Great location, very close to restaurants and beach. Great value for money

We spent 8 nights in a two-bedroom apartment at Ellis, with 2 adults and 3 children. The location is excellent - a couple of minutes' walk from the beach and the tram into Adelaide, a minute from the shops and 5 minutes from the large Coles supermarket, so it was no problem to keep the kitchen stocked. The facilities were more than adequate and the rooms were clean and light. Boris was a pleasure to deal with, and answered all queries promptly.

Neat and tidy apartment. Host Boris is nice and helpful even we have to check in late. A very comfortable day staying there. :)

This apartment is in a fantastic location, a couple of streets away from the beach and just 30 seconds to Jetty Road. Excellent base for exploring Glenelg.

PROS - Host / response time - 100%, location 100%, upkeep and condition of building 100%, comfort of the beds 100%. CONS - The Pictures on Airbnb are not of the #1 Apartment (they are of (I assume) #2). #1 - Chipped plates, mismatched eating utensils and tea/coffee cups - last seen when i was a student 20 yrs ago. The furniture in the lounge is second rate blanket covered / mismatched and not what we expected when all you can go by visually, when booking is what is advertised. There was nowhere to unpack our cloths (no shelving in the bedroom - we literally had to live out of our suit cases for our week (we would have expected this if we are on a long stay arrangement, although advertised we did not see a Dryer (an issue in winter). Lastly, although not advertised, but also not listed - there is no bath. Unfortunately, whilst the place was clean and Boris was great (our keys were not ready when we arrived but this was resolved in 10 mins), #1 needs some basics, matching unchipped cutlery and a level of living furniture similar to his pictures that are posted or to what this market would expect. Sure, I'd consider to stay there again. The location is great and the place was clean. #1 is livable but unfortunately we were very disappointed with the booking. My wife and I both had the impression that it was just too similar to our apartments when we were student's and not what a family on holiday would expect.

Description was as exactly as listed. Boris was especially helpful when there was a city wide black out the second night we were in glenelg and he responded immediately to our queries

Family-operated competitively priced. One, two or three bedrooms, full kitchen facilities, private outside entertainment space, air-conditioned, TV & DVD, off street parking, all linen supplied, baby cots, guest laundry, non-smoking. Perfect for business or pleasure, located in the heart of the action in SA premier beach district, 10 minute drive to the airport & 20 minutes to the CBD.
