Drws Nesaf (meaning next door) is a whitewashed, stone built, one up one down cottage. It was built in the mid 19th century to accommodate farm servants, the larger farm house being adjacent. The interior is traditionally furnished with antique furniture and rugs and is heated by a wood-burning stove.
All linen is provided; bed linen, bath and hand towels, kitchen towel and tea-towel. There is also shower gel, soap, washing-up liquid, dishcloths and kitchen roll. An initial basket of wood will be provided on arrival, additional logs and kindling can be purchased at the local garage and hardware store.

On your arrival, I will be there to welcome you with a plate of home-made Welsh cakes and to hand over the keys. I live locally and can be easily contacted should the need arise.
Useful information with details of places of interest and local amenities is to be found in a folder which I have put together for the cottage.
The cottage is heated by a wood-burning stove. One basket of wood will be provided. Additional logs and kindling can be purchased from the local garage.
One well behaved dog is allowed. Guests are requested to bring their pet's bedding and to please not leave their dog unattended in the cottage. There is access to fields from the rear garden for dog walking if no sheep are on the farm. However, at times there are sheep in the fields, in which case I would ask you to keep your dog on a lead and of course to please clear up after after your pet.

A one time Design History lecturer I enjoy art, architecture and antiques and have a good knowledge of local flea markets, antique markets and auction houses.
Having grown up in this house and moved away as a teenager, I returned to South Wales a few years ago. I love the surrounding landscape and continue to explore it with my lurcher Nelson.
