Dowonjeong Healing House, located in Bukchon Hanok Village, provides its guests with first-hand experience of a traditional Korean house and rejuvenates their bodies and minds with its warm bed, featuring natural stone with healing properties. Guests of Dowonjeong can also visit historical sites and hold a variety of gatherings at the guesthouse, including family and social gatherings and workshops. Breakfast consisting of fruit, salad, rice porridge (mixed brown rice) or bread, and traditional tea is served. A range of hands-on experience programs are provided as well, such as a “healing experience,” traditional Korean games (free of charge), and hanbok-wearing (paid) experience. The “healing experience,” featuring a warm bath using natural stones with healing properties, is available even to those not staying at the guesthouse.

Bukchon Hanok Village is a high class traditional residence for noblemen from Chosun dynasty which have shared Korean history together, located between Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine.
Because Bukchon Dowonjung Healing House is near from Gyeongbokgung Palace and National Museum of Contemporary Art it enables to enjoy traditional culture by walk through, which also has Hanok Cafe, Gallery and Gamgodang road for two Chosun royal queens at vicinity to let people enjoy the traditional music performance and street art.
The guesthouse is a 10-minute walk from Anguk Station (Subway Line 3, Exit 1). Incheon International Airport: Take the airport limousine bus (No. 6011) at gate 5B or 12A and get off at Anguk Station. Gimpo International Airport: Take the airport railroad (AREX Line) -> Get off at Seoul Station and transfer to Subway Line 1 -> Transfer to Subway Line 3 at Jongno 3-ga Station and get off at Anguk Station.
Parking is available nearby at the parking lot of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, seoul. (KRW 2,000 per hour).
