* North Buckhead is the best residential area in Atlanta.
* 10 minutes to Midtown, Downtown, Emory, Central Perimeter, Galleria * Interstate 85 is less a mile and GA 400 is about two miles.
* Less than 2 miles to higher end shopping at Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza.
* Fine dining restaurants like Haven, Nicko Bistro, and New York Prime are under 5 minutes.
* Restaurants are not chain based and the owner is on site to serve you or address any issues.
* Casual dining at Mellow Mushroom Pizza or the sports bar, Hudson Grill, less than 5 minutes.
* There are also bars and lounges for late night activity, if so desired.
* Older established safe residential community.
* New houses sell for a million plus.
* Private Swim/tennis less than 5 minute walk.
*Walking/Jogging trails within 1/2 mile.
*Every major submarket less than 15 minute drive.
*Public Transit, Marta Train, less than 2 miles for the airport,sporting events and conferences.
In reviewing the listings on Airbnb in the North Buckhead/Brookhaven, South Buckhead/Garden Hills submarkets the options for a single family home is almost nonexistent. There is a 2 bedroom carriage house/garage apartment that is about 2.5 miles from my house. This is a tiny house behind the larger main house. There were several options for condos in Buckhead, but if you are going to stay in a multi-story building and deal with the headaches of parking, congestion, noise, etc, one may be better off staying in a hotel with more on-site amenities.
The Lenox and Brookhaven MARTA stations are less than 2 miles for transportation to sporting events, conferences, or different areas of the city.
No late night parties, no smoking in the house, and please treat it like your own home.
