Full kitchen and has features such as lockup garage, full DSTV, WIFI (incl 1GB for 7 nights and 500mb for 3 nights then pay as you go) kettle braai, sparkling pool and downstairs braai area. On the beachfront with 2 secluded beaches and a tidal pool. BONUS Privately owned and part of the First Resorts Costa Smeralda resort and all their resort facilities incl pool, children's play area, Contact P6Cos or via on number provided.

All area access and on the 4th floor. No lift so please be aware if you have walking difficulties this may not quite be the space for you.

All interaction is welcome both with the reception downstairs who are very helpful and with ourselves on our cell phone via call or or on email at The housekeeper is also available to assist whenever required.

Margate has a wonderful beachfront area and filled with Blueflag white beaches. The swimming beach is a few minutes walk but in front of the unit we have 2 secluded beaches with a tidal pool. The Central shopping area is not far from us and walking distance. So once you have parked the car in the garage, leave it there and walk! The list of available places and our recommendations can be found on line or in the unit and these include deliveries.

Park the car in the garage that comes with the unit and walk everywhere as Margate is quite small and central. However, the attractions such as Oribi Gorge is a drive and so is the pretty town of Port Edward. The local malls are a nearby drive.

Margate Central is a walking distance and all clubs, pubs and restaurants are within about a 10 minute walk along the beachfront. We are building a list of good places to eat and drink and the reception staff are a host of information where the attractions are concerned.

The beachfront is in front of the resort and two secluded beaches and a tidal pool is a great place to swim. The pier for fishing is nearby and one can either enjoy the view from the benches along the pier or simply enjoy the walk. The resort has a sparkling pool always available and a herb garden should you need herbs.

The Apartment has great folding back doors which should be opened in the morning and closed at night to fully enjoy the apartment. However, please note that should you leave the apartment, you need to close them.

Also the balcony is dangerously low for children and we are on the 4th floor. Our advice is to be careful of small children and the balcony and for young people not to sit on the wall. One fall backwards will be fatal.

There is a single garage downstairs for your use if you have a hired car and also good for beach umbrellas, surf boards etc.

Please treat the furniture with respect and we offer 1GB of data for a week and 500mb for a weekend of data. You are welcome to add data through the pay as you go portal we have provided. No smoking inside the unit please. You may smoke on the balcony and please treat the unit the way you would have liked to have found it on your arrival. We have an online survey which we appreciate your completing so that we can improve our service and our apartment for your next visit.

The housekeeper is available at all times at a minimum fee of R150 and will not hand over the keys until the inventory is complete.

We are a couple who renovated and rebuilt an old flat into a beautiful beach house with a view! We love combo's and nostalgia but not old places to live. Our apartment has been furnished with love and gorgeous furniture, color coded to match the sea and with our fold back aluminum doors, the view is breathtaking. We don't own a multitude of places and with this being our only home we own, we take care of it and hope you will too
