"There are many places I like, but I like New Orleans better"
Pretty much sums me up.
I am a New Orleans native, stayed here through Katrina and went to Tulane for college, and I can't ever imagine living anywhere else. I love my city and am more than happy to provide any knowledge or suggestions on local hot spots to hit while visiting my beautiful city.
My studio is nestled on the bottom floor of my two story house and I currently occupy the upstairs so I will be available for anything you may need. Located in the beautiful neighborhood of Carrolton, it's far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD and French Quarter, but one block from the Carrolton/St Charles Street car line (20 minute ride on the streetcar to downtown or Napoleon Avenue where all the uptown Mardi Gras parades start).
Oak street is a 4 block walk from the apartment where there are a lot of local restaurants and bars including the famous Maple Leaf bar and Jacques-Imo's Creole Restaurant. Just a few more blocks down is the famous diner Camellia Grill and the streetcar can take you directly Downtown/French Quarter and the shopping on Magazine street.
