À propos de ce logement
A cosy rural Oxfordshire retreat. With an open fire, flag stone floors and and toasty AGA. Set in a village with the benefit of being located within a short distance of local shops and amenities as well as being very close to Bicester shopping village and Oxford.
The down stairs comprised of a front sitting room with open fire, exposed brick work and cosy furnishings. Through to the back is a open plan L shaped kitchen and lounge. With flag stone floors and a fully equipped country kitchen complete with AGA, it's perfect for a cook up. There is also a down stairs bathroom and utility space. The two areas downstairs have two separate single sleeping options, a day bed and a fold out snuggler chair. Up stairs there are three double bedrooms the largest of the three with an ensuite. The cottage has been renovated and designed to highlight the original stone walls and beams. A great place to relax and explore the local area from.

The Cottage is situated in a great location. It is set in the lovely village of Chesterton, a 15 minute walk to Bicester Village, famed for it fantastic shopping outlet.
The pretty village of Woodstock is near by with the beautiful Blenhaim place.
In the summer there is polo at the local Kirtlington polo club
Public transport is limited so a car is recommended but not essential. There are great train services direct from London to Bicester North or Bicester village station. There are plenty of taxi services in Bicester. It's about a 7 minute drive to either station from the cottage. It is possible to walk to Bicester village but it would take around 15 - 20 minutes. Once in Bicester there are plenty of busses in to Oxford and the surrounding areas.
Parking is offered at the front of the property. Please make sure you park half on the curb. I have two small children and have never been bothered by the parking, even though the road can be busy sometimes. I mention it as some people don't feel comfortable with this and the whole point is its as relaxing a stay as it can be.
Pets - I am afraid due to the cost of cleaning we don't allow pets, but if you know you have a well trained pooch that will stay of the furnishings then please get in touch.
Please be respectful of the fact the cottage is semi detached and the neighbours can hear loud noises.
No wild parties
Please empty all bins.
Blue bin - recycling
Green bin - general rubbish
Brown bin - food waste - if you do use the food bin it can be emptied in the compost in front of the first shed.
Please do not let children play unattended in the garden, there is a water trough, although shallow children should not be left alone. I would also ask that nothing is thrown in to this trough, no stones, wood or another items found in the garden.
There is a fee for cleaning so please be aware of this when booking.
