I was in town for a conference and had to find a place on very short notice. I decided to bring my boyfriend along for the weekend. Brian's place was the perfect spot. It's a detached, single-unit apartment in a very quiet and centrally-located neighborhood. The apartment itself is off the street and very quiet.
The apartment isn't glamorous or brand new, but it's quaint, mellow, well-maintained and perfectly suitable for 2 people. In the morning, you can hear the birds chirping from the bedroom. There's even the faint sound of a rooster crowing, which was totally unexpected but a nice surprise. Brian has a great TV with Amazon Fire, which was an awesome way to relax at the end of the night.
Everything is a 5-10 minute Uber ride away, which averaged $5 per ride. I'd recommend Ubering rather than driving if you're going out at night (or day), because parking downtown sucks.
If you want incredible Italian food, go to Ristorante Illando in Little Italy.
Brian is very flexible, professional and easygoing. If you have any issues during your stay or any questions, just let him know and he'll take care of you!
