This a great brand new studio with industrial design in a wonderful location minutes walk from downtown Boston, MIT, and lovely Cambridge. 5 min walk to the Charles River and Green/Orange T subway stops. The apartment has great views of Downtown Boston and the Charles River
The apartment is a groovy loft-style studio in East Cambridge carved from an old hot-dog factory opened in late 2014. The studio has exposed ceilings, track lighting for the kitchen and a sliding barn-door for the bathroom. I also have in-unit washer and dryer and dishwasher as well as high-speed internet. The building is LEED certified so you can feel good about minimal impact on the environment. The studio is outfitted with a loveseat, wall unit, and a full size bed. I don't have a TV but there is a large TV in the study area/lounge on the first floor with cable.

Important things to note:
1) There is limited street parking in the immediate vicinity and it's either metered parking during the day or permit parking. Cambridge is very strict and tow aggressively. I suggest not coming with a car if possible. Cambridge galleria mall charges $25 per day and is a five minute walk. You can walk right into Boston from here and you're next to two subway lines
2) The apartment is in an urban setting and thus somewhat compact for people accustomed to the suburbs
5 minute walk to Lechmere T station (Green Line)
6 minute walk to Community College T station (Orange line)
10 minute walk across bridge to Boston
10 minute walk / 8 minute drive to beginning of MIT
11 minute drive to Harvard
You are welcomed to condiments and spices but please leave owners food in place
Please leave apartment as you found it (don't worry about bedding)
Please do not interact with building management
This is not a hotel, it is my part-time home so please treat it with respect thanks
If you lock yourself out there is a $75 fee (this is imposed by the building management, not by myself)
I believe in enriching life through meeting different types of people and seeing different parts of the world. I've lived in Latin America, California, New York, Washington DC, and now Cambridge. I hope to make the Airbnb community better with another great play to stay.
