This is a clean and modern 400sqft one bed studio apartment with access to a communal roof terrace. The apartment has floor to ceiling glass windows giving stunning views of The Shard and City. The apartment is in a new build block, recently completed and is therefore in immaculate condition.
This apartment is ideal for a business traveller as close to the City, just a 15 minute walk, or short taxi ride.
Tourists would find our apartment well situated as many attractions are within walking distance.
London Eye, Tate Modern, Southbank, Globe Theatre, Borough Market all under 10 mins walk.
Southwark Tube is across the road from the front entrance of the building, just 2 minutes walk away. This is Zone 1 and on the Jubilee Line. Making it very easy to get to many popular destinations:
Westminster 2 stops, Green Park (Buckingham Palace) 3 stops, Bond Street 4 stops.
There are many local restaurants less than 5 minutes walk away including Gordon Ramsay's Union Street a Cafe, Nandos, Byron Burgers, Baltic and Laughing Gravy. Within 10 minutes walk there are many more such as Leon, Carluccio's, Gail's and Waterloo Bar and kitchen. In addition there are plenty of coffee shops as well as a good selection of supermarkets (Sainsburys and Pret a Manger are both in next block and Tesco's and Co-op very close by).
The apartment is a good sized studio and as you can see from the floor plan it is well set out so feels more like a one bed apartment.
The bedroom has a king size double bed, desk and built-in wardrobe.
The en-suite bathroom has bath with shower, heated towel rail and mirrored cabinet.
The kitchen is not designed for extravagant cooking, but is well equipped with the basics such as cutlery, crockery, glasses, utensils. It comes with induction hob, electric oven, kettle, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge with small freezer compartment and dishwasher.

Covered balcony with table and 6 chairs. Please note this is the only dining table in the apartment.
Utility cupboard with washing machine (washer / dryer).

The building has a porter / concierge who works 7am - 7pm daily.
The building also has a wonderful communal roof garden on the 6th floor which you have access to. This is open 24hrs.
The building has both stairs and elevators.

Southwark is a quiet up and coming area but close to everything in London. It has a relaxed feel, but as you walk a few minutes toward the Southbank you will soon feel the buzz of London with the Thames, art galleries, shops and theatres. The area attracts both business travellers and tourists alike. We love it and having lived in other parts of London we think this is the best place to explore the city by foot or by taking short tube tides.
The tube station - Southwark - is in zone 1 and on the Jubilee line. The tube is less than 2 minutes walk away.
The bus stop out side building has busses that go into the City, Farringdon and Kings Cross.
Waterloo main line train station - trains to Surrey, Hampshire and Southwest - is 7 minutes walk away.
Blackfriars train station is 5 minutes away - trains to Gatwick, Sussex and Hertfordshire.
Stratford International train station is 15 away on the Jubilee line and is a Eurostar stop for trains to Paris and the continent.
We want you to enjoy your stay but we just have a few rules.
No extra guests to stay over.
No guests are to sleep on the sofa.
No parties, events or entertaining - including on the roof terrace.

I have lived in a few areas in London and the South East, but Southwark is my favourite place. I am an author, love eating out, enjoy travelling and visiting art galleries. I look forward to welcoming you to my apartment.
