(Cottage) Our stay was excellent. It's right in Little Havana and there's so much art, culture and scenery in the neighborhoods alone, visiting calle ocho is a must.!The location is great because it's only about a 15 minute drive from the beach (South Beach.) We were here for the Ultra festival and the ride to that venue was only 10 minutes. The place is convenient because it's close to a supermarket, CVS, plenty of restaurants and (our favorite part) a liquor store was literally about a minute walk away. The interior is nice and cozy, beds were comfy, TV, WIFI and even Netflix on the TV was available. Kitchen includes stove, oven and toaster.
Some notes about our stay (nothing that big to impact our trip but a few things to keep in mind):
-Twice during the visit the water was shut off without prior notice. Thankfully we were lucky because the times when the water was shut off, we were leaving the home, and it was back on by the time we got home.
-There was alot of construction going in the area, including in the home next to us. Nothing terribly bad but audible at times, but often the workers are frequently walking around the property, nice guys though.
-You're going to want to stop by a CVS or market to buy toiletries, toothpaste, handsoap, there were a few rolls of toilet paper but for 6 days and 4 people we needed to buy more.
-There's often people on the property which at times was a little unsettling. One night we got home around 12 am and there was a lady on the phone drinking on the patio right in front of our door. We weren't positive the patio and chairs were exclusive to us despite the fact that it was right by our door, so we let her be. Other times there was just people in the driveway, possibly neighbors but they would often leave the property when we showed up?..
Nonetheless, still a great stay, would definitely stay here again. Anna was quick to respond to questions and even let us stay past our check out time so we could wait until our flight at night.
