À propos de ce logement
This 2 bedroom has lots of rustic charm and artistic detail. It is an older duplex on our shared property. It features a whole-house water filter and with 2 queen beds, it will comfortably sleep 4. It is convenient to downtown, the freeway, the airport.
This funky 600 square foot apartment has room for 4 to sleep comfortably with 2 queen beds.
The house is older (for Tucson) with lots of artistic tile work. We recently upgraded the kitchen and freshly painted with zero VOC paints. It also comes with a whole-house water filter, so every faucet has fresh, delicious water!
It is next door to our other 3 AirBnB rentals:
Accès des voyageurs
You will have your own fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom, living room, 1 good sized bedroom, and 1 smaller bedroom, both with queen beds. The back bedroom is funky and small and the queen bed barely fits, but it is quiet cool with a window AC unit. You will also have access to the shared back yard with chickens and bunnies and 24-hour access to your hosts' hot tub! Also Joanna is a holistic energy healer. Her studio is conveniently located on the property!

We are friendly people who live next door and will gladly share our knowledge of the city, places you may want to visit, etc, and welcome getting to now new people. However, we will leave it to you to decide how much you want to interact. We are often here and can chat if you wish, or if you prefer, you can keep to yourself.
1 mile from the heart of Downtown Tucson and 4th Ave with many fabulous locally owned restaurants and shops, art galleries, book stores, cafes, bars, nightclubs, yoga studios…
We will not lie. The neighborhood does not look great. It is a mostly working-class Latino neighborhood with a fair amount of homeless traffic. There are occasional barking dogs in the area, the faint sounds of neighboring roosters, the neighbors play their music loudly sometimes, kids live in the area, so you may hear them. If this description freaks you out, this might not be the place for you. If it sounds cool, welcome!
With that said, we have lived here since '06 without any break-ins or thefts! Many neighborhoods cannot boast that. The local fire and police departments are right across the street (thought we rarely hear sirens) and for us, the neighborhood is surprisingly safe and much quieter than the close-by Downtown/4th Ave/University Areas.
South Tucson boasts some of the best Mexican restaurants in town, with approximately 15 within 2 miles of the house! Mi Nidito, Crossroads, Taqueria Pico de Gallo, and Micha's are some of our favorites.

I am Joanna from Tucson, AZ. I am 46 years young, a yoga teacher, holistic bodywoker and JourneyDance instructor. I live with my sweet husband Ben, our son, 2 cats, many bunnies, many turtles, and 12 chickens. We both love being AirBnB hosts. We have met wonderful people from around the world.
Our favorite places to travel are beaches. We love snorkeling and swimming in warm water. Maybe because we live in the desert, we especially love getting to places with water!
We enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and finding the commonality. We always like to leave a place as good or better than we found it.
