This is a prime location in the east end of Montreal, close to the metro, restaurants, grocery stores, banks, etc!
Our home consists of students from all around the world, mostly attending McGill, and are very friendly and welcoming!
This room has the most windows in the home, meaning you get lots of sunlight! It comes with a double sized bed, a study desk, 2 drawers, and a closet. I'm sure you'll find the layout of the room very warm and welcoming!
Accès des voyageurs
Guests have access to the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The other rooms belong to students living there at the moment. You are free to spend time in the living room and kitchen as long as you like, as long as nobody is being disrupted.
Overall, the area is great and we try to keep our home to the highest standard! Only things to beware of is Montreal's harsh winters and brutally hot summers!
We will ask our guests to keep to a reasonable noise level, just so everybody can still live comfortably while you are here. As long as the room is in the same condition as it was before you came, and we all clean up after ourselves, there wont be any issues!
No shoes in the house! We keep the floors very clean so no need to wear shoes into the house please!
PLEASE remember that this is a shared space! Do not come here and expect the whole place to belong to you. Be respectful of the others who live here, as they will respect your private space as well! Most people staying with AirBnB are well aware of this.
I am out of town the majority of the time, but I am very committed to provide the experience for my guests so you can rest assure that I will be on my phone/laptop to make sure you are well informed about all your needs! Once you arrive, the other students here are very friendly and can also provide you with information to the best of their knowledge!
I am a 23 year old student at McGill University. After several experiences with AirBnB, i realized that not only is this the new way to travel, but it is also an excellent opportunity to network with different people from all over the world! I love travelling, and the prospect of meeting new people from around the world makes AirBnB an awesome experience for myself and my roommates.
One of my best trips so far was a roadtrip across the United States. I have made this trip twice and it's amazing to see how peoples' lives vary across the country. We met many travellers along the way through AirBnB, which really inspired me to set up something similar in my own home.
Most recently, I travelled to the United Kingdom as an exchange student and during the weekends, I backpacked around Europe. My experience here was completely different from my previous travels in the United States and in Asia. It really provided me a different view of the world, not simply the North American view, and this has allowed me to communicate better with people who don't speak fluent English. Most importantly, there is an instant bond/connection that is made when I meet someone who is either from a city I have travelled to, or has been there as well!
I hope to hear about where you are from, and some of the places you have visited, to help give myself a better idea of where I want to travel to next!
