'Glocsen' is a large and airy flat, set over 3 floors in a quirky Grade II listed building. It is a 2 minute walk from Caernarfon Castle, 5 minutes from the Welsh Highland Railway Station and just off the Town Square. Homely, vintage, clean townhouse.
'Glocsen' is Welsh for clog - the building used to be 'The Holland Arms' pub, and at another time it was the town's Shoe Shop. It is a Grade II listed building. The property is a first floor flat, with an exterior staircase up to the front door. The flat itself is set over 3 floors. It is in a great location for seeing Caernarfon - it is just across the town square from Caernarfon Castle itself, right in the centre of the town. You can even see a glimpse of the Menai Straits from the top floor window! Literally a 2 minute walk to the Castle, 2 minute walk to the sea front & the Menai Straits, and a 5 minute walk to the Welsh Highland Railway. Lots of cafes, restaurants & bars to explore. Buses depart from the next street to Snowdon & all local destinations. The flat is bright, homely & clean. It has 2x double bedrooms, both with double beds. Lots of space to relax in and comfy leather sofas. Bath towels are provided and the beds are all freshly made up ready for your arrival. We welcome families, but the stairs are not well suited to toddlers, pushchairs or wheelchairs! We can provide a travel cot for little ones. We are happy for cyclists to keep their bikes in the flat while they stay. We don't mind triathletes with all their kit! We welcome everyone to our comfortable townhouse flat, in an ideal central location!
Accès des voyageurs
The entire flat is for the sole use of the guests - 2x double bedrooms, bathroom with electric shower and bath, separate toilet with wash basin, sitting room, dining room / lounge, kitchen with cooker, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge & washing machine. Plus a selection of toys for little visitors!
Échanges avec les voyageurs
We will meet guests, show them around, give them a key & leave them in peace to enjoy their stay!
It is a townhouse in the centre of the town, so expect the usual noise of town life (as well as seagulls)! There is no specific parking at the property, but there is a 'loading bay' lay by beside the flat which is ideal for unloading and loading up your car when you arrive & depart.
No outside shoes in the house, please pack your slippers!
