A quiet flat in the hills surrounding Llafranc ca 10 minute walk to the beaches (downhill). The flat has private parking, and is on the ground floor. 2 double bedrooms and 1 room with bunkbeds, 1 full bathroom and 1 half bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, large sunny terrace and a shady patio garden. Toys, buggy, kid's bed, DVDs, cds, books & games. However it's not a hotel or a brand new 5 star accommodation so please expect some niggles which of course I'll do my best to resolve.
A lovely, well furnished apartment located in the green hills surrounding Llafranc about a 10 minute walk to the beaches of Llafranc or Calella (downhill). The apartment is tranquil and has a large private garden and terrace which are perfect for outdoor meals.
The flat itself is newly decorated and each room is individual. The flat is down a few steps from the private parking outside the block and which you enter through a blue front door. You'll find a hall way and on the left there's a living room with a sofa, a fireplace, dvd player and TV with a selection of DVDs. Down the corridor you'll find one of the bedrooms, with a bunk bed and then the master bedroom which leads out onto the patio which is perfect for lunch and tea. The dining room with another fireplace is at the end of the flat which leads out onto the sunny terrace with views over the hills and the lighthouse opposite. Next to the dining room is a sunny bedroom with 2 single beds or if you prefer 1 double. Then there's the full bathroom with a bath, 2 sinks, cupboard, bidet and toilet, followed by the half bathroom with sink and toilet . Finally the fully equipped kitchen , with everything you need such as pots, pans, utensils, glasses, microwave, electric cooker and a washing machine. Towels and bed linen are included in the rental price. The flat has everything you need including toys for kids, games, DVDs, books as well as all the basics in the kitchen.
The flat is around 50 years old and I endeavour to keep everything working and fresh. However there are some issues which I'm going to list here so that you are aware of them before booking.
Terrace bedroom. There's a large mark on the back wall. There used to be a crack in the wall which I had repaired in 2016, the builder used the wrong plaster and it shows through the paint we used to decorate. It isn't damp or water related. We also repaired the ceiling in this room and I realise it doesn't look perfect, but it isn't going to fall down either.
Entrance: The paint is peeling off the walls near the entrance. This was painted in March 2017 and I'll repaint it before the season 2018, however as it's not in the living space it doesn't affect the view.
Room next to sitting room. There's a room next to the sitting room which isn't included in the flat description. I use it to store toys, garden furniture, books and other bits and bobs.
Open tile in sitting room near ceiling. The electrician left a tile open which exposes some cables. This doesn't pose a danger as it's high up and again I will close it before the next season.
Ants: There are lots of ants and bugs in the area, the flat is close to the forest and it's inevitable. However, to avoid plagues, please make sure you sweep up after meals and don't leave any food at all lying around. Ant traps are available in all local shops.
Some people complain the flat isn't clean, if you find it isn't then the cleaners will come around and do a free clean. But please leave things as you find them and send me photos otherwise I have no proof it really isn't clean and I have to pay the cleaner again.
Garden furniture. We will be getting new garden furniture for 2018.
Pine needles. The gardener comes and sweeps the gardens between guests, however most guests don't want anyone there during their stay. There are lots of pines and therefore pine needles and you will need to sweep them up every 2 or 3 days in order to keep on top of things. If you don't want to do that, then the gardener can come or you can of course just leave them.
General: Although the cleaner goes through the flat after each guest, there are often things they don't notice are broken, such as the kettle or a tap in the bathroom. If you find something doesn't work then please tell me and I'll do my best to get it fixed or replaced.

If there is an issue with anything, please take a photo and contact me asap. If it's not clean the cleaner will come and clean again for free, however if you don't take a photo we can't offer this service. If something is broken it's because the guests before you broke it and no one told me. So again, please tell me and I'll do my best to get it replaced or fixed as soon as possible. If there's soap or something small missing, please replace it and I'll reimburse if you.
If the hot water runs out, it's because we've run out of gas. See the PDF I sent you for instructions.
