À propos de ce logement
Welcome to my home and studio! This is a whole side of a duplex about 10 blocks from the French Quarter. A cozy two bedroom with a full kitchen and a TV room. I live next door but use the front room as my studio. Cant wait to meet you!
This shotgun double was built in the 1890s and retains the charm of that architecture's style. The high ceilings and hard wood floors have such an old New Orleans feel. The back part of the house was an add-on in the last 20 years so if you like a more modern feel, that room is for you.
Come in by code in the back door and enter the more modern add-on back room. This leads to the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom has a claw foot tub and shower. The next room is a living room with a daybed for a couch and a tv with wii and Apple TV. This room leads to the next bedroom decorated with antiques. The front room is the space I use for my studio. You're welcome in that room but I just want to make sure I have access to that room during your stay. Thus the shared space!
If you're a group of two then I may come stay on this side unless you'd rather the space to yourself. If you're a larger group then I'll only use the studio. Please ask if you have any questions!

I can be around or not around--whatever you prefer. I have a lot of experience as a couchsurfing host so I enjoy meeting travelers. I also understand some people prefer to have their own time on vacation so that's fine too. I live next door so I'll be close by if you need anything.
Just be respectful of the neighbors and treat my home like you would a friend's house. Have fun!

Hey! After a few years keeping busy with photography, guiding and ski patrol in Tahoe with New Orleans as home base, I finally settled on the next adventure--fixing up a 19th century home. I've always enjoyed hosting couchsurfers and am excited to welcome Airbnbers to Treme!
My favorite part of traveling is getting to know people their stories. Through Airbnb I enjoy meeting folks and helping travelers experience New Orleans more authentically! I've couchsurfed and traveled in Australia, Costa Rica, Ireland, England, France, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Belgium, China, Mongolia, and all over the U.S. (most recently, Alaska).
I love New Orleans and enjoy the fact that I can walk to a variety of live music and delicious cuisine. But I miss the mountains and beaches of California where I've worked as an outdoor guide for five years. I have my Wilderness EMT certification which is helpful for winters ski patrolling in North Lake Tahoe.
I keep my place clean, am respectful, straight-forward but open-minded... Iove food, stories, people, and consider experiences as the most important investments toward a fulfilling life. Hope to meet you!
