This fourth floor walk-up is cozy and in a great neighborhood with places just around the corner to get breakfast rolls and coffee. Which is important, since the kitchen is not entirely inviting. A bit of a bachelor pad. Unfortunately, the wireless router (listed as available) was locked in the bedroom and the host did not share, even after I asked him if he could. The fact that you are actually renting a sofa, might not be desirable to those looking for an entire apartment which, to me, implies you will get a bed to sleep in. Communication was a bit of a challenge. The host was out of town or on his way out, then back in town, and asked if it was alright if he came into the apartment (to do laundry and play video games on the sofa, aka my bed). There was recycling left in the kitchen, a big bag of paper and one full of empty bottles, which was not terrible, but contributed to the overall feeling of being a bit of an unwelcome guest. The dirty towels hanging on all available racks in the bathroom were not too pleasant either and being reminded by his visit(s?) during my absence that privacy was not included in the very reasonable price, had me almost relieved that I had to leave a day early. No refund, although his policy states that if you cancel more than 24 hours beforehand during an ongoing stay, he would reimburse. A terse rejection of that suggestion made that clear. You get what you pay for and sometimes a bit less. I am glad that I did not, in the end, drink the coffee. That is, be aware, not cool. Parking in the neighborhood is a challenge, but using Car2Go had me finding a spot even on this packed street.
