There is a lockbox with the keys for which I supply the access code prior to arrival. This way folks can arrive at their leisure and not feel they need to meet me at an agreed upon time should plans spontaneously change. I live about 5 minutes away and will stop in to do a quick orientation and answer any questions guests might have on the accommodation or things to see and do in the local area.
The property sits on an embankment about 30 feet above the high tide line. While there is not direct access to the beach from the property there are 3 nearby access points one of which has a ramp making for easier access for families with younger children or persons with mobility issues.
Pets are not allowed. Smoking is to take place outside only with cigarette butts properly disposed of. Please be respectful of neighbors and keep outside noise down after 11 pm. Visitors to be on their way by midnight.
Si vous annulez jusqu'à 7 jours avant le voyage, vous recevez un remboursement à hauteur de 50 %. En cas d'annulation au cours des 7 jours précédant le voyage, la réservation est non remboursable.
I have lived in Nova Scotia for nearly 30 years and enjoy exploring the province's natural attractions, restaurants, and beverage establishments (wineries, micro-breweries, and distilleries). I am an avid canoeist and am always on the look-out for new rivers to paddle. Each year I try to do at least one major trip and so far I have been fortunate enough to have visited more than 15 countries and all of Canada's provinces and territories. I moved to the Annapolis Valley (about 7 minutes from my Kingsport vacation rental) five years ago and find that there is always something going on whether it be food / agriculture related or a paddle, hike, or hike around the local area. I enjoy hosting guests and am always happy to make recommendations on things to see and do during their stay.
