Favourite things to do in the Whangaparaoa area:
- anything in the water; kayak, paddle board, swim, fish, windsurf
- relax on a beach (Manly, Army Bay or Te Haruhi) with a book and glass of wine / beer
- BBQ in the park with friends (Shakespear Park)
- walk the local reserves (in front of Pacific Parade looking north or in front of Clansman Terrace looking over Okoromai Bay)
