Used 100 years ago as housing for working class families, it offers a beautiful backyard courtyard and verandah for sitting to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing! It has a bright, newly renovated kitchen, wood floors, is spacious, cozy, near the metro with great local French, Italian, Thai, Indian restaurants and easy access to music festivals and historic sites.

I or my partner Doug will be available next door throughout your stay.
This is a great area of the Gay Village, historic churches, 19th century buildings, tiny ruelles with trees and flowers, outdoor restaurants all along St Catherine's which is blocked off all summer. A short bike ride to Old Montreal or Downtown along the safe bicycles paths of de Maisonneuve or Berri.
Wash dishes, smoking is only allowed on the verandah, use ashtray. No parties!

I renovated this charming one-bedroom ground floor apartment in my Victorian brick house in the heat of Montreal's Gay Village for my mother to live in, but she comes to Montreal less often now, so she suggested I airbnb it. I am a traveler and musician and I like the idea of providing a cozy, elegant nest for my fellow travelers. Enjoy the garden courtyard and Montreal's rich musical and gastronomic scene.
