It's in an tranquil rural location, overlooking the picturesque valley of Troutsdale, which itself is a well-kept secret even locally. The cottage is ideal for a get-away-from-it-all escape for countryside-loving family or friends.

You will pick up the key on arrival from a locked key-box and can then come and go as you please. You'll have the cottage to yourselves, although there is another attached holiday cottage next-door and a few other houses and farms dotted along the valley.

Manor House Farm and Cottage are owned by Country Cottage Holiday, a family business from Scarborough, North Yorkshire (see our other listings - we have other cottages nearby, also in Scotland, County Durham and in Cumbria too). You're unlikely to meet them during your stay, but staff members Julie or Christina will be available at the end of a phone line before and during your stay should you need advice or help.
