Living here will make you feel like you are in the world of noblesse oblige. A few steps from all of the West End theatres, museums and attractions this is the perfect pied de terre for those who would like a taste of life lived in the very centre of the empire.
In the treasured home of an English author, you will be surrounded by original artworks, plush furniture, and books galore. A perfect opportunity to weave yourself into the rich tapestry of London.
In the morning, sunlight floods into the elegant front room through the huge Georgian sash windows. A fully-functional annexe kitchen is perfect for quick meals and coffee, but myriad local restaurants will make it near impossible to eat at home.
The original panelling and huge open fireplace keep the home classy and cosy and an antique bureau provides the perfect nook for creative writing and working from home.
The host is a tall gentleman of 6'4" with an Emperor bed and furniture to match making this the ideal home for those who are wishing to stretch out and fill the room.
There are spacious cupboards for storage and a high definition television plus a blu-ray for dvds.
The en suite bathroom has a huge cast-iron bath with a relentless supply of hot water that feeds a hand-held mixer shower. Opulent brass bath fittings designed by Barbara Wilson (by royal appointment).
Other paintings are by my great-uncle Stephen Tennant and the artist Michael Wishart - also Cecil Beaton. While signed Cecil Beaton photographs of my famously beautiful grandmother are in the hall and front room.
The apartment is very peaceful while being in the heart of Covent Garden. The place is buzzing with restaurants, shops, and theatres. The Royal Opera House is five minutes walk away.
Located between Holborn and Covent Garden stations - both a few minutes walk. There are many bus stops providing swift carriage to all locations.

One of us will be available at check-in to welcome you to the flat and make you feel at home. Although we won't be around during your stay we will make sure there will be someone on hand if any problems arise.
I would like guests to keep the flat tidy and clean. I have a very good cleaner who has been with me for 10 years. He is intelligent and he knows where everything is in the flat. He will need paying and I suggest £40 per hour. He is Spanish and speaks perfect English, A very nice person.
I would prefer my books not to be touched. I am a writer and I use them all the time. Books go out of print and can be difficult to replace and also expensive.
So enjoy the apartment and all the area has to offer.
I am English and a writer. I have a theatre play happening next year. I have published three books and many articles. I wish to go away for three months to do some research for my new novel. I am also a horseman and love riding. Riding is in my background. I come from a family who own a country estate but I have lived mostly in London.
But I love travel. I would like to go to most places in the world. I am currently writing a new novel. I also am a talented horseman and after writing my greatest passion is riding.
