Airy, spacious living area and deck. Cascading glass doors open to the deck, letting in the breeze and sunshine. The bedroom contains two VERY NARROW (75cm wide) beds, (made by Nelson Beds), that can also be configured as a single queen-size bed. Please note, this listing and the other Cloud's Rest listing are the same room, just configured differently. Only the bed(s) are different.

You will be free to use your room, ensuite shower and toilet, living room, deck and extra downstairs toilet. (I have my own bedroom and bathroom at the other end of the house, so the bathroom is for your exclusive use during your stay.) There is an electric jug if you want to make yourself some tea, instant coffee, Milo, etc., and feel free to use the milk in the fridge or wine glasses in the evening!
There is so much to do in the Nelson area, and you could spend several days doing day trips in and around Nelson, while based here.
Day hikes: Abel Tasman, St Arnaud, Mt Arthur, Pelorus, Cable Bay, and Nelson itself.
Mt biking: Easy to advanced mt biking right here in Nelson, and a day trip to Kaiteriteri combined with other activities on the way to/from there is another option. The Great Taste trail is good for more leisurely cyclists, and provides many opportunities for stops at cafes and wineries, and taking the bicycle ferry to Mapua.
Absolutely no smoking anywhere in or around the property.
Open window and turn on exhaust fan when showering.
I enjoy helping active guests plan their mountain bike rides, day hikes and tramps. I've ridden and tramped many of the places you will likely want to visit, so you will have access to firsthand knowledge! If my schedule allows, I might even be able to take you on a guided mountain bike ride.
