We're available at any time to offer assistance, whether that be with any problems or emergencies, or for advice or directions for the surrounding area, attractions, walks, eating out recommendations...
Our village cafe, Globe Kitchen & G-Kal Bakery (which we operate!) will be open from Spring 2016 for bakery, coffee, drinks and a daily menu, along with special evening events. we'd be delighted to see you there!
We live close by and can usually help within a few minutes, or if unavailable, give guidance by phone.

Autres remarques

The village is quiet, with few residents, but the road can occasionally be busy with farm traffic, but only for very short periods. There is a goat farm also, but there is little noise except from the vacuum pump at milking time. The general shop stocks most items, but for a good choice of items we'd recommend stocking up in one of the larger towns. They do have a decent range of beer, some wine and spirits, dry goods, cheese and salami/lukanka, and some fresh salad stuff.

The house was exactly what we hoped for: spacious, off-the-beaten-path, and a great value. We spent almost a week here as a family of three. Our 2-year-old son loves travelling with us and he felt very comfortable at his new "home" in the village. There were pears, figs, and grapes in the garden, as well as a friendly neighborhood cat, so our son had plenty to keep him entertained. Every day we ventured into the region to see the sights: some caves, Veliko Tarnivo, the open air museum of old Bulgarian buildings, and my favorite, Buzludzha. Though it required a bit of driving, we were able to see a lot during our stay. The hosts were great! Communication was super easy as they live up the street and run a nearby cafe. Fresh bread and cakes were waiting for us upon arrival. They had plenty of tips for things to do and it was interesting to hear about their experiences in the region as communication with locals was difficult without Bulgarian language skills. And thanks to their well-equipped kitchen and welcome package (wine, eggs, bread, milk, etc.), we were able to feel right at home right from the start. Super!

We had an awesome stay at Rob's place. His house is a real gem and we felt comfortable from the moment we checked in. We spent most of our time in the yard and took full advantage of the nice barbecue area. Robert is an excellent host! He went above and beyond for us, even provided a baby crib upon short request. His breads and cakes are too die for. I would highly recommend Rob's place to anyone interested in quite family oriented vacation experience!

If you need a refreshing break from your everyday busy life (and everybody needs that) Villa Sandra is definitely the place to choose for your long weekend or vacation! First of all, Rob, thank you for being such a great host and for the warm welcome into your lovely house - the freshly baked bread and cake were just delicious, we could hardly wait until supper to indulge! Rob made sure in advance that we'll have everything we need...and more! The house is the definition of coziness and fully equipped for making your stay as comfy as possible - from the basic bath accessories and super soft beds, through a pretty well stocked fridge (incl. home made rakia), to a kitchen, that even my mother would envy - think of any cooking utensil or spice, well, you've got it! And here comes my favourite part - the garden! Oh my, we were highly tempted to stay there all the time, especially given the great weather. Every evening we made a barbecue, had our dinner in the garden and played board games until the early hours, accompanied by the co host - a surprisingly well mannered and lovable black cat. We had little trips to the Krushuna waterfalls and Veliko Tarnovo - there are many more places to visit in the area, we were up for a chill weekend though and spent most of the time at the house... I believe that we've found a new home away from home and that surely won't be our last visit! No description is good enough however, you should just go and enjoy it yourself! :)

The most amazing house we've been! The house is really wonderful and so is Robert. He is unbelievably good host. He granted all our wishes and even baked us a bread! He has stocked the house with everything one could need. There was a pack of charcoals, a lot ot glasses, plates, appliances, butter, cheese, spices for cooking, several cooking pots, several pans and even a bottle of rakia. There is a dishwasher, laundry machine and so on. We were 9 people and the house suited us perfectly. I really cannot find the best words to describe the place and the host. We travel a lot and I can honestly say that we have not been in such a well cared place before. Go there! There are a lot of things to do around. Several waterfalls(Emen, Hotnitsa, Zarapovo), eco-paths, dams(Negovanka and Aleksandar Stamboliyski) and of course the city of Veliko Turnovo. But if you decide to just stay in the village and enjoy your holiday, the silence and the beauty of the place can only help you relax(as well as the bath tub). We literally couldn't face a single problem during our stay at Robert's house. I will definetely recommend it to all my friends and whoever I can. And we will visit again as soon as possible :)
