Bedroom is approx. 13' x 20' with matching white furniture. Mattress is under 2 years old. Black-out blinds on all 3 windows, as well as curtains. Iron & ironing board in the room. Wifi. Hair dryer provided. There is no extra bed including a blow up bed, so extra guests aren't encouraged. My dog is uncomfortable around children between the ages of 2 & 5, they make her nervous, & in my opinion a nervous dog is a dangerous dog. So I don't encourage this. Might be ok for 1 night only.
There is a south facing back yard with decking & a concrete area. Whitehall road is a busy road & there can be a reasonable amount of traffic that passes by. However most guests don't have a problem with this, as is reflected in the reviews. There is free street parking in the area, however depending on the time of day, or night, it can be a bit tricky to find a space that is on the same street.

I'm happy to make myself as available as possible to assist my guests with what ever they need.
Bus service to the centre is directly on my street. Cycle track entrance is across the road. Just a 25 minute walk to the centre.
I expect my guests to be considerate. This is my home after all. To be respectful, polite & of course trustworthy. There is NO SMOKING allowed. If you return to the house late please be respectfully quiet. NO PETS PLEASE.
I'm a fairly quiet person, enjoying reading books over watching TV. Going for long walks out in nature with my dog. I prepare & cook all my own food & am a bit of a health food freak & enjoy finding new recipes to make vegetables more interesting. I love all kinds of music esp. R&B. The 5 things I couldn't live without would be, my computer as it opens up my world to so many things. My car as it enables me to do all the things I need to do, help all the people I need to help, & work doing all the jobs I do. My dog, as she brings me so much joy. My daughter as she is such a fantastic person & has blessed my life so much. My books which provide hours of entertainment, & music which I just love to listen & dance to. I haven't done much travelling but I did live in California for 12 years in the 80's. My favourite places in the US would be, Malibu & it's lovely beach. Will Rogers State Park & it's lovely scenery. Corona del Mar & Palm Springs were lovely escapes too. At the moment I'm reading a book called the Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell which explains when ideas, trends, & social behaviours cross a threshold, tip & spread like wildfire. A favourite film that springs to mind is Cold Mountain with Nicole Kidman & Jude Law. I also thought Sweeney Todd was really good, even though I'm not mad about musicals. More recently I enjoyed Mad Max, Fury Road, I enjoy eating healthy, spicy food. I like to think I'm a considerate person & whenever I have guests I try to put myself in their situation & think what I would like. I'm pretty easy going. I guess if I were to have a life motto it would be 'Seize the Day'. It's worth noting that my dog is never home alone, she is always with me, hardly any exceptions. My home is approx. 1.9 miles from Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station. 2 miles from Bristol Bus & Coach Station. Approx 1/2 mile or less from the M32. There is a very good Café Des Amies 90 steps away from my front door, & a reasonable bus service with a stop approx. 150' up the road.
