful Zaans green and you can take a look at the first store of Albert Heijn (1887). First we walk to the clog maker. You will see a demonstration making clogs/wooden shoes . Then we go to the cheese factory where a demonstration and explanation is given, and of course we are going to taste cheese. Last but not least we will walk to the windmills and it is possible to visit "De Kat" paint mill, for example. If you want to visit another windmill, this is also possible. Entrance fee is not included. Finally, I will take you back to the starting point of the tour. Other things to note Is a meeting point in Amsterdam possible? Yes, at the railway station Amsterdam CS. Once the sun has set, Amsterdam really comes alive with colour and light. A city built around water, it is truly magnificent to photograph at night, offering all the specific aspects landscape photographers are after: a rich building history spanning medieval, renaissance, gothic and ultra-modern architecture, intimate lighting around the canals offering dreamy compositions and a beautiful contrast between light and dark, and also many reflections throughout the canal belt. I have been photographing the city professionally for twenty years, and I know the best compositions Amsterdam has to offer at night, as well as how to shoot them. If you are interested in long exposure photography at night, and want to create some simply stunning compositions during your stay in Amsterdam, this is the right place to start. We will discuss all aspects of photography, from creative to ultra technical. It doesn't matter what your level is, from beginner to expert, the idea of the tour is to get some great photos of the city at night, and enjoy walking around Amsterdam's historic landmarks with a local, professional photographer. Best of Amsterdam on a sidecar in 1h

Also see my 3 hour country side your on here! You will see me arriving on my sidecar nicknamed "the beast" and this is when the fun begins! I will give you a helmet, gloves and a jacket to look the part. From here on we will cruise along the canals and swerve through the alleyways whilst seeing the highlights of Amsterdam. You will be driven at a safe speed and we will stop several times along the way. The sidecar has space for two passengers: one person sits in the sidecar and one person sits behind the driver. You can switch seats during the tour. The 1 hour tour includes the following highlights: 1. Windmill next to the Brewery t`IJ 2. Museum square 3. Central train station 4. NEMO Science museum 5. I have seen others come and go but I am here the longest! I look forward to taking you on a beautiful photo session through romantic Amsterdam! Our meeting point is Torensluis in front of the statue of Multatuli. You can choose between three walks from busy to QUIET: WALK 1: The busy walk with highlights as Dam square with the Royal Palace, Begijnhof, draw bridge Staalmeestersbrug and the perfect canal view spot. I will also show you a secret covered passage in Amsterdam and if we still have time, visit a former Amsterdam city mansion from 1605. WALK 2: A quieter walk along the famous canals, the Grachtengordel, including Jordaan district and the visit of a ‘hofje’. WALK 3: For a touristic photoshoot including drawbridges WITHOUT TOURISTS, I'll show you the hidden spots! If there are any special requests about the shoot, I am open to it. :) If you are more into an artistic photoshoot, please let me know in advance to plan it. Culture and landscape united At a leisurely pace, away from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, you will make a cycling tour of about 12 kilometers (7 miles) through the Zaan region. It is an open and flat landscape, shaped by water and wind and therefore also for a less experienced cyclist easy to do. Along the way you will make a stop at a windmill from 1719. Here you go back in time, to the Zaan region of the 17th century. The time when nearly 1,200 windmills were turning here. Holland has always been famous for producing cheese. The dutch have been the largest exporter of this flavorful product for on bread or with drinks since this time. At the Caterina Hoeve at Zaanse Schans, you'll see how cheese is made and it's time to taste it! Maybe you have already seen people wearing clogs along the way, at the Zaanse Schans you will visit a clog factory and see not only how these are made but you can experience for yourself what it is like to walk on clogs. Before you get back on your bike, you still have time to look around the Zaanse Schans yourself. Come and be amazed!
