An independent, personal space born out of our travel experiences, a need to replicate spaces we sought, while traveling. A B/r with attached toilet, a window overlooking a herb garden, a large hall with attached loo & kitchenette, opening to 'Lalbagh' - where it is common to interact with avian varieties all day. Where, an open fireplace doubles as a barbeque pit, a living room easily converting to a dancefloor, where anecdote are galore & hosts hunger to hear crazy travel stories!
A rooftop garden 200 sq.ft. apprx. with a fireplace, which can be merged completely with the large hall (has the Futon - making up for the 2nd set of sleeping arrangement) attached with a restroom & a kitchenette (good for 6-8 ppl). A large bedroom further inside with attached bathroom, including all indoor spaces fully airconditioned. Full & free WiFi connectivity, as well as landline for national & international calls. An office cum study of about 80 sq.ft. on the same floor can be used on prior request.

All I wish to put forth is the popular idiom 'When in Rome be like Romans' The apartment is an extension of our present living areas & is a floor above us and hence has a common access. The area allows a fantastic roof top view and private experience, yet allowing for a total close interaction with us.
Been a traveller for more than 3 decades & have been to all the extreme corners of our country, mostly saddled on my favourite RE 500 Classic bike. Greens, Water, Mountains, Snow, Beach, Wildlife, Local culinary fare - not neccessarily in that order, is pretty much my calling. Have always made an effort to stay in a homestay or a home like place all through as it allowed me to experience the cultural, culinary & visual aspect of the places that we visited - Finally with a sense of 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you' Lalbagh came into existence and besides hosting alongwith sharing our experiences, we would like to hear stories & experiences from around the world.
