Description

This property is walking distance to Main Street in Longmont and has recently been completely updated. 20 Minutes from Boulder and a few blocks off Sunset golf course. Everything you need for a cozy stay.

The space is ideally set up for business travelers and adults. The interior spaces have been designed to be efficient if you are needing a place to land but also have the comforts of a home away from home. Just pick up any groceries and everything else is pretty covered. We also have a generous back deck and yard which are private.

Access to wi-fi, apple TV and HD Antenna for local networks. The entire house and yard are available for your enjoyment.

Old Town Longmont is a coveted area in Longmont. Known for cute older homes that boasts of a community that appreciates it's history and "small town" warmth, where you can enjoy a pedestrian lifestyle. There is a public golf course with a swimming pool a few blocks away with views of the front range. Easy access to St. Vrain walking/biking trail. Coffee shops, restaurants, brew pubs, public parks and shopping are all within walking distance. Boulder is about a 15 minute drive away.

Here are a few items to note about our house~

1. Thermostat is in the hall. The front opens and has instructions for operation.
2. We have a wood burning fireplace that you are welcome to use. To start a fire, open the glass panel doors and open the flue. There is a chain in the center of the opening that catches and hangs down about 5 inches when closed. To release and open the flue pull down and slightly toward you until the chain slides up when released. (you might have to play with it a bit) To summarize, chain hanging down means the flue is closed, chain up means the flue is open. Newspaper, kindling, fat wood, matches and logs are nearby. More wood is just outside the mudroom/laundry room door.
3. HD Antenna TV, Apple TV and Wi-Fi are available and a manual at the house describes use in greater detail. The modem is next to the desk in the living room.
4. Also in the desk is an expandable file folder with appliance information.
5. There is insta hot and filtered water next to the sink. Please be careful as the water comes out boiling hot. Great for making a cup of tea or coffee without having to wait for a tea kettle. We have a French Press coffee maker. We use 1 heaping tablespoon of coffee per cup in the bottom of the press, up to 4 cups capacity. Add hot water and the lid, wait 4 minutes to allow steeping before plunging, and serve. We also now have a coffee maker.
6. In the bathroom, there should be plenty of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion. Towels are on the lower vanity shelves. In the cupboard you will find additional toilet paper, blow dryer, and first aide kit. You can hang towels behind the door and on the knobs of the cupboard. Please place used towels/bath linens in the shower or on the floor.
7. There are three power strips if you need to plug devices in. One is in the desk and the other two are under the beds in each bedroom.
8. If you blow a fuse, the breaker box is outside the back door, on the back wall to the mudroom/laundry room.
9. Entering and exiting the house through the front door when there is ice on the driveway is advised. During the winter months, we have a snow removal service that will clear the walks and driveway. It is hard to predict exactly when they will come, however. Parking on the street during snow is a good idea both for removal and making sure you can get out easily.
10. Trash and recycling pick up is on Tuesday morning. If you are there during this time, please put trash and recycling curbside Monday night.
11. To open the slider in bedroom number 2, push the door closed while releasing the lock.
12. During the summer months the yard has an automatic sprinkler system and lawn is mowed regularly by a service. Mowing may happen during your stay.
13. We have a natural gas barbecue on the back deck that you are welcome to use.
14. As of mid August 2016, we have Nextlight fiber optic, super fast, internet service. This will allow you to have the fastest available internet connection and will work well with our Apple TV, should you wish to stream video via your personal devices.
15. For the summer months, we have air conditioning units in each of the bedrooms.
16. The living room sofa has a pull out air mattress bed. Instructions for inflating/deflating the air mattress are in the house manual. Bedding is on the bed and blankets and pillows are in the ottoman and hall closet. If you use the bed, please strip the sheets and blanket before folding it in for the last time. Thanks!

This home was in a perfect location and was a cozy, complete package. Bronwyn and her husband were close by and able to make checking in/out a very easy experience. This bnb has everything you need to have a comfortable stay.

Bronwyn was a great host. Had a little trouble with the lock box, but that was IT! This is a two bedroom home with a couch-bed for a 3rd BR, and you needed to inflate the bed mattress to make it a bed...was too much hassle, so one of the team ended up just leaping on the couch. If it's going to be a couch-bed, get a couch with a memory foam bed that doesn't require a pump. Other than that, the location was great. House was clean. Beds were comfy.

We had a great time staying at Bronwyn's house. She was a terrific host and the house was very clean, comfortable and cozy. All the amenities are very updated, beds are pretty comfortable and kitchen has everything we needed.

The house was exactly as advertised. Everything was clean, we needed nothing that wasn't provided. Loved the organic bath products and coffee and creamer that was provided. We have two young children, the pull out couch was perfect for movies in the afternoons. Great place!
