À propos de ce logement
The apartment is conveniently located, with popular destinations, such as Akihabara, Asakusa, Ueno, and more all 10 minutes or less by direct train. Many shopping options within easy walking distance, can use 4 train lines and airport bus to Haneda.
I actually lived in this apartment for a couple years before getting a bigger place. The apartment is quite spacious (32m^2) and comfortable for a single person living in Tokyo and can easily accommodate more. The bathroom is quite spacious for such type of apartment in Japan, not the cramp, ALL-IN-ONE unit toilet/bathroom you find in most. Because the vanity area, bath and toilet are all separate and not cramped, this apartment can handle multiple guests better than most. A kitchen is also available for cooking, but I have only used it for heating takeouts and never cooked.

I try to do my best to pick up all my guests at the station and show them the neighborhood, but if work schedule prevents me from doing so, I will arrange a convenient self check-in option.
MOST Important for ME:
Please do not smoke! Important so I am saying this again!
Please no shoes inside the apartment. The floor has just been replaced.
Please turn off the A/C when not at home. Resources are precious, please be eco-friendly.
I have not child-proofed my apartment, so I let you be the judge whether you want to stay at my apartment with kids. Please count any kids who can walk as an additional guest. Also, you need to be responsible for any damage your kid may incur. On the flip-side, the harshest chemical I use for cleaning my place is baking soda for scrubbing and alcohol for disinfectant. So no harmful stuff used in my apartment to keep it clean.
I kept a cat in this apartment with me when I lived here, so small size pets, such as cats or some small dogs (no barking) are allowed, but please check with me first. I have supplies for cats, but nothing for dogs. Also, you need to be responsible for any damages the pet may incur.
Absolutely NO transferring of reservation to another guest without my consent. If I approved the reservation for you under agreed conditions, it only applies to you and no one else unless I say so.

Born in Taiwan, grew up in Texas and worked for most of my adult life in Tokyo.
Working as an engineer in the telecommunications industry, I have lived and worked in Tokyo for almost 15 years.
I can speak English and Mandarin Chinese on native level, with passable Japanese.
Cannot live without:
I am an avid cyclist and have used bicycle as my main mode of transportation for over 25 years. I have raced some before, but always prefer touring more. I also do some running and play a little basketball on the side.
My hobbies include anime, manga, video games, movies, computers and electronics.
Started off as a happy coincidence, now I always find places to live in Tokyo, where my daily commute ride is of reasonable distance to the office and goes through Akihabara. More notable areas my current commute routes can take me through are Nippori, Ueno, Tokyo, Asakusa and of course, Akihabara. Perfect mix of my work, cycling and hobbies.
I always consider incorporating cycling into every facets of my life whenever it is feasible to do so. If you need help, advice or general discussion on cycling in and around Tokyo, feel free to drop me a line.
