As little or as often as guests like, as long as I am home. I am a weaver. I'll be happy demonstrate and answer questions about my craft.
There is a small frig in room & a bike is available for guests.
Clean up after yourself, use common courtesy, no indoor smoking (patio smoking is fine), please refrain from giving food or treats to my pets without asking. Please remember I have 2 dogs, this is their home & they love guests!
Maggie is a life-long resident of New Mexico. She is also a world traveler and this is reflected by the treasures she has acquired in her travels, which she displays in her home. She has just returned from Cuba with great photo's, treasures and stories! She is a 4th generation hand weaver, with degrees in art education and fine art textiles. Over 40 years, she has been honored with numerous awards from various invitational and juried art fairs, including a competitive purchase award for the permanent textiles collection from The Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC. She spent two years with The Peace Corps in Botswana, teaching the community and restructuring the local weaving coop. Her passions at home are knitting socks and spending quality time with her two dogs (Earl-a greyhound rescue & Sammy-a rescue of undetermined origin). She is also a sweater junkie and thrift store aficionado. She recently adopted 2 cats, Miss Etta James and Mr. Stevie Ray Vaughan.
