W2 is a popular residential postcode, covering several areas including Notting Hill, Hyde Park and Paddington. It is rich in history and home to people from all over the globe. The area has a great culture, with a wide range of international cuisines represented in the local restaurants and markets stocking fruit and vegetables from afar.

Everything the City of London offers is a walk away, although excellent transport links offer a less strenuous mode of getting around. For a large selection of shops on your doorstep, Whiteleys in Bayswater is the destination of choice for most locals. W2 residents are also lucky to have the large Hyde Park close by, and walking round the Regent’s Canal can be a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

Robin and his management company provided a great service for me as an Airbnb guest - from the smooth check-in process all the way to being prompt and tentative to enquiries I had before and during the stay. I would recommend his company/ service. However, the property was not owned by Robin and the owner had very little understanding and respect for how Airbnb works. Robin was only an agent and had to defer all decisions to the owner, where we ended up having a very negative experience. Having accepted my request to rent the whole flat for 3 weeks, he then asked to allow viewing for the flat as he is 'planning on renting out the property' shortly (outside of Airbnb). When I reminded the owner that his property is promoted as 'entire flat' and therefore I do not wish to have to open the door to strangers during the stay, he simply threatened to cancel the reservation 3 days before the check-in date. Considering the fact that the reservation was made and accepted a month in advance, it was not a great/ acceptable host behaviour. In the end, with Robin's help we negotiated terms that would work for the both parties. It was during my last week of pregnancy hence the added stress caused me much distress, which was not ideal and the owner was aware of this. From now on I will be very cautious in renting a place where I cannot speak directly to the host. Knowing the host and being at least partly greeted by the host is the soul of Airbnb and why I use Airbnb as to a serviced apartment.

We had a wonderful stay! My husband and I were in London on business and this flat was a wonderful respite in the heart of London. The street is very quite. The kitchen was well stocked with basic necessities. We loved the spacious layout of the apartment. We had a small mishap with internet but Robin and his team were more than responsive even going to the trouble of dropping by an additional receiver. They were wonderfully attentive!

This property met all our needs in terms of size, cleanliness and location. We know the area well and so the location is a definite draw. If your inclined to walk around London this is a pretty great location. You are less than 5 mins to Hyde park, 10 to marble arch edgware road and the mouth of Oxford street 30 mins to bond street and 40 mins to Leicester square. If you don't want to walk then you have the central line just outside which gives you access to Londons vast network of underground trains. The property was much larger than we anticipated and gave us ample room for our little one to crawl around. The property is quite , clean, well stocked (for your immediate needs) and felt like we where staying at a friends house. Robin arranged for a colleague to meet us with keys and the flat was cleaned just before we arrived. Oliver/Robin even arranged for a bassinet which I was happily surprised about given this was definitely not expected. Extra points for all the effort that they put in to make us feel comfortable and the speed they responded to our needs. I would definitely stay in another one of Robin et al properties as both the price, quality and service surpassed expectation from your typical air bnb property and bordered a half way to a serviced apartment. This is air bnb through an agent which removed the hassle of dealing with an owner which was great. Thanks guys we had a great time and look forward to our next London trip.

Robin was a great host - he made sure we understood all of the features of the flat personally. The flat itself is in a great neighbourhood being very close to great dining, train stations are minutes walk away as. The flat is newly renovated as per the photos on AirBnB. The bed is very comfortable and spacious. The reception area is huge and has quality sofa and TV as well as a great table and chairs where you can choose to sit. This is a real gem of a flat in a great location.
